Precipitation hardening maraging steels possess of great importance with attractive properties in various industrial applications. However, a major confusion about the fine precipitate evolutions and the relationships between the strengthened particles and mechanical properties of PH13-8Mo steels under various heat treatment conditions remains to be further investigated. To shed light on the direct relationships between the fine nano-phase and mechanical properties, a combination of thermodynamics predictions and experimental measurements were carried out to model the issues. The investigation results reveal that the coherent NiAl nano-precipitates distributed on the lath-like martensite matrix firstly presented a steady growth and then a significant coarsening of approximately 9 nm at 593 °C for 5 h. The acicular or block-like diffusion-controlled reverted austenite enriched in Ni element with a tendency of growth was clarified, which maintains the K-S orientation relationship with martensite matrix after diverse aging treatments. The current studied PH13-8Mo steel displays comparable mechanical properties despite over-aging conditions, and the sharp drops in hardness and the steady increment in impact energy were systematically examined. The excellent work hardening behaviors of the present steel were modeled, which indicates that the modified Ludwik model displays significantly improved agreement with the experimental data than the widely accepted Hollomon model. The five strengthening mechanism models are discussed and the C-O-M model exhibits high consistency with the experimental data with a value of 652 MPa. The growth of nano-precipitates maybe prohibits the dislocations from cutting the particles, which promotes the hardening behaviors. With the rapid development of supercomputers, the scale and complexity are ever increasing, and the reliability and resilience are faced with larger challenges. There are many important technologies in fault tolerance, such as proacrive failure avoidance technologies based on fault prediction, reactive fault tolerance based on checkpoint, and scheduling technologies to improve reliability. Both qualitative and quantitative descriptions on characteristics of system faults are very critical for these technologies, This study analyzes the source of failures on two typical petascale supercomputers called Sunway BlueLight （based on multi-core CPUs） and Sunway TaihuLight （based on heterogeneous manycore CPUs）. It uncovers some interesting fault characteristics and finds unknown correlation relationship among main components＇ faults. Finally the paper analyzes the failure time of the two supercomputers in various grains of resource and different time spans, and builds a uniform multi-dimensional failure time model for petascale supereomputers.

Since ECG data is highly sensitive medical data, the acquisition of ECG data is highly restricted. However, with the increasing demand for ECG big data research, the improvement of computer computing capabilities, and the development of deep learning, the direction of ECG intelligent analysis is facing a serious lack of standard clinical data. In order to generate more precise ECG data, this paper proposes a GAN architecture for generating ECG heartbeat data. The network structure is simple and does not require any domain knowledge. In this paper, the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database is selected, from which all left bundle branch block heartbeats are selected to form a training dataset. The training process shows that the proposed GAN structure is effective and accurate, and the generated results show that not only the generated simulated ECG heartbeat data is diverse, but also highly similar to the real data.

In Fuzzing facing binary coverage, the main role of instrumentation is feedback code coverage (in the case of Fuzz for binary, instrumentation can provide coverage information, which plays an important role in guiding the operation of seeds in Fuzz) . The current instrumentation optimization technique mainly relies on the control flow graph (CFG) to select key basic blocks at the basic block level, but the accuracy of this method is not high enough. Considering that the actual path in the actual operation of the binary may be different from the CFG generated in advance, this paper is based on the indirect jump that cannot be accurately analyzed in the CFG, and some of the basic blocks that can be optimized for high-frequency interpolation. According to the algorithm proposed in this paper, The combination of static analysis and dynamic analysis is used to continuously adjust and select key basic block nodes for instrumentation. It is verified by experiments that this kind of instrumentation method can effectively improve the coverage rate and reduce the overhead, and provide effective guidance for Fuzzing, which can effectively reduce the Fuzzer's false negatives.

