With a large number of new energy sources connected to the grid, the inverse peak characteristics of their power generation have brought great difficulties to the grid scheduling. In recent years, energy storage technology has gradually developed and matured, and its dual characteristics of charge and discharge provide a new solution to the problem of new energy consumption. However, the current peak load shifting scheduling problem for energy storage is mainly solved by intelligent optimization algorithm, which has the disadvantage of low solving efficiency and the risk of falling into a local optimal solution. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel scheduling strategy based on computational optimization starting point for energy storage, which can provide an appropriate iterative starting point for intelligent optimization algorithm through the preset process. Compared with the randomly generated starting point, the calculated starting point can make the objective function tend to the extreme value more quickly and stably. Finally, in the case studies part, a system with solar power generation was taken as the example. The energy storage peak load shifting optimization problem was solved by adopting the calculated starting point and the random generated starting point respectively, and the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is proved by comparing the test results. © 2022 IEEE.

The traditional synthesis of nano silver chloride involves chemical precipitation or physical *** to the hazardous substances generated during the synthesis,it can cause environmental *** this study,a green and facile method is described to biosynthesize nano-silver chloride with excellent antibacterial activity via in situ reduction of Ag t using the extract of Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt).Compared with previous reports,the minimal inhibition concentration(MIC)against Escherichia coli(***)is 3.0μg/mL,which is 2–to 800-fold higher than that of nano silver *** in vitro studies involving agricultural bacteria such as Ralstonia solanacearum(***)revealed a 92.95%antibacterial rate when the concentration of nano-silver chloride was 2.0μg/*** studies of antibacterial activity of nano-silver chloride focused more on the basic antibacterial properties without describing its antibacterial molecular *** microscopic investigations and DNA damage experiments indicated that the nano-silver chloride adsorbed to the bacterial surface,leading to cell wall rupture,DNA damage,and cytoplasmic *** addition,electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectroscopy indicated the synthesis of reactive oxygen species(⋅OH,⋅O^(2-) and ^(1)O_(2))in the *** study provides evidence supporting the use of nano-silver chloride as an antibacterial agent in agriculture,and theoretical insight into the antibacterial mechanism thereof.

Contamination characteristics and dietary intake risk of brominated flame retardants in fishes around a typical e-waste dismantling site in Southern China

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and their substitutes, novel brominated flame retardants (NBFRs), are ubiquitously present in the aquatic environment of electronic waste (e-waste) dismantling region, leading to their inevitable absorption and accumulation by aquatic organisms, which can be transferred to human via directly aquatic product consumption or through food chain, thereby posing potential health risks. This study focused on fish samples from Guiyu and its surrounding areas, and found the total PBDEs concentrations were 24–7400 ng/g lw (mean: 1800 ng/g lw) and the total NBFRs concentrations were 14 to 2300 ng/g lw (mean: 310 ng/g lw). Significant positive correlations were found among PBDE congeners, among different NBFRs, and between NBFRs and commercial PBDEs that they replace. ΣPBDEs and ΣNBFRs in the intestine were 620–350,000 and 91–81,000 ng/g lw (mean: 83000 and 12,000 ng/g lw, respectively), significantly exceeding those in the gills, where ΣPBDEs and ΣNBFRs were 14–37,000 and 39–45,000 ng/g lw (mean: 9200 and 2400 ng/g lw, respectively). The ΣPBDEs and ΣNBFRs showed no non-carcinogenic risks to the target population through dietary intake. Despite the significantly higher daily intake of decabromodiphenyl ethane (DBDPE) compared to decabromodiphenyl ether (BDE209), the non-carcinogenic risk associated with BDE209 remained higher than that of DBDPE. Our findings can assist researchers in understanding the presence of BFRs in aquatic organisms, inhabiting e-waste dismantling areas, and in evaluating the associated health risks posed to humans through dietary exposure. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

The rapid development of UHVDC, new energy and power market enhances significantly the uncertainty of power grid. The control strategy of stability control system calculated offline cannot cover the complex and changeable power grid operation situation. A hierarchical closed-loop stability control system is proposed to meet the stability control requirements under multiple and cascading faults, including dispatching center station, coordination control master station and regional control master station The dispatching center integrates natural disaster information to generate high-risk faults and searches online control strategy based on controllable resources acquired by coordination control master station. Coordination control master station stores control strategy of high-risk faults, identify high-risk faults in different places, and issue the control strategy. Regional control master station is responsible for the implementation of high-risk faults control strategy. The analysis results demonstrate that the system can improve the security defense level of power grid. The proposed method is proved to be fast and effective through the analysis of a practical power grid example.

