Microstrip antenna as a kind of receiver front-end equipment of microwave energy transmission system, which plays an important role on the overall transmission efficiency of the system. Conventional solid metal antennas have poor mechanical properties and are susceptible to plastic deformation and cracks under external forces, which will degrade their performance. Gallium-indium alloy (EGaIn), which is liquid at room temperature, has similar electrical properties to copper and can recover itself after bending, which can make up for the shortcoming of solid-state antennas;Polyethylene naphthalate two formic acid glycol ester (PEN) is an organic polymer material, which has similar electrical properties and superior mechanical properties to conventional materials. Based on the above two materials, this paper proposes a microstrip antenna array based on flexible materials, which can endure a wide range of mechanical deformation and has better ductility and mechanical toughness. The simulation results indicate that the proposed antenna array can operate at 2.45 Hz and achieve 90% efficiency of conventional antennas, which can better meet the demand of microwave energy transmission. © 2023, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Spiromesifen (SPM) is widely used for orchard mites and white fly control. The ecotoxicological data suggested that SPM is highly toxic to fish, but the information about its toxic effect on zebrafish is still obscure. In this study, adult zebrafish were exposed to SPM for 21 days. The plasma sex steroid hormone levels reflected the ratio of 17β-estradiol (E2) to testosterone (T) (E2/T) was significantly increased at 0.50 μg/L of SPM in male fish (2.4-fold, p = 0.049). Following 21 days' post exposure, distinct pathological changes were noted in gonad, males were more sensitive than female, which showed the interstitial connective tissue hyperplasia and widener in testis at 15 μg/L of SPM. In male fish, the relative percentage of spermatozoa was 13% decreased at 30 μg/L of SPM (p = 0.041). Which suggest SPM potential role in disrupting male gonad development. qRT-PCR results suggest that expression of follicle stimulating hormone receptor (fshr) was significantly down regulated in female zebrafish (0.29 fold of control, p = 0.010). Variable importance of projection (VIP) scores indicate the most important features separate in female and male. The different response of steroid level towards SPM between male and female zebrafish may due to the distinct regulation of key genes related in steroidogenesis and metabolism. This study for the first time connects the biochemical and histological to reveal the adverse effects of SPM on adult zebrafish in a sex dependent manner. © 2024 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

The 2019 Refinement to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories added the method of assimilating atmospheric CO_(2) concentrations to invert carbon sources and sinks;however,many global carbon inversion models are not publicly *** addition,our regional assimilation inversion system,CCMVS-R(China Carbon Monitoring,Verification and Supporting for Regional),needs a global carbon inversion model with higher assimilation efficiency to provide boundary ***,an inversion model based on the global atmospheric chemistry model GEOS-Chem and a more accurate and easier-to-implement ensemble square root Kalman filter(EnSRF)algorithm is constructed and used to infer global and China's carbon fluxes in *** CO_(2) concentrations from ObsPack sites and five additional CO_(2) observational sites from China's Greenhouse Gas Observation Network(CGHGNET)were used for data assimilation to improve the *** inverted annual global terrestrial and oceanic carbon uptake is 2.12 and 2.53 Pg C per year,respectively,accounting for 21.1%and 25.1%of global fossil fuel CO_(2) *** remaining 5.41 Pg C per year in the atmosphere is consistent with the global atmospheric CO_(2) growth rates of 5.44 Pg C per year reported by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA),showing that the inversion model can provide a reasonable estimate of global-scale natural carbon *** inverted terrestrial carbon sink of China is 0.37 Pg C per year,accounting for approximately 13%of China's fossil CO_(2) emissions.

Residue behaviors and dietary risk assessment of dinotefuran and its metabolites in Lycium barbarum from farm to fork

Lycium barbarum， known as wolfberry or goji berry， is consumed by humans as a medicine and a food homology product. Conventionally grown wolfberry is often treated extensively with pesticides， which could pose a hazard to humans. Here， the degradation dynamics of dinotefuran and its two metabolites (UF and DN)， during wolfberry cultivation and processing was investigated. The half-life (T1/2) of dinotefuran was 11.36 d and 9.12 d， respectively， under the recommended dosage and double the recommended dosage. During the oven and sun drying processes， processing factors (PFs) of dinotefuran were 1.07 - 1.34， implying the enrichment of pesticide residues. Decoction process made the removal rate of dinotefuran reach 87.48%， which is higher than that of the brewing process (14.7%)， while dinotefuran remained in the wine with high ethanol content in the alcohol soaking process. The hazard quotient (HQ) of dinotefuran， as determined via dietary risk assessment combined with PFs， was < 1， indicating an acceptable risk for human consumption. Bioaccessibility of dinotefuran in the three digestive stages were intestinal (18.20% - 88.08%) > gastric (5.45% - 86.72%) > oral (23.18%) via in vitro simulated digestive system. These findings provide scientific evidence for reasonable application and risk assessment of dinotefuran residues in wolfberry.

