Pairwise similarity has been widely used for image classification by propagating the class information from labeled images to unlabeled images and predicting the classes of unlabeled images accordingly. Although widely used, pairwise similarity based classification methods have two drawbacks. On one hand, visual-semantic similarity consistency does not always hold due to semantic gap. On the other hand, the reliability of pairwise similarity is also influenced by the number and underlying distribution of labeled images. A well-designed classification model cannot be easily generalized to few-shot classification tasks. To solve these two problems, in this article, we propose a semantic coherence guided multiview similarity (SCG-MV) for image classification method with varied supervision levels. We measure the semantic coherence between image pairs for classifier learning. This is achieved by first conducting line search along the line segment between each image pair, and then measure the semantics of each interval. The similarity of one image pair can then be obtained by aggregating the semantic coherence of all the intervals. In this way, we can model image similarities more finely and discriminatively. To make use of multiview information, we also use the semantic coherence guided image similarities to learn multiview classifiers. The proposed semantic coherence guided method can be combined with other similarity based methods for image classification with various levels of supervision. We conduct both few-shot and fully supervised classification experiments on four datasets with the results well prove the discriminative power and generalization ability of the proposed method. © 2020 IEEE.

Super-resolution reconstruction of single image for latent features

Single-image super-resolution(SISR)typically focuses on restoring various degraded low-resolution(LR)images to a single high-resolution(HR)***,during SISR tasks,it is often challenging for models to simultaneously maintain high quality and rapid sampling while preserving diversity in details and texture *** challenge can lead to issues such as model collapse,lack of rich details and texture features in the reconstructed HR images,and excessive time consumption for model *** address these problems,this paper proposes a Latent Feature-oriented Diffusion Probability Model(LDDPM).First,we designed a conditional encoder capable of effectively encoding LR images,reducing the solution space for model image reconstruction and thereby improving the quality of the reconstructed *** then employed a normalized flow and multimodal adversarial training,learning from complex multimodal distributions,to model the denoising *** so boosts the generative modeling capabilities within a minimal number of sampling *** comparisons of our proposed model with existing SISR methods on mainstream datasets demonstrate that our model reconstructs more realistic HR images and achieves better performance on multiple evaluation metrics,providing a fresh perspective for tackling SISR tasks.

With the continuous improvement of radar intelligence, it is difficult for traditional countermeasures to achieve ideal results. In order to deal with complex, changeable, and unknown threat signals in the complex electromagnetic environment, a waveform intelligent optimization model based on intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed. By virtue of the universality and fast running speed of the intelligent optimization algorithm, the model can optimize the parameters used to synthesize the countermeasure waveform according to different external signals, so as to improve the countermeasure *** algorithm(GA) and particle swarm optimization(PSO)are used to simulate the intelligent optimization of interruptedsampling and phase-modulation repeater waveform. The experimental results under different radar signal conditions show that the scheme is feasible. The performance comparison between the algorithms and some problems in the experimental results also provide a certain reference for the follow-up work.

There has been growing interest in the high-entropy ceramic(HEC)recently owing to its tailorable compositions and microstructures,versatile properties,together with promising structural and functional ***,inferior fracture toughness(KIC)and damage tolerance restricted many practical applications of the ***,we addressed this challenge by incorporating a threedimensional graphene–carbon nanotube(3D G–CNT)as toughening agent in(Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2))*** resulting enhanced 3D G–CNT/(Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2))C featured an outstanding toughness of 8.23 MPa·m^(1/2),while remaining superior strength(763 MPa)and hardness(24.7 GPa).An ultralow friction coefficient(0.15)coupled with an ultralow wear rate(w,2.6×10^(−7) mm^(3)/(N·m))in the 3D G–CNT/(Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2))C was obtained primarily as a function of lubricating scrolls,in which two-dimensional(2D)graphene acted as a tribolayer,and one-dimensional(1D)carbon nanotubes acted as nano ball bearings embedded ***,the 3D G–CNT/(Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2))C exhibited rather low thermal conductivity(κ)yet excellent electrical conductivity(σ,1.3×10^(6) S/m)in comparison with the pure(Hf_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Zr_(0.2))*** study provided great potential for maximizing the physical and functional properties of the HEC for various applications.

Neural networks based on graph convolution are simple and effective network structures that have better performance in some fields compared to traditional convolutional networks. However, when graph convolution networks (GCN) are applied to other fields, how to transform data or features into graph edges is a challenge needed to be studied. In previous studies of non-Euclidean spatial data such as relationship studies, people achieve graph construction by indicating the connection or not of nodes with binary values. However, when graph network is applied to some multi-sensor data scenarios, especially human motion tracking tasks, binarization is obviously not the best solution for the weights of edges. In addition, relying on manual graph construction may ignore some cross-space sensor relationships, which makes the update information of nodes far away slower or unavailable. Therefore, we try to use Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) as the estimation of node correlation, and construct a complete graph to enhance the connectivity of nodes, which achieve faster signal transmission at remote nodes. After combining it with the temporal convolutional network (TCN), we propose a new network structure TGCN-P. Experimentally, this approach is more effective compared to other baseline models. © 2023 IEEE.

In the paper, stability analysis of a class of incommensurate fractional-order systems (IFOS) is studied. These sufficient conditions are based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) and straightforwardly used to solve the feasible solutions with the LMI toolbox. Finally, two examples including a circuit example are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the comparison with the previous results shows that the proposed method is less conservative. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Robot Design of Frogs Jumping Based on Soft-Body Detonation Drive

To achieve a strong instantaneous burst jumping ability, a soft body detonation actuator is proposed by combining the advantages of silicone materials and the characteristics of hydrogen and oxygen mixed gas detonation, which can not only enable the robot to exert the superior movement characteristics of the hindlimbs of frogs during jumping but also make its hindlimb structure more dexterous, lightweight and simple. At the same time, a spring-based forelimb mechanism is also designed so that the robot has the function of jumping with multiple attitude angle changes and the function of smooth buffer landing when jumping. Then, the kinematics and jumping efficiency models are established by using the D-H parameter method and geometric method and verified to analyze the optimal jump-out efficiency. Finally, the experimental results prove that the robot can not only achieve 6 consecutive jumps with a single jump reaching a height of 0.6 m and a distance exceeding 1.2 m, but can also easily cross a rectangular obstacle that has a length of 40 cm, a width of 30 cm, and a height of 25 cm. © 2023, The Authors.
