Deep exploration and effective coordination of customer-side electrical and thermal loads significantly promote renewable energy consumption on the customer side. This paper proposes a distributed integrated energy system (DIES) by coupling a power distribution grid, heat supply network, wind power, photovoltaic, and combined heat and power generation. Based on the standardized thermal resistance method, the dynamic thermal power flow model of the heating network and the overall power flow model of the DIES are constructed. On this basis, the flexible heating load under the user-following resilient heating scheme is obtained by considering users' behavior and physical comfort. Based on the resilient heating load, a dual-layer dispatching model of the DIES is constructed, and a multi-scenario day-ahead dispatching is conducted to maximize renewable energy consumption. Compard with traditional heating schemes, the dispatch results show savings in heating demand of 7.8 % and 6.2 % with the basic resilient heating scheme and ultimate resilient heating scheme, respectively, and an increase in regional PV power consumption of 27.5 % and 35.8 %, respectively. Overall, improving heating schemes in DIES can bring comprehensive benefits to the energy saving and enhance the flexibility of system dispatching. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

During the start-stop process of high-precision instruments in service, the critical materials of instruments undergo thermal cycling, resulting in changes in microstructure and dimensions. In this paper, the evolution and coupling effects of dislocations and precipitates within 2024Al alloy during 500 thermal cycles were investigated, and their influence on the dimensional changes was quantitatively characterized and decoupling analyzed. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)/aberration-corrected scanning TEM (CS-TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Three-Dimensional Atom Probe Tomography (3D-APT) were used for microstructural evolution analysis and quantitative statistics. The dislocation density increased from 3.32×1014 m-2 to 5.75×1014 m-2 after 500 thermal cycles, which accelerated elemental diffusion and provided nucleation sites of precipitates, contributing to an increase in the number density of the S'/S phase from 1.04×1024 m-3 to 1.41×1024 m-3. Based on the quantitative statistics of precipitate types and corresponding volume fractions, the dimensional change induced by precipitate evolution was -1.78×10-4. And the dimensional change caused by the free volume introduced by dislocation density was 3.32×10-6. Comparing these values with the experimental value of -1.94×10-4, it is clear that the precipitate evolution is the main factor that triggers the dimensional changes in the material. © 2023, The Authors. For high-altitude control area, in order to assist the ground control personnel to monitor short-term flight conflicts in real-time, and to solve the complex flight conflicts that may occur in multi-aircraft from a global perspective, this paper first establishes a spatial digital grid model based on flight safety intervals, and reasonably simplifies the motion model. Secondly, the short-term reachable domain of the aircraft is transformed into grid coordinates, and the numerically dimensioned method is used to obtain the conflicting reachable domain grid coordinates. On the basis of conflict detection, dynamic programming method is used to select the mutually exclusive grid coordinates which are obtained by traversing grid coordinates, and finally the conflict resolution decision of each aircraft is determined by the performance index. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively solve the complex flight conflict problem and provide the resolution decision that meets the safety interval and performance constraints before the TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance system), while the algorithm time can meet certain real-time requirements. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.

A combined cold and power system with an integrated advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage system and double-effect compression-absorption refrigeration using [mmim]DMP/CH3OH as working fluid (CACAR) was proposed. The CACAR system can use the heat generated by the compression process and the cooling capacity generated by the expansion of compressed air. The dynamic mathematical model of the CACAR system was built based on the mass conservation, energy conservation, and entropy equation of each component. The verification of the compressor, expander, air tank, and compression absorption refrigeration were partly implemented to validate the proposed model. The energy balance of the proposed system was confirmed. The exergy losses of each component were calculated and analyzed. The transient characteristics of the expansion process were simulated and discussed. Based on the sensitivity analysis results, the four key operating parameters were optimized using the multi-objective and multiparameter methods. The exergy efficiency of the CACAR system was slightly higher than that of the advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (AA-CAES) system. The energy efficiency of the CACAR system was at least 14.97 % higher than that of the AA-CAES system. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Space charge injected into a liquid dielectric by an electrode under an impulse voltage causes the electric field to be distorted,which affects the dielectric's insulation *** this study,the authors study the surface modification of three-electrode materials,namely aluminium,copper,and stainless steel,by sputtering of titanium dioxide(TiO2)based on magnetron *** breakdown voltage of propylene carbonate and the surface morphology of the electrodes before and after modification were ***,the distribution of the space charge injected into the propylene carbonate from the different electrode materials was also measured based on the Kerr electro-optic *** results indicate that the breakdown voltage of propylene carbonate increased by 7,4,and 9%after surface modification of aluminium,copper,and stainless steel,*** sputtering of TiO2,micro-grooves on the surface of the three-electrode materials became smooth,and the surface roughness decreased,which changed the barrier height of the solid–liquid *** space charge injection mode of the three-electrode materials before and after surface modification was bipolar injection;however,the space charge injection amounts were markedly lower for the modified electrodes.

