In this work,the effect of Cu addition and heat treatment schemes on the microstructural evolution,mechanical properties,and corresponding strengthening mechanism of cast Al-Li-Mg alloy were *** indicate that the dendritic segregation would be induced after the introduction of Cu,and a well-designed two-stage solution treatment could effectively dissolve secondary *** Cu addi-tion,aging hardening responses of the alloys were accelerated,accompanied by a continuous increase in the volume fraction of both S’-Al_(2) CuMg and Al_(3) Li phases,which enhanced the precipitation strengthen-ing ***,in Cu-containing alloys,both the coarsening of Al_(3) Li phases and the expansion of Al3 Li-precipitation free zones(PFZ)were inhibited during the aging ***,severe strain accumulation was found at the interface between the coalesced S’phase andα-Al matrix,which reduced the ductility of the alloy.A good combination of strength and ductility(YS=308 MPa,UTS=428 MPa,EL=5.0%)was obtained in the Al-2.5Li-2Mg-1Cu-0.12Zr alloy aged at 175°C for 32 h due to the nar-rowed Al3 Li-PFZ and the synergistic strengthening of Al3 Li and S’*** work is expected to provide guidelines for designing novel cast Al-Li alloys with wider applications.

GH4169 joints manufactured by Linear Friction Welding(LFW)are subjected to tensile test and stair-case method to evaluate the High Cycle Fatigue(HCF)performance at 650℃.The yield and ultimate tensile strengths are 582 MPa and 820 MPa,*** HCF strength of joint reaches 400 MPa,which is slightly lower than that of Base Metal(BM),indicating reliable quality of this type of *** microstructure observation results show that all cracks initiate at the inside of specimens and transfer into deeper region with decrease of external stress,and the crack initiation site is related with microhardness of *** Electron Backscattered Diffraction(EBSD)results of the observed regions with different distances to fracture show that plastic deformation plays a key role in HCF,and the Schmid factor of most grains near fracture exceeds *** addition,the generation of twins plays a vital role in strain concentration release and coordinating plastic deformation among grains.

Background With the widespread promotion of selective fishing which may target top predatory fishes,the abun-dance and species composition of top predators could change,which may further impact species at lower trophic levels through a chain of cascading trophic ***,the top-down effects of changes in predator com-munities driven by selective fishing remain poorly investigated.
Methods Focusing on a seagrass ecosystem,we investigated how changes in two coexisting top predators(Lateo-labraxjaponicus and Acanthogobius ommaturus)under different selective fishing scenarios would affect species at lower trophic levels in a field manipulative experiment.
Results We found that the trophic niches of *** and *** overlapped greatly,although not *** loss of *** led to increases in ***,the abundances of herbivorous benthos Barleeia bureri increased likely owing to ***'s suppression of low-level predators,while epiphyte and seagrass biomass decreased significantly likely owing to ***'s disturbance of seagrasses and *** both predators were depleted,the biomasses of herbivorous benthos Cyclina sinensis and *** increased significantly likely owing to the absence of top predators'disturbance of sediments,while epiphyte and seagrass biomass did not change.
Conclusions Our study showed that loss of one top predator could lead to rapid changes in species at lower trophic levels in seagrass beds,depending on changes in,and the trophic or non-trophic effects(including biological distur-bances)of,its ***,in fisheries resource management,the ecological impacts of selectively fishing a target predator must be managed considering changes in,and the trophic or non-trophic effects of,its competitors where present.
