INFLUENCE OF SOIL MOISTURE CONTENT ON MAIZE SOWING MONITORING system

Aiming at the problem that the soil moisture content of no-till land is difficult to manually measure the missed seeding, re-seeding, and sowing depth of no-tillage sowing operations, this paper combines sensor technology to design a quality monitoring system for corn sowing operations. Field experiments were conducted to collect information on the operation of no-tillage planters in cultivated land with different moisture contents and to study the effects of different soil moisture contents on the quality of sowing operations. According to the test results, when the planter operates on three kinds of arable land with different moisture contents, the sowing quality monitoring system can monitor the sowing and sowing depth accuracy of more than 92%;The monitoring accuracy of sowing and its depth is higher than that of no-tillage land for corn and wheat, Which rech more than 96%. This study provides a reference value for improving the accuracy of the no-tillage planter's quality monitoring system. © 2022, Politechnica University of Bucharest. All rights reserved.

Implantable brain-computer interface is a braincomputer interaction device by implants optrodes/electrodes on the surface or deep of the brain. By stimulating and recording neural signals, we can explore the function of neural tissue and further guide disease treatment or brain signal decoding. This article reviews the development of printed electronics in implantable brain-computer interfaces, mainly discussing the advantages and disadvantages of printed electrodes in braincomputer interfaces and the possibility of printing technology used in optogenetic brain-computer interfaces, to illuminate a great prospect of printing technology in implantable braincomputer interfaces.

In this paper, an active damping control strategy based on capacitance and voltage feedback is proposed to solve the resonance problem of three-phase LCL inverter grid-connected system. To solve the problem that the parameters of active damping control strategy are complicated and need to be adjusted repeatedly, a parameter design method is proposed in this paper, which is simple to implement and does not need to be adjusted repeatedly. Finally, the effectiveness of the control strategy and parameter design method is verified by experiments. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

The emerging Internet of Things (IoT) applications, such as driverless cars, have a growing demand for high-precision positioning and navigation. Nowadays, LiDAR inertial odometry becomes increasingly prevalent in robotics and autonomous driving. However, many current SLAM systems lack sufficient adaptability to various scenarios. Challenges include decreased point cloud accuracy with longer frame intervals under the constant velocity assumption, coupling of erroneous IMU information when IMU saturation occurs, and decreased localization accuracy due to the use of fixed-resolution maps during indoor-outdoor scene transitions. To address these issues, we propose a loosely coupled adaptive LiDAR-Inertial-Odometry named Adaptive-LIO, which incorporates adaptive segmentation to enhance mapping accuracy, adapts motion modality through IMU saturation and fault detection, and adjusts map resolution adaptively using multi-resolution voxel maps based on the distance from the LiDAR center. Our proposed method has been tested in various challenging scenarios, demonstrating the effectiveness of the improvements we introduce. The sequence impedance has a clear physical meaning and can be directly measured by commercial equipment, so it is widely used for stability analysis in the field of electrical engineering. It can be transformed from dq impedance indirectly or calculated based on Harmonic state Space (HSS) theory directly. This paper analyzes the equivalence of the above two methods. Firstly, the dq impedance model of grid-connected converter is established, and the equivalence of impedance in dq domain and sequence domain is proved by mathematical transformation. Then, modified sequence impedance model of grid-connected converter is established considering the frequency coupling phenomenon. On the other hand, the impedance model can also be obtained from HSS modeling with h order harmonics. Subsequently, the relationship between the modified sequence impedance and HSS impedance can be found. The former is a special case when the latter takes h=2. When considering the coupling effect of higher harmonics, HSS impedance model has higher accuracy. Finally, the accuracy and the equivalence of the above-mentioned two methods are verified by frequency sweep.

In-memory network caching is a common solution to relieve pressure on databases and applications. However, the in-memory caching applications such as redis and memcached cannot achieve maximum performance due to the bottleneck inherent in the linux network stack. While most of the solutions today rely on kernel-bypass approaches or reengineering of applications, little attention has been given to in-kernel processing. In this article, we present NCA (Network Caching Accelerator), an in-kernel cache to release overhead brought by the linux network stack, enabling flexibility and customization without bypassing the kernel that was unthinkable before. NCA can process the cache requests as early as possible in the linux network, bringing significant performance gains without modifying the cache application itself. It works in concert with the linux kernel, enabling reuse of the security model of linux kernel. Additionally, NCA uses little CPU resources, leaving valuable CPU cycles for other applications and processes on the host. We evaluate NCA using redis as an example, and find that redis with NCA can achieve three times the throughput of the original redis. Besides, other caching applications can also use NCA to improve their performance.

With the rapid development of renewable generation, the evolution process of fast cascading failures in the power system with a high proportion of renewable generation turns out to be more complicated. There are few existing fast cascading failure models that take into account the voltage ride through (VRT) capability of renewable generation. The portrayal of the dynamic characteristics of renewable generation still needs to be improved. In response to this, the VRT control model and VRT protection model have been established to comprehensively depict the output characteristics and disturbance tolerance capability of renewable generation in fast cascading failures. Finally, the simulation results of the AC-DC hybrid receiving-end system with a high proportion of renewable generation show that the established models can effectively depict the influence of VRT capability of renewable generation in fast cascading failures, providing a more comprehensive basis for the analysis of fast cascading failures under the access of a high proportion of renewable generation.

With the increasing integration of renewable energy into the power grid, the application of converters in the electrical systems has grown significantly. Due to the nonlinearity, the complexity and the difficult availability of the system models, traditional methods of synchronization stability analysis have revealed limitations and challenges when confronted with modern power systems. Additionally, the prevalence of grid-following converters in the grid leads to a shortage of voltage sources within the system, significantly increasing the risk of grid instability. This paper addresses the issue of synchronization stability analysis of multi-converter power systems, and proposes a response-based method to assess the synchronization stability level of the entire system. Through an analysis of the synchronization stability mechanism of grid-forming converters, a relationship is established between electromotive force, power angle, and node voltages. A quantitative stability evaluation of the system is achieved using the sBTTC index. Case studies show that the proposed response-based method is effective to analyze the synchronization stability of multi-converter power systems, with great practical viability in engineering applications.

At present, searching for efficient methods to degrade SF6 is a worldwide hotspot. Due to the abundant active groups on the surface, MXene is regarded as an ideal catalyst support. In this paper, the potential active sites of Ti3C2Tx (T=OH, F, O) for SF6 catalytic degradation were studied using DFT method. The results show the adsorption of SF6 on Ti3C2(OH)2 is significantly stronger than that on Ti3C2F2 and Ti3C2O2. Among typical adsorption sites on Ti3C2(OH)2, SF6 exhibited the strongest interaction at OH-1 site. Complex electron orbital interactions occurred between SF6 and Ti3C2(OH)2. The adsorption energy reached -6.739eV and about 1.414e transferred from Ti3C2(OH)2 to SF6. Structure of SF6 changed obviously and chemical adsorption occurred in this process. However, on Ti3C2F2 and Ti3C2O2, adsorption energy and electron transfer were small and the structure had little change, which was mainly physical adsorption. Compared with common catalysts such as Ag, α‑Al2O3 and BaTiO3, Ti3C2(OH)2 showed better catalytic activity for SF6 degradation. By strong adsorption of the active site on the surface, the degradation products were separated from each other, which weakened SF6 recombination and promoted the further degradation. The results provide theoretical support for MXene acting as a catalyst to efficiently degrade SF6 © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
