Enhanced nitrogen removal of the anaerobic ammonia oxidation process by coupling with an efficient nitrate reducing bacterium(Bacillus velezensis M3-1)

Single-shot ultrafast compressed imaging(UCI)is an effective tool for studying ultrafast dynamics in physics,chemistry,or material science because of its excellent high frame rate and large frame ***,the random code(Rcode)used in traditional UCI will lead to low-frequency noise covering high-frequency information due to its uneven sampling interval,which is a great challenge in the fidelity of large-frame ***,a high-frequency enhanced compressed active photography(H-CAP)is *** uniformizing the sampling interval of R-code,H-CAP capture the ultrafast process with a random uniform sampling *** sampling mode makes the high-frequency sampling energy dominant,which greatly suppresses the low-frequency noise blurring caused by R-code and achieves high-frequency information of image *** superior dynamic performance and large-frame reconstruction ability of H-CAP are verified by imaging optical self-focusing effect and static object,*** applied H-CAP to the spatial-temporal characterization of double-pulse induced silicon surface ablation dynamics,which is performed within 220 frames in a single-shot of 300 ps.H-CAP provides a high-fidelity imaging method for observing ultrafast unrepeatable dynamic processes with large frames.

With the rapid development of various fields,including aerospace,industrial measurement and control,and medical monitoring,the need to quantify flow velocity measurements is *** is difficult for traditional flow velocity sensors to fulfill accuracy requirements for velocity measurements due to their small ranges,susceptibility to environmental impacts,and ***,to optimize sensor performance,a flexible microelectromechanical system(MEMS)thermal flow sensor is proposed that combines the working principles of thermal loss and thermal temperature difference and utilizes a flexible cavity substrate made of a low-thermal-conductivity polyimide/SiO_(2)(PI/SiO_(2))composite porous film to broaden the measurement range and improve the *** measurement results show that the maximum measurable flow velocity can reach 30 m/s with a resolution of 5.4mm/*** average sensitivities of the sensor are 59.49 mV/(m s−1)in the medium-to-low wind velocity range of 0–2 m/s and 467.31 mV/(m s^(−1))in the wind velocity range of 2–30 m/*** sensor proposed in this work can enable new applications of flexible flow sensors and wearable devices.

Charge-spin interconversion in magnetic materials is investigated by using the first-principles *** addition to the conventional spin Hall effect(SHE) that requires mutual orthogonality of the charge current,spin-flow direction,and spin polarization,the recently proposed anomalous SHE(ASHE) is confirmed in Mn2Au and *** interaction of the order parameter with conduction electrons leads to sizeable non-zero spin Berry curvatures that give rise to anomalous spin Hall conductivity(ASHC).Our calculations show that the ASHE is intrinsic and originates from the order-parameter-controlled spin-orbit interaction,which generates an extra anomalous effective field.A useful relationship among the order parameter,the spin Berry curvature,and the ASHC is *** findings provide a new avenue for generating and detecting arbitrary types of spin currents.

RockTrack: A 3D Robust Multi-Camera-Ken Multi-Object Tracking Framework

3D Multi-Object Tracking (MOT) obtains significant performance improvements with the rapid advancements in 3D object detection, particularly in cost-effective multi-camera setups. However, the prevalent end-to-end training approach for multi-camera trackers results in detector-specific models, limiting their versatility. Moreover, current generic trackers overlook the unique features of multi-camera detectors, i.e., the unreliability of motion observations and the feasibility of visual information. To address these challenges, we propose RockTrack, a 3D MOT method for multi-camera detectors. Following the Tracking-By-Detection framework, RockTrack is compatible with various off-the-shelf detectors. RockTrack incorporates a confidence-guided preprocessing module to extract reliable motion and image observations from distinct representation spaces from a single detector. These observations are then fused in an association module that leverages geometric and appearance cues to minimize mismatches. The resulting matches are propagated through a staged estimation process, forming the basis for heuristic noise modeling. Additionally, we introduce a novel appearance similarity metric for explicitly characterizing object affinities in multi-camera settings. RockTrack achieves state-of-the-art performance on the nuScenes vision-only tracking leaderboard with 59.1% AMOTA while demonstrating impressive computational efficiency. © 2024, CC BY-NC-SA.

