With the increase in power system load, the number of switch cabinets increases rapidly, and the accidents caused by DC operating circuits become more and more obvious. Abnormal detection has become an important part of the DC operating circuit. Abnormal data, mainly voltage measurement, often contain important information. Finding and analyzing these abnormal data can give early warning for circuit failure or failure. However, abnormal data is often difficult to obtain and lacks marks, that is, the problem of sample imbalance and unsupervised problems, resulting in abnormal detection methods that can not meet the increasing accuracy and efficiency requirements. Generative adversarial network (GAN) is an unsupervised deep learning model, which has been successfully applied to unsupervised time series anomaly detection. However, GAN has technical difficulties in the anomaly detection process, and there is still room for optimization in accuracy. In this paper, the unsupervised time series anomaly detection method based on GAN is studied, and an anomaly detection method of a DC operating circuit combined with LSTM and GAN is designed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Microstrip antenna as a kind of receiver front-end equipment of microwave energy transmission system, which plays an important role on the overall transmission efficiency of the system. Conventional solid metal antennas have poor mechanical properties and are susceptible to plastic deformation and cracks under external forces, which will degrade their performance. Gallium-indium alloy (EGaIn), which is liquid at room temperature, has similar electrical properties to copper and can recover itself after bending, which can make up for the shortcoming of solid-state antennas;Polyethylene naphthalate two formic acid glycol ester (PEN) is an organic polymer material, which has similar electrical properties and superior mechanical properties to conventional materials. Based on the above two materials, this paper proposes a microstrip antenna array based on flexible materials, which can endure a wide range of mechanical deformation and has better ductility and mechanical toughness. The simulation results indicate that the proposed antenna array can operate at 2.45 Hz and achieve 90% efficiency of conventional antennas, which can better meet the demand of microwave energy transmission. © 2023, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. With the increase of single-phase devices and loads in the power system, the three-phase unbalance problem of the low voltage distribution network is more serious. Besides, the intermittency and volatility of renewable energy increase system uncertainty. To address this issue, this paper proposes a phase switch device placement model for the low voltage distribution network with renewable energy sources. The proposed model combines network reconfiguration and phase switch device to mitigate the three-phase unbalance. Considering the uncertainty of loads and renewable energy output, the proposed model is formulated as a mixed integer linear programming model based on stochastic programming, which can be solved by general commercial solvers and find the global optimal solution. The effectiveness of the proposed model is validated on the IEEE 13 node test feeder. The results show that the proposed model can significantly mitigate the three-phase unbalance of low voltage distribution network. © 2022 IEEE.

At present, the generation units in the frequency modulation market in China has entered the market-oriented operation, while the market-oriented operation of the load side resources has not been started. This paper presents a mechanism design and system application of load side frequency modulation resources participating in frequency modulation auxiliary service market. Firstly, it analyzes the key mechanisms such as declaration, transaction clearing and settlement in the frequency modulation market. Secondly, the operation mechanism of load side regulation resources after participating in frequency modulation market and the operation interaction process with power market are designed. Then, build the clearing model of load side resources participating in frequency modulation auxiliary service market, and jointly clear the power market and frequency modulation market. Taking the provincial power system of frequency modulation auxiliary service market as an example, the relationship between frequency modulation auxiliary service market system and other systems is discussed. Through the market mechanism, the comprehensive optimization operation of the power grid is carried out, and the reserve capacity of the frequency modulation is effectively configured so as to achieve the goal of the lowest operating cost. © 2022 IEEE.

Flexible interconnection of low-voltage distribution station area with power electronic device can realize dynamic capacity increase and coordination. When three-phase four-leg converter is used as a flexible interconnection device, there is no need to the isolation transformer, which can reduce the volume and cost of the system, but it will generate circulating current on the ground line. According to the main circuit topology of the system, the average circuit model of ground circulating current is established, and the influencing factors of ground circulating current are deduced. The low-frequency circulating current suppression strategy based on the average duty cycle control of the fourth leg and the high-frequency circulating current suppression method based on the DC side common mode inductor are proposed respectively for the low frequency and high frequency components of the ground circulating current. Finally, the simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed average circuit model and the suppression method.

