The promotion and application of electric vehicles can effectively alleviate environmental pollution and fuel shortages. However, when a large-scale electric vehicle is connected to the power system, it brings the risk of cyber-attacks during the massive data communication process. If the cyber-attack in the data transmission process cannot be effectively detected for safety, the charging behavior will not be controlled correctly and effectively. The safe operation of cyber-physical power systems will take great risks. Therefore, the cybersecurity risks that may exist when electric vehicles are connected to the cyber-physical power system are analyzed in this article. Firstly, based on the communication structure of large-scale electric vehicles connected to the cyber-physical power system, the potential safety hazards in the information communication network of electric vehicles are analyzed. Exploring the possible cyber-attacks during the information interaction to discover the risks to the power grid caused by malicious cyber-attacks of electric vehicles. Thus, it provides the foundation for the study of power grid stability control methods and escorts the further development of the smartgrid.

With the further increase in power demand for highly concentrated load centers and the gradual formation of a power system with a high proportion of new energy sources, China will face severe risk of voltage instability. In this paper, firstly, the load bus voltage equation of simple Thevenin equivalent system is derived, and then the P-V and V-Q curves are obtained respectively. Secondly, the mutual restriction relationship between active and reactive power of load is discussed when there is a real value solution to the voltage. Finally, the relationship between the voltage of critical points of the P-V curves and the reactive power of the load, and the relationship between the voltage of critical points of the V-Q curves and the active power of the load are deduced respectively. The relationship of one-to-one correspondence between critical points of P-V curves and critical points of V-Q curves is proved according to the mutual restriction between active power and reactive power of load and monotonicity of critical voltage and load power function.

As a concept proposed by the new generation dispatching and controlsystem, pre-dispatch is a control method for accurately adapting to situation changes and operational risks of power grid operation in the future. Regarding the problem of power system security assessment under pre-dispatch, this paper proposes a multi-snapshot grid operating risk points screening method. Three models based on optimal power flow are employed for power flow analysis after the power grid operating status changes, then the power grid operation trend data is obtained. And after initial risk screening, possible operating risk points are obtained to form a risk data set. The proposed model is tested in the IEEE39-node system. The risk data sets screened by the three models are identical, which confirms the validity of the proposed model. The proposed method for screening operating risk points can provide dispatchers with a wide range of online auxiliary decision support.

The modular multilevel converter-based high voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) overhead lines transmission scheme is the preferred option for wind power integration, though it is susceptible to DC faults. To ensure the connection of a wind farm (WF) to the grid during DC faults, this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for DC fault ride-through (FRT) based on the energy storage system configured inside the WF for wind power integration through a bipolar MMC-HVDC. In the case of an instantaneous DC fault, the non-fault pole is regulated to operate at full power state to maximise wind power transmission. The exceedance of available wind power outputs over the transmission capacity of the non-fault pole is then accurately allocated to the internal energy storage units (ESUs) of wind generators (WGs) in order to ensure the power balance of the system and reduce the state of charge variance of ESUs as soon as possible. In order to reduce the energy capacities of ESUs required to store the excessive wind power in the event of a permanent DC fault, the method of step-by-step removing WGs is adopted to ensure the system power remaining balanced when the internal ESUs of the disconnected WGs are out of operation. The model is developed and carried out on the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies.