With the continuous development of radar jamming methods and styles, radar systems are facing more and more complex electromagnetic environment, resulting in limited suppression performance through spatial anti-jamming measures solely. In order to solve the problem, this paper proposes an anti-jamming method based on joint spatial-polarimetric processing for Frequency Diverse Array Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (FDA-MIMO) system. Firstly, the signal model of Polarimetric FDA-MIMO (PFDA-MIMO) is established. Based on this model, a joint spatial-polarimetric adaptive filtering method is proposed and experiments are carried out to demonstrate the advantages of joint spatial-polarimetric processing in anti-jamming. Compared to the filtering method that only utilizing the spatial information, this method has a better performance dealing with multidimensional jamming and improves the ability of FDA-MIMO in resisting main lobe jamming. © 2024 SPIE.

Oxygen anion redox reaction provides a high theoretical capacity for Li-rich manganese-based ***,irreversible surface oxygen release often results in further oxygen loss and exacerbates the decomposition of the electrolyte,which could reduce the capacity contribution from the anionic redox and produce more acidic substances to corrode the surface of the *** this paper,the surface oxygen release is suppressed by moderating oxygen anion redox activity via constructing chemical bonds between M(M=Fe and La)in LaFeO_(3)and surface oxygen anions of Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2).The constructed interface layer stabilizes the surface lattice oxygen and retards the electrolyte from being attacked by the nucleophilic oxygen generated in the process of oxygen release,as evidenced by Differential Electrochemical Mass Spectrometry(DEMS)and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)***,in the charge and discharge process,the formed FeF_(3),located at the cathode electrolyte interfacial layer,is conducive to the stability of the cathode *** modified Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2)electrode with 3 wt%LaFeO_(13)exhibits a high specific capacity of 189.5 mA h g-at 1C(200 mA g^(-1))after 150 cycles with capacity retentions of 96.6%,and 112.6 mA h g^(-1)(84.7%)at 5C after 200 cycles higher than the pristine *** study provides a rational design chemical bonding method to suppress the oxygen release from the cathode surface and enhance cyclic stability.

We, for the first time, fabricated wafer-level arrayed βGa2O3 single crystal thin films on diamond substrate using transfer printing technology. The transfer-printed β-Ga2O3 thin film possesses a thickness of 260 nm, a XRD rocking curve FWHM of ~78 arcsec, and a surface roughness of 0.36 nm. The amorphous interface layer after post-annealing is less than 2 nm. The thermal boundary resistance is extracted to 21.7 m2·K/GW, which is the lowest value reported for single-crystal β-Ga2O3 integrated with diamond. Thanks to the high thermal conductivity of diamond and the high-quality hetero-interface, the performance of β-Ga2O3-on-diamond RF MOSFETs is significantly enhanced. The maximum on-state current is 810 mA/mm, and the fmax before de-embedding reaches 61 GHz, which is the highest recorded value to date. Infrared thermal imaging shows that integrating with diamond significantly reduces the junction temperature of β-Ga2O3 devices. The Rth of β-Ga2O3-ondiamond devices is merely 5.52 K·mm/W, setting a new record for βGa2O3-based devices. These results demonstrate that hetero-integration with diamond via wafer-level transfer printing technology provides an effective thermal management platform for β-Ga2O3, facilitating its advancement in high-power and RF devices. © 2024 IEEE.

Designed to provide rehabilitation or the assistance of walking for individuals who are with lower limb muscle injuries or spinal during their activities, self-balancing lower limb exoskeletons have been developed. This paper introduces an innovative controller for a fully actuated exoskeleton that ensures stable walking for wearers without the need for external devices. The exoskeleton robot is represented as a center of mass model, and based on this representation, the trajectory generation and controller are discussed, aiming to improve locomotion stability. To assess the stability and dynamic performance, a stable walking experiment with the exoskeleton was conducted, involving a male subject. © 2023 IEEE.

In the movement area of an airport, the wireless communication system is built to satisfy the communication requirements of mobile stations (MSs), which include aircraft, vehicles, staff, passengers, and sensors. However, the actual airport wireless communication system is a heterogeneous wireless network with multiple individual wireless communication systems. In this paper, we design a multiprotocol base station (MPBS) to realize the access and interconnection of the MSs with different protocols. In addition, a direct forwarding scheme of MPBS is proposed to improve the performance of transmissions from one MS to another. Third, a priority order transmission scheme, which can reduce the end-to-end delay of important data, is proposed for direct forwarding MPBS. Simulation results show that the proposed direct forwarding MPBS scheme can improve the transmission performance of interactive data and reduce the load of the core network. © 2024 Begell House Inc..
