Bug reports are vital for software maintenance that allow the developers being informed of the problems encountered in the software. Before bug fixing, developers need to reproduce the bugs which is an extremely time-consuming and tedious task, and it is highly expected to automate this process. However, it is challenging to do so considering the imprecise or incomplete natural language described in reproducing steps, and the missing or ambiguous single source of information in GUI components. In this paper, we propose a context-aware bug reproduction approach ScopeDroid which automatically reproduces crashes from textual bug reports for mobile apps. It first constructs a state transition graph (STG) and extracts the contextual information of components. We then design a multi-modal neural matching network to derive the fuzzy matching matrix between all candidate GUI events and reproducing steps. With the STG and matching information, it plans the exploration path for reproducing the bug, and enriches the initial STG iteratively. We evaluate the approach on 102 bug reports from 69 popular Android apps, and it successfully reproduces 63.7% of the crashes, outper-forming the state-of-the-art baselines by 32.6% and 38.3%. We also evaluate the usefulness and robustness of ScopeDroid with promising results. Furthermore, to train the neural matching network, we develop a heuristic-based automated training data generation method, which can potentially motivate and facilitate other activities as user interface operations.

As it is empirically observed that Vision Transformers (ViTs) are quite insensitive to the order of input tokens, the need for an appropriate self-supervised pretext task that enhances the location awareness of ViTs is becoming evident. To address this, we present DropPos, a novel pretext task designed to reconstruct Dropped Positions. The formulation of DropPos is simple: we first drop a large random subset of positional embeddings and then the model classifies the actual position for each non-overlapping patch among all possible positions solely based on their visual appearance. To avoid trivial solutions, we increase the difficulty of this task by keeping only a subset of patches visible. Additionally, considering there may be different patches with similar visual appearances, we propose position smoothing and attentive reconstruction strategies to relax this classification problem, since it is not necessary to reconstruct their exact positions in these cases. Empirical evaluations of DropPos show strong capabilities. DropPos outperforms supervised pre-training and achieves competitive results compared with state-of-the-art self-supervised alternatives on a wide range of downstream benchmarks. This suggests that explicitly encouraging spatial reasoning abilities, as DropPos does, indeed contributes to the improved location awareness of ViTs. Imaging polarimetry is one of the most widely used analytical technologies for object detection and *** date,most metasurface-based polarimetry techniques are severely limited by narrow operating bandwidths and inevitable crosstalk,leading to detrimental effects on imaging quality and measurement ***,we propose a crosstalkfree broadband achromatic full Stokes imaging polarimeter consisting of polarization-sensitive dielectric metalenses,implemented by the principle of polarization-dependent phase *** with the single-polarization optimization method,the average crosstalk has been reduced over three times under incident light with arbitrary polarization ranging from 9μm to 12μm,which guarantees the measurement of the polarization state more *** experimental results indicate that the designed polarization-sensitive metalenses can effectively eliminate the chromatic aberration with polarization selectivity and negligible *** measured average relative errors are 7.08%,8.62%,7.15%,and 7.59%at 9.3,9.6,10.3,and 10.6μm,***,the broadband full polarization imaging capability of the device is also *** work is expected to have potential applications in wavefront detection,remote sensing,light-field imaging,and so forth.

Very-high-cycle fatigue responses of stainless steel for compressor valve plates

Very High Cycle Fatigue (VHCF) responses of stainless steel used for air conditioning compressor valve plates under different loading conditions were investigated. Firstly, the material mechanical responses considering the specimen extracted directions were conducted and compared for predicting the fatigue life. The stress distribution in the simple specimen was examined for these specimens. Furthermore, the fatigue experiments were conducted to explore the variations in calculation methods of materials for the compressor. According to the calculated results under the static and dynamic loading conditions, the results demonstrates that the fatigue life results by the static stress approach is superior to that of the dynamic stress approach with a narrow scatter band. The computed strategy for the high cycle fatigue data could further estimate the fatigue life of structures of air conditioning compressor valve plates.