With the development of distributed power generation technologies, parallel operations of virtual synchronous generators (VSGs) and synchronous generators (SGs) become increasingly common in a microgrid. Due to the low overcurrent capacity of VSGs, fault ride-through (FRT) is necessary for microgrids, which makes the transient stability of SG-VSG-based microgrids be different from the traditional power system. In this paper, a new abnormal overcurrent phenomenon caused by FRT is discovered in SG-VSG-based islanded microgrids. Then, characteristics of the output current of the VSG which uses different parameters are compared and analyzed. Furthermore, an optimized FRT method is proposed, which suppresses the abnormal overcurrent. Finally, a simulation is performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method on the PSCAD/EMTDC. © 2021 IEEE

With the rapid development of distribution network automation and the construction of DC distribution network and AC / DC hybrid distribution network, the network operation mode is more flexible. If the distribution network wants to realize rapid load transfer, such as the connection of power supply, upstream and downstream fault isolation signals and other node states need to be quickly identified. At present, the node status identification of distribution automation is basically completed by the master station. However, the master station has poor real-time transmission of status information, which is generally in seconds or minutes, and can not meet the demand of real-time load transfer. In this paper, a distributed real-time transmission method of AC and DC distribution network node status is constructed for distribution automation system. Based on IEC61850 goose communication protocol, the real-time transmission of node status is realized in distribution automation terminal. In this method, the positive direction of each tie switch is defined, which is independent of power flow direction, and the tie switch is distinguished along the user-defined positive direction When multiple tie switches have the same upstream node, they are each other's t nodes. Each tie switch needs to be equipped with a distribution automation terminal with goose communication capability. According to different control strategies, the distribution automation terminal can realize millisecond level node state transmission step by step. Node state can be divided into unconditional transmission state and conditional transmission state. When large-power disturbances occur in power grids, the system frequency will shift greatly, and there may be obvious spatial-temporal distribution characteristics. By analyzing the single-machine frequency response characteristics of the system and the frequency difference between the two systems, a system frequency analysis model considering nonlinear factors under large frequency difference is proposed to estimate the maximum offset of the system frequency. It is proposed to reduce the maximum frequency offset and reduce the frequency spatiotemporal distribution characteristics by selecting the coordination method of emergency control at different locations at different times, thus improving the safety and stability of the power grid. © 2022 IEEE.

Dissolved organic matter(DOM)in soils drives biogeochemical cycling and soil functions in different directions depending on its molecular ***,there is a distinct paucity of information concerning how the molecular signatures of soil DOM vary with different degrees of weathering across wide geographic ***,we resolved the DOM molecular signatures from 22 diverse Chinese reference soils and linked them with soil organic matter and weathering-related mineralogical *** mixed-effects models revealed that the yields of DOM were determined by soil organic carbon content,whereas the molecular signature of DOM was primarily constrained by the weathering-related *** soil weathering index showed a positive effect on the lability and a negative effect on the aromaticity of ***,DOM in highly weathered acidic soils featured more amino sugars,carbohydrates,and aliphatics,as well as less O-rich polyphenols and condensed aromatics,thereby conferring a higher DOM biolability and lower DOM *** study highlights the dominance of the weathering-related dimension in constraining the molecular signatures and potential functions of DOM in soils across a wide geographic scale.

Traveling wave fault location is very important for high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines. The attenuation and distortion of traveling wave in HVDC transmission lines and secondary circuits will have non-ignorable negative impact on traveling wave fault location. In this paper, the attenuation and dispersion characteristics of traveling wave at different fault distance are simulated and analyzed. The further attenuation and distortion of traveling wave in the secondary circuit are studied by physical model. The problems of traveling wave reflection caused by the secondary cable and signal interference caused by strong electromagnetic interference are analyzed. Through the analysis of the whole process of traveling wave propagation and acquisition, the necessity of on-site acquisition of traveling wave signal for HVDC transmission line is proved. In this paper, the system scheme and key technology of on-site acquisition of traveling wave signal for HVDC line are given, and the technical feasibility of this scheme is stated. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Due to the advantages of flexible control, good power quality, and convenient connection to distributed energy, flexible DC distribution networks have become a hot research topic around the world. However, the protection and location technologies for DC distribution networks are one of the main technical difficulties that confine their large-scale application, so it is necessary to overcome these difficulties as a matter of urgency. This paper presents an overall introduction to the research statuses of the fault features, protection principles, and fault location technologies of a DC distribution network. First, the fault features of a flexible DC distribution network are analyzed based on two-level VSC converter and modular multilevel converter. Second, the protection principles and fault location technologies of a DC distribution network as well as the main principles, advantages, and disadvantages of different technologies are analyzed. Third, the outlook for the development of protection and location technologies for a DC distribution network is determined. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