Fuzzing is an effective approach to discover vulnerabilities in software by generating the amount of unexcepted data as inputs to a program. It is difficult to fuzz the protocol automatically because it is necessary to manually construct a template that satisfies the protocol specification to generate test cases. In this paper, we establish stacked seq2seq-attention models to generate protocol test cases automatically. Seq2seq-attention is a machine learning technique which has an encoder-decoder structure to output text sequences based on context. We evaluate the training effect of seq2seq-attention models with different layers of LSTM and point out that the highest correctness of test cases is achieved by 3 layers LSTM. Besides, we implement a fuzzer based on stacked seq2seq attention model and compare with grammar-based fuzzer, which result indicates the test cases generated by our fuzzer discover more unique basic blocks.

Based on the classical PBL teaching method, this paper attempts to construct the question-driven smart classroom of combinatorial mathematics, and shares some teaching experience and experience from the aspects of teaching preparation, teaching implementation and teaching evaluation.

mathematical function is an essential part of numerical program, and it is also the key factor that affects the precision and performance of a program. In the design of mathematical functions, in order to satisfy most application scenarios, it is necessary to correctly round and cover the calculated interval as much as possible. But in certain applications, correct rounding and full coverage of definition domain may not be ***, mathematical functions can be customized according to application requirements to avoid precision waste as well as improve performance. However, manually implementing mathematical functions is a time-consuming and error-prone task. Tools like Metalibm is designed to automatically generate mathematical function code, which is difficult to take advantage of all the mathematical properties of a function and results in the generated code performing slowly than the corresponding mathematical library function. A method of generating variable precision code based on mathematical properties is proposed for the transcendental function in this work. Experiments showed the performance of the proposed method is comparable to Glibc mathematical function.

Efficient Data Valuation Approximation in Federated Learning: A Sampling-based Approach

Federated learning (FL) has emerged as a prominent distributed learning paradigm to utilize datasets across multiple data providers. In FL, cross-silo data providers often hesitate to share their high-quality dataset unless their data value can be fairly assessed. Shapley value (SV) has been advocated as the standard metric for data valuation in FL due to its desirable properties. However, the computational overhead of SV is prohibitive in practice, as it inherently requires training and evaluating an FL model across an exponential number of dataset combinations. Furthermore, existing solutions fail to achieve high accuracy and efficiency, making practical use of SV still out of reach, because they ignore choosing suitable computation scheme for approximation framework and overlook the property of utility function in FL. We first propose a unified stratified-sampling framework for two widely-used schemes. Then, we analyze and choose the more promising scheme under the FL linear regression assumption. After that, we identify a phenomenon termed key combinations, where only limited dataset combinations have a high-impact on final data value. Building on these insights, we propose a practical approximation algorithm, IPSS, which strategically selects high-impact dataset combinations rather than evaluating all possible combinations, thus substantially reducing time cost with minor approximation error. Furthermore, we conduct extensive evaluations on the FL benchmark datasets to demonstrate that our proposed algorithm outperforms a series of representative baselines in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. The question of which resources drive the advantages in quantum algorithms has long been a fundamental challenge. While entanglement and coherence are critical to many quantum algorithms, our results indicate that they do not fully explain the quantum advantage achieved by the Grover search algorithm. By introducing a generalized Grover search algorithm, we demonstrate that the success probability depends not only on the querying number of oracles but also on the coherence fraction, which quantifies the fidelity between an arbitrary initial quantum state and the equal superposition state. Additionally, we explore the role of the coherence fraction in the quantum minimization algorithm, which offers a framework for solving complex problems in quantum machine learning. These findings offer insights into the origins of quantum advantage and open pathways for the development of new quantum algorithms.

Industrial Control System(ICS) testbed is the basis of ICS safety research. In order to build an ICS testbed, it is necessary to have a deep understanding of the current research status. This paper introduced the structure and composition of the typical ICS system. Then it simply analyzed the technical characteristics, system framework and advantages and disadvantages of four types of typical ICS testbeds.
