Change detection(CD)is becoming indispensable for unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),especially in the domain of water landing,rescue and ***,even the most advanced models require large amounts of data for model training and ***,sufficient labeled images with different imaging conditions are *** by computer graphics,we present a cloning method to simulate inland-water scene and collect an auto-labeled simulated *** simulated dataset consists of six challenges to test the effects of dynamic background,weather,and noise on change detection ***,we propose an image translation framework that translates simulated images to synthetic *** framework uses shared parameters(encoder and generator)and 22×22 receptive fields(discriminator)to generate realistic synthetic images as model training *** experimental results indicate that:1)different imaging challenges affect the performance of change detection models;2)compared with simulated images,synthetic images can effectively improve the accuracy of supervised models.

Transforming Vision Transformer: Towards Efficient Multi-Task Asynchronous Learning

Multi-Task Learning (MTL) for Vision Transformer aims at enhancing the model capability by tackling multiple tasks simultaneously. Most recent works have predominantly focused on designing Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) structures and integrating Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) to efficiently perform multi-task learning. However, their rigid combination hampers both the optimization of MoE and the effectiveness of reparameterization of LoRA, leading to sub-optimal performance and low inference speed. In this work, we propose a novel approach dubbed Efficient Multi-Task Learning (EMTAL) by transforming a pre-trained Vision Transformer into an efficient multi-task learner during training, and reparameterizing the learned structure for efficient inference. Specifically, we firstly develop the MoEfied LoRA structure, which decomposes the pre-trained Transformer into a low-rank MoE structure and employ LoRA to fine-tune the parameters. Subsequently, we take into account the intrinsic asynchronous nature of multi-task learning and devise a learning Quality Retaining (QR) optimization mechanism, by leveraging the historical high-quality class logits to prevent a well-trained task from performance degradation. Finally, we design a router fading strategy to integrate the learned parameters into the original Transformer, archiving efficient inference. Extensive experiments on public benchmarks demonstrate the superiority of our method, compared to the state-of-the-art multi-task learning approaches. Distantly supervised relation extraction aims to extract relational facts from texts but suffers from noisy instances. Existing methods usually select reliable sentences that rely on potential noisy labels, resulting in wrongly selecting many noisy training instances or underutilizing a large amount of valuable training data. This paper proposes a sentence-level DSRE method beyond typical instance selection approaches by preventing samples from falling into the wrong classification space on the feature space. Specifically, a theorem for denoising and the corresponding implementation, named Consensus Enhanced Training Approach (CETA), are proposed in this paper. By training the model with CETA, samples of different classes are separated, and samples of the same class are closely clustered in the feature space. Thus the model can easily establish the robust classification boundary to prevent noisy labels from biasing wrongly labeled samples into the wrong classification space. This process is achieved by enhancing the classification consensus between two discrepant classifiers and does not depend on any potential noisy labels, thus avoiding the above two limitations. Extensive experiments on widely-used benchmarks have demonstrated that CETA significantly outperforms the previous methods and achieves new state-of-the-art results. © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. Document-level Relation Extraction (DocRE) aims at extracting relations between entities in a given document. Since different mention pairs may express different relations or even no relation, it is crucial to identify key mention pairs responsible for the entity-level relation labels. However, most recent studies treat different mentions equally while predicting the relations between entities, leading to sub-optimal performance. To this end, we propose a novel DocRE model called key Mention pairs Guided Relation Extractor (KMGRE) to directly model mention-level relations, containing two modules: a mention-level relation extractor and a key instance classifier. These two modules could be iteratively optimized with an EM-based algorithm to enhance each other. We also propose a new method to solve the multi-label problem in optimizing the mention-level relation extractor. Experimental results on two public DocRE datasets demonstrate that the proposed model is effective and outperforms previous state-of-the-art models. © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. With the development of mixed reality technology, the convergence of virtual and real experiences has emerged as a trend in the interactive narratives. In this paper, we introduce "Crossing Narrative", an interactive narrative experience that seamlessly blends virtuality and reality by utilizing real-world views and bystanders. We discuss specific methods for designing cross-reality narrative experience, focusing on three key aspects of cross-reality interactions: diegetic objects, transition effects, and bystander’s avatar. Our design methods aim to enhance audience social interactions and understanding of the immersive narrative. © 2023 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