Forensicability Assessment of Questioned Images in Recapturing Detection

Recapture detection of face and document images is an important forensic task. With deep learning, the performances of face anti-spoofing (FAS) and recaptured document detection have been improved significantly. However, the performances are not yet satisfactory on samples with weak forensic cues. The amount of forensic cues can be quantified to allow a reliable forensic result. In this work, we propose a forensicability assessment network to quantify the forensicability of the questioned samples. The low-forensicability samples are rejected before the actual recapturing detection process to improve the efficiency of recapturing detection systems. We first extract forensicability features related to both image quality assessment and forensic tasks. By exploiting domain knowledge of the forensic application in image quality and forensic features, we define three task-specific forensicability classes and the initialized locations in the feature space. Based on the extracted features and the defined centers, we train the proposed forensic assessment network (FANet) with cross-entropy loss and update the centers with a momentum-based update method. We integrate the trained FANet with practical recapturing detection schemes in face anti-spoofing (FAS) and recaptured document detection tasks. Experimental results show that, for a generic CNN-based FAS scheme, FANet reduces the EERs from 33.75% to 19.23% under ROSE to IDIAP protocol by rejecting samples with the lowest 30% forensicability scores. The performance of FAS schemes is poor in the rejected samples, with EER as high as 56.48%. Similar performances in rejecting low-forensicability samples have been observed for the state-of-the-art approaches in FAS and recaptured document detection tasks. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work that assesses the forensicability of recaptured document images and improves the system efficiency. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. Hardened 58Ni39Ti3Hf possesses a superior resistance to quenching cracking and spall-type surface fatigue as compared to 60NiTi, which makes it considered as an alternative for this binary intermetallic. Nonetheless, it is still a lack of deep understanding of how the microstructure, grain distribution, and surface properties of 58Ni39Ti3Hf differ from those of 60NiTi. In this work, combined analysis methods of X-ray diffraction (XRD), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), and transmission electron microscope (TEM) were conducted to systematically characterize the phase composition, microstructure, and grain distribution. Nanoindentation test was carried out to study the mechanical properties of surface. The growth of passive film in seawater was analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Finally, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurement before, during, and after the tribocorrosion test was performed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of these two alloys when served in different conditions. 58Ni39Ti3Hf was found to have better corrosion and mechanical properties than that of 60NiTi within the range of this experiment, and the involved mechanism was discussed in detail. © 2022, The Authors. The failure analysis of abnormal dissolved gas caused by structural defects were introduced in this study. Both of the oil chromatography diagnostic tests and the electrical diagnostic test were used to checks the generator step-up transformers. The location of the generator step-up transformer fault is determined and the cause of the fault is analyzed. Digital real-time simulation of physical mixing can connect renewable energy and new energy storage micro-grid physical systems to real-time simulation systems for research and testing. This paper selects ITM interface algorithm to implement digital physical hybrid real-time simulation of energy system. Through its digital-to-analog interface with external photovoltaic equipment to form a digital physical closed loop system. A hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform for photovoltaic grid-connected system is designed. In this paper, the characteristics of photovoltaic grid-connected systems are studied using a digital-physical hybrid hardware-in-the-loop simulation method. Multidimensional tests such as photovoltaic inverter function and dynamic performance tests and microgrid stability tests are performed, to verify the accuracy and stability of the digital-analog hybrid real-time simulation interface. The simulation provide an economical, stable and accurate test platform for future new energy grid-connected equipment testing. © 2021 IEEE.

The development of self-powered active mechanical sensors, which enable tactile sensing capabilities for soft robotics, has been substantially accelerated by the invention and quick advancement of piezoelectric nanogenerators that harness mechanical energy from the environment as electricity. However, fabrication methods and sensory output expansion are still challenging to meet the stability and durability requirements during prolonged use. In this work, Metal-doped Zinc Oxide nanomaterial-polymer composites are prepared, characterized, and fully embedded in the flexible substrates to fabricate piezoelectric sensors with enhanced output performance and sensing capabilities. The flexible device can generate an open-circuit voltage up to 13.6 V when the applied force is 8 N at 3 Hz. In addition, these lead-free composite devices also have outstanding elbow motion detection sensitivity, providing a tremendous possibility for precise human body motion sensing. Further, based on the sensors, a biomimetic soft robotic fin with mechanosensation is created, which can measure the amplitude and frequency of the flapping of the fin ray. This research lays the framework for advanced ambient sensing capacities of underwater organisms or robots. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
