Machine intelligence is a developing technology which has made its way to various fields of engineering and technology. Robots are slowly being implemented in the field of agriculture, very soon AgriBots are to take over the agricultural fields and be used for various difficult and tiresome tasks involving agriculture. They have become the inevitable future of agriculture. This paper proposes an idea that will help in effective cultivation of vast areas of land left uncultivated or barren. Numerous farmers are dying during hill farming mainly due to falling from heights, which can be reduced by this technological effort. The proposed work will help in cultivation in remote areas and increase green cover as well as help farmers in harsh environments. The Agricultural Aid to Seed Cultivation (AASC) robot will be an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a camera, a digital image processing unit and a seed cultivation unit. A quadcopter is chosen as an aerial vehicle is independent of the form and shape of the ground and is not deterred by these factors while providing high mobility and reliability. The research aims about the new technology which can be suitable for any kind of remote farming.

The development of internet-of-things and mobile application development taking in consideration the increase in number of smart phone users has opened a new horizon for solving one of the significant issues of saving life in case of emergencies. We present a novel intelligent Traffic preemption systems that allows the vehicles to preempt and operate the traffic intersections with the help of mobile devices, in case of emergencies on the way to hospitals in order to reduce the delay and improve the response time. In this paper we discuss the design and implementation of a non-obtrusive, cost efficient and a reliable system that helps in traversing the vehicle easily through a congested traffic intersection via a smooth and fluent path. An Internet of Things ecosystem is developed that can be preempt traffic signals using a mobile application via internet. The web server has to be configured to accept such connections and store the metadata in a database. Authentication measures have been taken in account so that the system is less vulnerable to get misused. The theory, design procedures, and discussions of the system are presented.

A tremendous growth and progress has shown the potential of big data (i.e structured, unstructured and semi-structured) to extract valuable information and do reliable prediction for several industries. Social networking data has created additional opportunities for data scientists and researchers to utilize the data points to advance the predictive and mining models and techniques. However, predictive analysis in field of academics is at its infancy. In this paper, we present a framework to implement a recommender system to improve academic choice process for new students. The framework is based on our ongoing research for Predicting Educational Relevance For an Efficient Classification of Talent (PERFECT Algorithm Engine), that utilizes stochastic probability distribution based modeling. We present an algorithm and math construct to support our work along with providing graphical results for various parameters that help the recommendation and decision process for individuals. We show related study and conclude with future work.

In nanoscale, quantum dot cellular automata (QCA) is one of the most trusted, discussed alternatives which can efficiently replace the CMOS technology. The current article presents the design methodology of reversible 2:1 multiplexer with the help of 2 Dot 1 Electron QCA and presents some formalism regarding the energy optimization of 2 Dot 1 Electron QCA circuits which is applicable to any such circuit. The first formalism estimates the internal energy of electron within QCA cells, whereas the next one estimates the minimum energy requirement to execute any such QCA circuit efficiently. It is established that for any 2 Dot 1 Electron QCA architecture, factors affecting energy computation mostly are the electron quantum number (n) and the intermediate electron quantum number(n1) lying between 1 and (n - 1). The incident energy frequency is found directly related to N (the number of total cells in the architecture) and quadratic function of n and n1, whereas the frequency of dissipated energy is directly related to N and (n2 - 1). The frequency of differential energy is directly proportional to N and quadratic function of n1. Moreover, the relaxation time τ is inversely proportional to N as well as to (n2 - 1). © 2016 Informa UK Limited.

In this paper, needs of trusted IOT application are identified and a methodology is proposed to create a framework "IoTEE" for rapid prototyping of secure, trusted and commercial IOT applications in absence of hardware. This has been done by analysis of requirements of a sample trusted IOT application heartbeat sensor (hbs), classification of bhs services and their decomposition into trusted and non-trusted components. Furthermore, the methodology includes algorithm design for services like registration, authentication, authorization and secure communication in the proposed framework. Detailed operation sequence of the algorithms is also depicted to understand the overall switching scenario between trusted and non-trusted components of application. Finally, a dynamic deployment structure is created to enable and disable the trusted components in the framework.

Background: The sustainable development goals (SDGs) aim to end HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. Understanding the current state of the HIV epidemic and its change over time is essential to this effort. This study assesses the current sex-specific HIV burden in 204 countries and territories and measures progress in the control of the epidemic. Methods: To estimate age-specific and sex-specific trends in 48 of 204 countries, we extended the Estimation and Projection Package Age-Sex Model to also implement the spectrum paediatric model. We used this model in cases where age and sex specific HIV-seroprevalence surveys and antenatal care-clinic sentinel surveillance data were available. For the remaining 156 of 204 locations, we developed a cohort-incidence bias adjustment to derive incidence as a function of cause-of-death data from vital registration systems. The incidence was input to a custom Spectrum model. To assess progress, we measured the percentage change in incident cases and deaths between 2010 and 2019 (threshold >75% decline), the ratio of incident cases to number of people living with HIV (incidence-to-prevalence ratio threshold <0·03), and the ratio of incident cases to deaths (incidence-to-mortality ratio threshold <1·0). Findings: In 2019, there were 36·8 million (95% uncertainty interval [UI] 35·1–38·9) people living with HIV worldwide. There were 0·84 males (95% UI 0·78–0·91) per female living with HIV in 2019, 0·99 male infections (0·91–1·10) for every female infection, and 1·02 male deaths (0·95–1·10) per female death. Global progress in incident cases and deaths between 2010 and 2019 was driven by sub-Saharan Africa (with a 28·52% decrease in incident cases, 95% UI 19·58–35·43, and a 39·66% decrease in deaths, 36·49–42·36). Elsewhere, the incidence remained stable or increased, whereas deaths generally decreased. For business and research oriented works engaging Data Analysis and Cloud services needing qualitative data, many organizations release huge microdata. It excludes an individual's explicit identity marks like name, address and comprises of specific information like DOB, Pin-code, sex, marital status, which can be combined with other public data to recognize a person. This implication attack can be manipulated to acquire any sensitive information from social network platform, thereby putting the privacy of a person in grave danger. To prevent such attacks by modifying microdata, K-anonymization is used. With potentially increasing data, the effective method to anonymize it stands challenging. After series of trails and systematic comparison, in this paper, we propose three best algorithms along with its efficiency and effectiveness. Studies help researchers to identify the relationship between the values of k, degree of anonymization, choosing a quasi-identifier and focus on execution time.

In this paper, the effect of low, middle and high frequency DCT coefficients are investigated onto gray scale image watermarking in terms of imperceptibility and robustness. The performance of Lagrangian twin support vector regression (LTSVR), which was successfully applied on synthetic datasets obtained from UCI repository for various kinds of regression problems by Balasundaram et al. [9], onto image watermarking problem, is validated by embedding and extracting the watermark on different standard and real world images. Also the good learning capability of image characteristics provides the good imperceptibility of the watermark and robustness against several kinds of image processing attacks verifies the high generalization performance of LTSVR. Through the experimental results, it is observed that significant amount of imperceptibility and robustness is achieved using low frequency (LF) DCT coefficients as compared to middle frequency (MF) and high frequency (HF) DCT coefficients as well as state-of-art technique. © 2015 IEEE.
