The load of user level integrated energy system changes rapidly and it is difficult to predict accurately. Therefore, a day ahead load forecasting method of integrated energy system based on multi-model combination was proposed. Firstly, the long short-term memory (LSTM) network model, convolutional neural network (CNN) model and harmony search (HS) optimized light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM) model were established. Then, the inverse root mean square error method (IRMSE) was used to combine the forecasting results of the three models to obtain the final forecasting value. The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by the actual data of an integrated energy system. The results show that the proposed method is superior to the single prediction model and the simple average combination model, and has the best prediction accuracy for electric, cooling and heat loads. © The Authors.

Filters are key equipment in LCC-HVDC projects. It filters out characteristic harmonics generated by the converter and prevents the effect of harmonics generated by converters on the AC power grid. Currently, most DC transmission projects use passive filters. Recently, the concept of integrated energy distribution system (IEDS) has gained popularity both in academia and industry, it is characterized by the comprehensive integration of multi-energy carriers and flexible utilization of available resources including distribution generations (DGs). However, the stability problem caused by the intermittency of renewable energy and uncertainties of energy demands are among the main concerns that need to be regulated properly. To address this issue, a novel method of tie-line power optimization is proposed in this paper, where the synergies among various energy sectors are stressed. The model of regional energy station (RES) is studied to provide the model basis, which can be regarded as the coupling link of electric power system (EPS) and natural gas system (NGS). In this regard, the flexibility of energy conversion and dispatch can be utilized as a kind of controllable resources for the sake of tie-line power optimization. Therefore, the tie-line power can be regulated in a flexible way in response to the control signal from the dispatch center. Verified by numerical studies, the results show the efficiency and applicability of the proposed strategy.

SSCS plays the essential role in power grid operation to ensure the control reliability and effectivity. Due to the power system becomes more complex, it is inevitable to improve the simulation technology for SSCS. Thus, a digital-physical hybrid simulation platform for SSCS is required. In this paper, the requirements of the digital-physical hybrid simulation platform are analyzed and focus on the design of communication schemes for digital-physical hybrid simulation. IEC61850 and Aurora based communication technical roadmaps are proposed for the communication between RTDS and DSSCHP. Also, two options are available for the communication between SSCDs and DSSCHP.

Energy storage station (ESS) and wind farm (WF) have the potential to serve as a black-start sources to accelerate the power system restoration after blackout. However, the voltage security problem when start the auxiliary machines of power plants limit their reliability as black-start sources. A voltage control method is proposed for ESS and WF combined black-start sources to improve the voltage security during black-start. Firstly, the black-start process based on grid-forming ESS and WF is presented, and the voltage control framework is established. Then, a predictive control method considering the impact of active power on voltage variations is proposed, in which different optimization modes are established to obtain the active and reactive control sequences for WF and ESS. Finally, black-start simulation with Matlab/Simulink demonstrate the proposed method can improve the voltage security level when starting auxiliary machines of power plants. © 2024 IEEE.

A large amount of texts recorded in Chinese exist in power grid enterprises. These texts contain abundant information of power system. Manually mining the text information is inefficient and the accuracy may vary with different dispatchers. In this paper, the power fault countermeasure text is taken as the object to study the power Chinese text information extraction method. Power texts are segmented firstly based on the nature language process (NLP), the ontology lexicon is established according to the power word attribute in the power fault countermeasure text;Based on the syntax structure characteristics of punctuations and the concept of separate parsing phrase are brought in to guide the division of long texts, which can separate the sentence with only one power entity and its related information;The syntax rule template applicable to the separate parsing phrase is established based on the meta-character templates (generalization slot, fixed word-combination, wildcard character, and registry function) used for the power fault preplan text information extraction and the structured output of that information;At last, the generalization ability and the universality of the template are analyzed. Examples show that the rule template applies to the information extraction of most texts with strong universality and high accuracy. © 2018 IEEE.

A large amount of fault countermeasure texts are used to guide fault handing operations in power dispatching systems. This paper transforms the identification problem of fault countermeasure disposal text into a classification problem for identifying the content of text, understanding the meaning of text and building an intelligent power grid fault handling automation system. Firstly, the characteristics of fault countermeasure text are analyzed, and the text is preprocessed according to the characteristics and classification requirements. (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) TF-IDF is used to analyze and extract and vectorize the features of words and word strings in text, then concatenated feature vectors are used to vectorize the text. classification models are built based on a variety of machine learning methods. Examples show that the feature extraction method taking TF-IDF of word string into consideration is superior to word TF-IDF, and the classification effects of different machine learning methods are compared. The examples also show that the ensemble machine learning classification model has better classification effect than the single classifier, and can identify the text of fault countermeasure disposal more accurately and efficiently. © 2018 IEEE.

The visual background extraction algorithm (ViBe) uses the first frame of the video as the initial frame to initialize the background model. If the initial frame of the background model has a moving object or the state of the moving object changes (from still to motion or from motion to still) or the update rate of the background model is not synchronized with the background variability, there will be false target which is known as ghost. Aiming at this problem, a discriminant method based on histogram similarity measure of foreground region and neighborhood background region is proposed. The algorithm can detect ghost regions from the moving area. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional algorithm, the improved algorithm can effectively remove the ghost of foreground detection, and the detection of the object is more accurate.

The substation has the features of a large quantity and wide-area distribution. With the promotion of unattended mode, it has become increasingly difficult to adapt to the needs of smart grid development using traditional field-based automatic equipment operation and maintenance(O&M) method. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of professional and technical personnel, and the O&M technology of a large number of intelligent heterogeneous secondary equipment is complicated and challenging to maintain. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the problems of O&M efficiency, timeliness and technical complexity of a large number of substations. Based on the service-oriented idea, this article has designed the overall structure of the trinity of service management center, O&M center and O&M substation. This paper also proposes a GSP-based service standardization interaction mechanism. Through Safety management and control process of O&M service, O&M advanced applications are designed to achieves the automation equipment specification, safe and reliable remote operation and maintenance.