To elucidate the stresses and deformations occurring during the assembly of the powerhouse fairing, finite element analysis (ABAQUS) was employed to emulate the assembly process. A numerical simulation model was constructed for the assembly process of the weakly rigid composite fairing by digitizing its geometry, material properties, and the forces exerted during assembly. Initially, the geometric data and material parameters of the fairing were meticulously collected and analyzed, considering its weakly rigid composite material properties. Subsequently, the finite element analysis method was utilized to partition the fairing’s geometry into minute regions, thereby establishing a numerical simulation model of the fairing assembly process. During the simulation, various forces acting on the fairing during assembly, such as the binding force of the assembly fixture and mechanical loads, were taken into account. The stress and deformation distributions during the fairing assembly process were derived through numerical simulation of the model. The findings indicate that the overall stiffness distribution law of the weakly rigid composite fairing can be summarized as follows: larger fixed boundaries, smaller applied forces, more rigid materials, and more intricate geometries enhance the overall stiffness of the fairing. © Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics 2025.

Federated learning is a distributed machine learning paradigm designed to protect user data privacy, which has been successfully implemented across various scenarios. In traditional federated learning, the entire parameter set of local models is updated and averaged in each training round. Although this full network update method maximizes knowledge acquisition and sharing for each model layer, it prevents the layers of the global model from cooperating effectively to complete the tasks of each client, a challenge we refer to as layer mismatch. This mismatch problem recurs after every parameter averaging, consequently slowing down model convergence and degrading overall performance. To address the layer mismatch issue, we introduce the FedPart method, which restricts model updates to either a single layer or a few layers during each communication round. Furthermore, to maintain the efficiency of knowledge acquisition and sharing, we develop several strategies to select trainable layers in each round, including sequential updating and multi-round cycle training. Our theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the FedPart method significantly outperforms traditional full-network update strategies, achieving faster convergence, greater accuracy, and reduced communication and computational overhead.

Augmented reality (AR) is a burgeoning interaction technology with the ability to provide users with immersive everyday experiences. Shopping is among the most common experiences. When consumers purchase products, they often encounter difficulties in obtaining detailed information relevant to their interests, such as ingredients, origin, and product comparisons, leading to frustration. This situation can be undeniably frustrating. We can use visualization technology [18] to organize it more orderly and friendly. This paper proposes a mobile augmented reality-based application framework, Product Magic Mirror (PMM), which helps to integrate basic visualization design into the application. The augmented information can be rich, e.g. they can be some visualizations and vivid data videos. In the evaluation, we simulated a goods purchase scene, and applied information to the real world by using AR. The real environment and virtual objects were superimposed on the same screen in real time, so as to achieve an experience beyond reality [24]. In our user survey, users rated our tools as a way to make better shopping choices, giving them a positive score for an immersive shopping experience. We predict that displaying information such as instructions, ingredients, and/or user review information next to products could allow consumers to make better consumption choices while reducing decision time and making shopping more immersive. © 2023 ACM.

Children's dread of the dark at night is a common occurrence as they develop, but if we disregard their worries without taking action, then they will develop a phobia of the dark, which will negatively impact their future. This study investigates the use of VR games in the prevention and treatment of dark phobia in youngsters. The majority of VR research, though, is not entirely appropriate for treating psychiatric disorders in young patients. We therefore invited children and their stakeholders to explore solutions to this issue in order to better grasp the issues and needs of treating children's phobia of darkness. In this paper, we develop a VR game for the prevention and treatment of dark phobia for children aged 4 to 6 years by engaging children and their stakeholders personally in our research to understand the design requirements and elements. Our research seeks to offer fresh design concepts for the VR treatment of mental illness in children between the ages of 4 and 6. © 2023 Owner/Author.