The system dynamics is an effective tool to study the internal evolution mechanism of a system. In this paper, a distinct ownership interaction causal loop diagram of the distribution network is established by sorting out the relationship chain between distributed PV, distributed gas units, distributed energy storage, distribution company and residents. The distinct ownership co-evolution model of distribution network is further established, and the boundary conditions of distributed power supply construction of distribution network are obtained by analyzing the distribution network test case. The effective path to achieve the dual carbon target is verified. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to its different characteristics from traditional synchronous generator, grid-forming converter (GFM-converter) affects the transient characteristics of the system when it is linked to the power grid. The mathematical model of the GFM-converter is built to describe its dynamic characteristics. Then, the transient process of the GFM-converter is analyzed qualitatively with the power-angle curve. The phase diagram method is used to study quantitatively and verify the validity of the above qualitative analysis. Finally, the influence of virtual inertia JGFM on the transient response is analyzed. In the case that equilibrium point exists after fault, decreasing virtual inertia improves the transient stability of the GFM-converter by increasing the damping ratio. When the equilibrium point does not exist after fault, the increase of JGFM reduces the virtual power angle at the time of fault clearing, and the power imbalance degree of the GFM-converter is reduced, thus its transient stability performance is improved. © 2022 IEEE.

The dynamic equivalent of large power grid needs to calculate the dynamic aggregation of equivalent generator parameters for a given synchronous units group. In this paper, the weighted aggregation method commonly used in engineering is reviewed, and the deficiency of capacity weighting method is pointed out, then a direct parameters calculation method for dynamic equivalent generator based on EEAC and the unit-grid phasor diagram is proposed. Its key techniques are to using the complementary-cluster center-of-inertia relative motion transformation (CCCOI-RM) provided by the EEAC method, the initial value of the power angle for corresponding equivalent generator of the coherent generators group at the fault moment is calculated, and the impedance parameters of the equivalent generator are solved step by step by different forms of unit-grid phasor equations according to the feature that the power angle cannot be changed abruptly before and after the fault moment. Compared with the weighted aggregation calculation method, the proposed method is simpler and has a clearer physical concept. Simulation results based on the real power grids verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The magnetic coupler is the core component of the wireless charging system. Its magnetic parameters have a significant effect on transmission performance. However, the current analytical models used for multi-objective optimization design are inadequate with poor calculation accuracy, leading to challenges in achieving comprehensive multi-objective optimal. This paper proposes an efficient fitness function modeling method for multi-objective optimization based on the deep belief network (DBN), enhancing both the design accuracy and optimization speed. Firstly, a three-dimensional magnetic circuit model is developed to consider the coil, magnetic core, and aluminum plate. Secondly, a loss correlation model of the magnetic coupler is established. Thirdly, the deep belief network (DBN) regression is utilized to obtain an accurate fitness characterization function. Finally, the fractional particle swarm optimization (FPSO) is applied to achieve the Pareto optimal solution of the magnetic coupler's design parameters. In this work, the WPTI rectangular coil is taken as an illustrative example. An optimized design with a coupling coefficient of 0.23, transmission efficiency of 97.5%, and a weight of 9.6 kg is selected for experimental verification. The results demonstrate that the predicted values match the measurements with an error less than 5%. © 2023 IEEE.

power semiconductor devices are the essential core components of modern power electronic equipment. Predicting the remaining useful life (RUL) of power semiconductor devices can help formulate reasonable maintenance strategies for power electronic equipment, thereby improving the availability of energy conversion systems. This article proposes a deep learning method for predicting the RUL of power semiconductor devices, which uses on-state resistance as a critical state parameter. A long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network (NN) model and a convolutional neural network (CNN) model are used to predict the on-state resistance time series data trend. NN models can predict a short section of future data with past data input. The RUL of power semiconductor devices is estimated through curve fitting based on past and predictive data. The proposed method is validated using the power MOSFET accelerated aging dataset from NASA, and the validation results show that the performance of the proposed method is superior to that of existing methods, such as extended Kalman filtering (EKF) and particle filtering (PF). © 2023 IEEE.