Probabilistic Power Flow Optimization of Source-Network-Load-Storage in Ac/Dc Systems Based on SOC Characteristics

As the uncertainty of both sources and loads in the power system increases, energy storage systems (ESS) as regulation resources has been widely used, and quantitative power flow optimization calculations are no longer suitable for new power system. In this paper, an uncertain power and load model is constructed, which utilizes probability attributes to convert variables into quantitative variables and takes into account the uncertainty correction of users' response to the time of use electricity price on the load side. Build an ESS model considering state of Charge (SOC), and divide the operating states. Based on the source-load-energy storage configuration, a power flow model for the AC/DC system containing VSC converters is established. Using the minimum economic cost and minimum loss of the system, as well as the minimum voltage deviation of the line, as evaluation indicators, a penalty function is introduced to establish a multi-objective optimization model for source-generation-transmission-load-energy storage. Conduct extensive simulation calculations on the probability optimized power flow model of the improved IEEE 30 node system. The results show that after the statistical model of source network load storage is optimized, the evaluation index is improved, and the capacity change and state switching of ESS are optimized. © 2023, The Authors. The metal release and transformation mechanisms of V–Ti magnetite tailings: Role of the alternate flooding and drying cycles and organic acids

V–Ti magnetite tailings (VTMTs) contain various heavy metals, such as Fe, Mn, V, Co, and Ni. The groundwater pollution caused by the tailing metal release has become a local environmental concern. Although studies have demonstrated the influence of alternate flooding and drying cycles (FDCs) on metal form and mobility in minerals, little was known about whether FDCs affect the metal release of VTMTs and the transformation of released metals. This study investigated the metal release kinetics of VTMTs and the metal transformation under FDCs in the absence and presence of acid rain (sulfuric and nitric acids) and bio-secreted organic acids (acetic, oxalic, and citric acids). The results showed that FDCs promoted metal release whether or not acids were present. The maximum released concentrations of V, Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni were as high as 78.63 mg L−1,1.47 mg L−1, 67.96 μg L−1, 1.34 mg L−1, and 0.80 mg L−1, respectively, under FDCs and citric acids. FDCs enhanced the tailing metal release by increasing the metal labile fraction proportion. However, the concentrations of released Fe, Mn, V, Co, and Ni all gradually decreased due to their (co-)precipitation. These precipitates conversely inhibited the subsequent mineral dissolution by covering the tailing surface. FDCs also enhanced the tailings’ porosities by 2.94%–9.94%. The mineral dissolution, expansion and shrinkage, and changes in tension destroyed the tailing microstructure during FDCs. This study demonstrated the low metal pollution risk of VTMTs under FDCs, either in acid rain or bio-secreted organic acids. However, the increase in tailing porosity should be seriously considered as it would affect the tailing pond safety. © 2024

Local Outlier Factor Based Condition Monitoring for Sub-Module Capacitors in Modular Multilevel Converters

Modular multilevel converters (MMC) as a key technology for future power grids is rapidly developing. The failure rate of sub-module (SM) capacitors is only lower than that of power devices in MMC, so accurate evaluation of the reliability of capacitors is crucial for MMC. Both the increase of equivalent series resistance (ESR) and decrease of equivalent series capacitance (ESC) are features for capacitor deteriorating. If the value of ESC drops to a limited value, it indicates that the end of its lifespan and the capacitor must be replaced. Most contemporary research work only focus on ESC and ignore ESR. This article considering the characteristics of both ESC and ESR, proposes a method for monitoring the status of SM capacitors based on machine learning algorithm: local outlier factor (LOF). By utilizing the existing SM switching function and capacitor voltage signals within a fundamental frequency cycle in the control system, the condition of capacitors in each SM can be effectively monitored. The monitoring program can be packaged and embedded into the control system without requiring any additional hardware or control changes, significantly reducing complexity and computational burden. The proposed method is verified by the hybrid MMC model on Matlab/Simulink. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
