The promotion and application of electric vehicles can effectively alleviate environmental pollution and fuel shortages. However, when a large-scale electric vehicle is connected to the power system, it brings the risk of cyber-attacks during the massive data communication process. If the cyber-attack in the data transmission process cannot be effectively detected for safety, the charging behavior will not be controlled correctly and effectively. The safe operation of cyber-physical power systems will take great risks. Therefore, the cybersecurity risks that may exist when electric vehicles are connected to the cyber-physical power system are analyzed in this article. Firstly, based on the communication structure of large-scale electric vehicles connected to the cyber-physical power system, the potential safety hazards in the information communication network of electric vehicles are analyzed. Exploring the possible cyber-attacks during the information interaction to discover the risks to the power grid caused by malicious cyber-attacks of electric vehicles. Thus, it provides the foundation for the study of power grid stability control methods and escorts the further development of the smart grid.

In the existing power grid dispatching and control system, the management mechanism of the software version is incomplete; the software quality is difficult to guarantee; the level of automation of the software release is low; the feedback mechanism of the software usage is lacking. So it is difficult to meet the openness requirements of New Generation Power Grid Dispatching and control System (NGPGDCS). In this paper, we propose a framework of app store for NGPGDCS, and give some specific introductions to key technologies such as app review and release process, app precise recommendation and download, app intelligent upgrade, and app evaluation feedback. This solution has been piloted in some power grid dispatching and control centers at provincial level and above. Practice has proved that this solution helps to improve the quality of apps, enhance the degree of software automation release, and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of apps.

Methanol-to-olefin (MTO) is a typical example of the new coal chemical industry. Due to the large volume of generated wastewater, complex composition, and heavy environmental hazard, wastewater recycling is critical for sustainable industrial development and ecological protection. Herein, a swirl regenerating micro-channel separation (SRMS) technology integrating deep filtration and hydrocyclone-enhanced regeneration was proposed. A small-scale experimental investigation was first conducted to verify the feasibility of the MTO wastewater treatment. A pilot SRMS device with a treatment capacity of 20 m3/h was constructed, and the continuous operation effect and stability of the device were comprehensively evaluated. The separation performance of the SRMS device at different solution pH values and the effect of the hydrocyclone-enhanced regeneration of separation media were discussed in detail. The big obstacles for residential energy transition are from lacks of consumption behavior model and relative information system. A four-tier residential energy demand model is developed to explore the cognition-consciousness-demand-behavior evolution process; then residential energy behavior analysis data sources are investigated and necessity of questionnaire survey system is analyzed. To have a theory-supported information system, extension of Engel-Kollat-Blackwell consumption behavior model has been developed, and design of questionnaire survey system for residential customer is introduced with simple analysis of real implementation.

The regional integrated energy system is an effective way to realize energy cascade utilization and improve the flexibility and economy of the load side operation. Combine cooling heating and power (CCHP) system is a typical form of integrated energy systems. However, due to heat-load-based operation mode, the peak modulation capacity of CCHP units and the accommodation of renewable energy are limited. This paper explores methods of increasing the flexibility and economy of the system. An optimal scheduling model is proposed for integrated energy systems containing an electric heat pump, considering heating network characteristics. Simulation results show that the electric heat pump can help the system realize heat-and-power decoupling, improve the flexibility of the system and reduce the operating cost of the system. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. Current transformer (CT) disconnection of bus is prone to maloperation of bus differential protection. The existing criteria for CT disconnection do not fully consider the distinction between heavy load high impedance fault and external metal fault transfer to internal high impedance fault. And not fully consider the influence of one-half wiring circulation and unbalanced impedance on CT disconnection zero sequence criterion. Based on the theoretical analysis of the characteristics of braking current variation and zero sequence current distribution in the event of internal fault, this paper puts forward a fast blocking criterion of CT disconnection based on braking current and zero sequence current, and carries out simulation verification. Both the theory and the simulation show that there is a drop of braking current in the event of internal fault. The distribution of zero sequence current in the event of CT disconnection is obviously different from that in the event of internal fault. The criterion proposed in this paper can effectively and reliably distinguish CT disconnection from internal fault. © 2020 IEEE.

Cyber Physics Systems consists of physical systems and information systems. Modern power systems are increasingly dependent on information systems, experts and scholars are paying more and more attention to cyber attacks on CPS. This paper first introduces the existing research on cyber physical power system. Then this paper reviews the current status of existing cyber attacks. Finally, the modeling method for CPS is summarized such as correlation characteristic matrix, graph theory, complex network theory, finite state machine, mathematical programming and cellular automata method. These methods have vital theoretical and practical significance for the research of cyber physical power system.

The substation has the features of a large quantity and wide-area distribution. With the promotion of unattended mode, it has become increasingly difficult to adapt to the needs of smart grid development using traditional field-based automatic equipment operation and maintenance(O&M) method. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of professional and technical personnel, and the O&M technology of a large number of intelligent heterogeneous secondary equipment is complicated and challenging to maintain. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the problems of O&M efficiency, timeliness and technical complexity of a large number of substations. Based on the service-oriented idea, this article has designed the overall structure of the trinity of service management center, O&M center and O&M substation. This paper also proposes a GSP-based service standardization interaction mechanism. Through Safety management and control process of O&M service, O&M advanced applications are designed to achieves the automation equipment specification, safe and reliable remote operation and maintenance.

As a concept proposed by the new generation dispatching and control system, pre-dispatch is a control method for accurately adapting to situation changes and operational risks of power grid operation in the future. Regarding the problem of power system security assessment under pre-dispatch, this paper proposes a multi-snapshot grid operating risk points screening method. Three models based on optimal power flow are employed for power flow analysis after the power grid operating status changes, then the power grid operation trend data is obtained. And after initial risk screening, possible operating risk points are obtained to form a risk data set. The proposed model is tested in the IEEE39-node system. The risk data sets screened by the three models are identical, which confirms the validity of the proposed model. The proposed method for screening operating risk points can provide dispatchers with a wide range of online auxiliary decision support.

Power transformer is the most imperative and crucial equipment in electrical power system. Accurately monitoring the occurrence of transformer faults and rapidly isolating the faults are of great significance to ensure the reliability of power supply and avoid serious damage to the transformer. There are many methods used in the transformer to monitor transformer running state. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of transformer turn-to-turn fault and inrush current identification methods based on electrical information, and expounds the systematic research content that needs to be carried out for transformer turn-to-turn fault identification methods based on magnetic flux leakage information.
