Conventional LCC-HVDC is a non-linear, tightly coupled system. Since the performance of PI control varies from different operation conditions, the optimal of parameter tuning is only achieved under steady state. To improve dynamic performance and stability of system, A novel HVDC nonlinear supplementary controller based on Terminal sliding mode theorem has been proposed. First, the steady state mathematical model of the LCC-HVDC system is built, the approach of state feedback exact linearization is adopted to change the nonlinear model into a linear one, the decoupled relationship between the control variables are investigated;then based on sliding mode control method, the constant current and constant voltage control in rectifier and inverter has been achieved, respectively. The variables converge to equilibrium point fast and exactly. Finally, the strategy is demonstrated through Matlab/Simulink software, the simulation results show that the controller is capable of tracing the reference, and the robustness with respect to parameters' perturbations is satisfied. The controller contributes significantly toward improving transient performance comparing to conventional PI control and restraining commutation failure. © 2018 IEEE.

To investigate the effect of fluorination on surface electrical performance of ethylene propylene rubber(EPR),four pieces of EPR specimens are prepared and fluorinated for different duration ranging from 120 min to 480 *** surface morphology and element compositions of experimental specimens are *** surface potential decay and complex permittivity are *** tracking discharge property and the erosion properties after tracking test are *** surface charge transport and electrical property tailoring mechanism are *** results show that when the fluorination duration is from 120 min to 360 min,the surface morphology gradually becomes flat and compact with time,and the surface resistance to electrical tracking is *** an excessive fluorination with the duration of 480 min leads to a significant increase in surface conductivity and a weakening in the resistance to electrical tracking,which is mainly due to a change in surface *** recommended fluorination duration for an optimised surface property is between 240 and 360 min for EPR specimen.

The security and stability control system (SSCS) is the second line of defense for prevention of security breach and control of power systems in China. With the development of smart grid technologies, it has been becoming more complex with an increasing trend of reliability requirements. In this paper, a typical application of SSCS in the power grid and its optimized design for ensuring its correct action are introduced. The Markov process model is developed to evaluate the availability of the proposed SSCS. The concept and algorithm of integrity for the SSCS are proposed with the consideration of equipment availability and functional reliability. Combined with the conclusion of the integrity calculation, useful suggestions for the design of SSCS are provided.

近年来，混合多端直流输电系统快速发展。但是，在混合直流系统中应用的电压源换流器（voltage-source converter, VSC）出口不再需要直流滤波器。此外，考虑到其直流故障电流可被换流器自身有效抑制，直流线路两端也不再需要安装限流电抗器。这意味着线路两端边界缺失，导致应用于常规高压直流输电（line commutated converter based high-voltage direct current, LCC-HVDC）系统和柔性直流（VSC-HVDC）电网的单端量保护均无法适用于混合多端直流输电系统。为此，本文提出了一种适用于混合多端直流输电系统的单端量保护新原理，该方法主要基于暂态信息和主动注入思想实现故障辨识。与应用于LCCHVDC和VSC-HVDC系统的单端量保护相比，所提方法无需依赖线路两端的边界元件，因此更加适用于混合多端直流系统。大量的仿真算例充分验证了所提方法的可行性和优越性。

PWM rectifiers are widely used in the field of new energy power generation. The study of small signal impedance modeling of PWM rectifier is helpful to analyze the stability of new energy grid connected impedance. In this paper, the small-signal impedance model of the PWM rectifier is first established, and then the impedance model of the PWM rectifier is scanned through MATLAB using the impedance sweep method, and compared with the analytical expressions in this paper, the accuracy of the impedance model of PWM rectifier established in this paper is verified.

Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional security chip data transmission, a method of security chip data transmission based on command control word is proposed. The method divides the read command mode and write command mode of the security chip files into two kinds of representation methods. The read command and write command of the security chip files are transmitted by different data transmission methods. In the control word of read and write command mode of security chip files, the read and write commands of security chip files are transmitted in four ways: plaintext, ciphertext, plaintext + MAC and ciphertext + MAC. The properties of prohibit adding and updating are added to the writing command control word of security chip files. In the control word of read command and write command of security chip files, define the permissions that read command and write command operation need to satisfy. © 2019 IEEE.

In combined cooling heating and power system, the gas-steam combined cycle is gradually used more and more. The common operation mode in CCHP is mainly to determine heat by electricity and heat by electricity. This paper defines an index indicator and analyzes the difference between the two operating modes in different intervals through the system energy supply interval chart, finally analyzes the difference in the indicators between the two operating modes through the actual load method. It is concluded that in winter operating conditions, the following the thermal load (FTL) operation mode is better; in summer operating conditions, the indicator of following the electric load (FEL) is better; during the transition season, the value of PEC is better in the case of following the thermal load.

To better mine the effective information contained in massive data and improve the accuracy of short-term load forecasting, this paper proposes a hybrid model based on convolutional neural network and long short-term memory network (CNN-LSTM) for short-term load forecasting (STLF), which takes massive historical load data, meteorological data, date information, and peak-valley electric price data as input by constructing continuous feature maps with time sliding window. Convolutional neural network (CNN) is used to extract features and reshape them into vectors. The feature vectors are constructed in temporal and fed into long short-term memory network (LSTM) which is used to predict STLF. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to predict STLF using deep learning in both spatial and temporal domains. It is shown that the forecasting accuracy can be notably improved by CNN-LSTM hybrid model method. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through extensive comparison studies on a real-world dataset.

A trend in nowadays data centers is that equipped with SSD, HDD, etc., heterogeneous storage devices are widely deployed to meet diverse demands of various big data workloads. Since the reading performance of various storage devices are quite different, traditional concurrent data fetching easily incurs unbalanced use among devices. As a result, the straggler in terms of the data fetching, derived from the unbalanced use, directly increases the overall latency of data analytics. To avoid such unbalanced use on fetching large volume of data concurrently from storage devices, we formulate Workload-Aware Scheduling problem for Heterogeneous storage devices (WASH), the goal of which is to minimize the maximum data fetching time for parallel data analytical tasks. We design a randomized algorithm (rWASH) to select a proper source device for each task based on delicate calculated probabilities, which can be proved concentrated on its optimum with high probability. Extensive experiments show that rWASH reduces the average data fetching time for tasks by up to 55% over the state-of-the-art algorithms.

Combined heat and power (CHP) can simultaneously produce electrical and thermal energy. CHP is an important and main component of the power system in areas with heat demand. However, its operating mode limits the flexibility of the system and aggravates the waste of renewable energy. This paper presents a coordinate dispatch algorithm for electric heating integrated energy system (EHIES), a combined heat and power system with wind power. An efficient optimization algorithm based on dynamic programming (DP) is developed, which overcomes the challenges of solving high dimensional optimization problems for the EHIES. The results of simulation experiments show that the proposed coordinate dispatch algorithm can meet the scheduling time requirements, reduce the operating cost of the system and realize the full consumption of wind power.