A semantic map of the road scene, covering fundamental road elements, is an essential ingredient in autonomous driving systems. It provides important perception foundations for positioning and planning when rendered in the Bird's-Eye-View (BEV). Currently, the prior knowledge of hypothetical depth can guide the learning of translating front perspective views into BEV directly with the help of calibration parameters. However, it suffers from geometric distortions in the representation of distant objects. In addition, another stream of methods without prior knowledge can learn the transformation between front perspective views and BEV implicitly with a global view. Considering that the fusion of different learning methods may bring surprising beneficial effects, we propose a Bi-Mapper framework for top-down road-scene semantic understanding, which incorporates a global view and local prior knowledge. To enhance reliable interaction between them, an asynchronous mutual learning strategy is proposed. At the same time, an Across-Space Loss (ASL) is designed to mitigate the negative impact of geometric distortions. Extensive results on nuScenes and Cam2BEV datasets verify the consistent effectiveness of each module in the proposed Bi-Mapper framework. Compared with exiting road mapping networks, the proposed Bi-Mapper achieves 2.1% higher IoU on the nuScenes dataset. Moreover, we verify the generalization performance of Bi-Mapper in a real-world driving scenario. The source code is publicly available at BiMapper. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. Terahertz comb spectroscopy offers advantages of high-resolution in broadband terahertz regions. However, conventional implementations of terahertz comb spectrometers are difficult to simultaneously achieve high precision and long-term stability due to the residual timing jitter of the involved light sources. In this work, an adaptive-clock signal from optical beat note in optical region was extracted for real-time correcting the unstable sampling interval-time caused by the residual timing jitter and a loosely active frequency-stabilized scheme functioned as a real-time feedback. And finally, a long-term stable terahertz dual-comb spectrometer was constructed with a spectral resolution of 66.14 MHz, a comb linewidth of 1.9 kHz, a fractional precision of 1.7×10−9 and a long-term operation over 1200 hours. This proved that the precise acquisition of terahertz pulses could be realized through the compensation of timing jitter for pumped optical pulses. The presented terahertz comb spectrometer is featured with enhanced robustness compared to previous schemes based on two fully stabilized mode-locked laser combs, which would thus facilitate field deployment outside the laboratories. © 2022, The Authors. Compute-in-memory (CIM) presents an attractive approach for energy-efficient computing in data-intensive applications. However, the development of suitable memory designs to achieve high-performance CIM remains a challenging task. Here, we propose a cryogenic quasi-static embedded DRAM to address the logic-memory mismatch of CIM. Guided by the re-calibrated cryogenic device model, the designed four-transistor bit-cell achieves full-swing data storage, low power consumption, and extended retention time at cryogenic temperatures. Combined with the adoption of cryogenic write bitline biasing technique and readout circuitry optimization, our 4Kb cryogenic eDRAM chip demonstrates a 1.37×106 times improvement in retention time, while achieving a 75 times improvement in retention variability, compared to room-temperature operation. Moreover, it also achieves outstanding power performance with a retention power of 112 fW and a dynamic power of 108 µW at 4.2 K, which can be further decreased by 7.1% and 13.6% using the dynamic voltage scaling technique. This work reveals the great potential of cryogenic CMOS for high-density data storage and lays a solid foundation for energy-efficient CIM implementations. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. Plague,a devastating infectious disease caused by Yersinia pestis,has killed millions of people in the past and is still active in the natural foci of the world *** the spatiotemporal patterns of plague outbreaks in history is critically important,as it may help to facilitate prevention and control of potential future *** this study,we explored spatiotemporal clusters of human plague occurrences in China using a machine-learning clustering method and reconstructed the potential transmission pattern during the Third Pandemic(1772-1964).We succeeded in identifying 6 clusters in the space domain(2D)and 13 clusters in the spatiotemporal domain(3D).Our results suggest that there were several temporal outbreaks and transmissions of plague in different spatial *** with the spatiotemporal nearest neighbor approach(ST-NNA),this method could allow us to have a clearer look at the spatiotemporal patterns of plague.
