In furtherance to this, this research work focuses on the role of applying machine learning techniques in predicting the price of Gold using price data along with three macroeconomic variables. Thirteen models were tested in order to determine which of the three models: They also established that among the seven algorithms, namely linear regression, random forest regressor, and gradient boosting regressor, is the most useful in predicting gold price. Gradient Boosting Regressor was the optimized of all to tremendous accuracy with the help of the used algorithm that let it learn complex and non-linear features in the data inputs. They proved that the recent month and year price data, long term moving average and US Dollar Index (DXY) are the variables which affect the gold prices. The results confirm the necessity to include a broad set of economic variables in the model and the information can be reputable and valuable to investors and policy makers. Nevertheless, it could be proposed that future work would try to incorporate more features and even try to apply deep learning as an effort to improve the accuracy of the envisioned predictions.

The sustainable inventory model is a framework designed to ensure manufacturing processes' sustainability while maintaining profitability. During manufacturing, some items may experience degradation, resulting in imperfect goods. Nevertheless, a screening process is implemented to eliminate such items before they reach the consumers. Therefore, it is critical to scrutinize items prone to deterioration thoroughly. Suppliers prioritize trade credit in payments when supplying retailers, necessitating the development of an inventory model that caters to the needs of retailers dealing with imperfect and deteriorating quality items while considering carbon emissions and trade credit as a payment. The study presents numerical illustrations and sensitivity analysis for a better understanding of the model. © 2024 IEEE.

The widespread use of Quick Response (QR) codes has made QR codes an attractive target for cyberattacks, posing a security and privacy concern. Quick Response (QR) codes have revolutionized marketing strategies by providing a fast and efficient way to connect offline and online platforms. However, the security issues arise as the usage of QR codes. This paper introduces an automatic detector that identifies QR code images and lets the user know whether it is malicious or benign. To achieve this, a dataset of 10,000 original and malicious QR code images (both) is taken. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is employed to classify original and malicious codes. Additionally, histogram density analysis is incorporated to enhance feature identification, leading to improved classification accuracy. This paper implemented ResNet50, MobilenetV3 and InceptionV3 CNN models for evaluating the abilities to predict the malicious codes. The InceptionV3 model emerges as the most promising, attaining an accuracy of 98.13%, offering an efficient and accurate solution for document forensics and counterfeit detection.

The Recommender systems, also known as recommendation engines are a relatively new but extremely indemand machine learning application being extensively used by websites. They achieve the function of a highly intelligent and responsive virtual salesman on the website by recommending or pitching an idea to the customers in which he/she might be potentially interested. The primary purpose of recommender systems is broadening the profit of the enterprise by simulating sale of maximum products to a customer and to enhance the user experience of the website. Such recommender systems are being widely developed using machine learning concepts, implemented by the Python language, by online enterprises big and small all across the globe. This work exhibits a recommender scheme for an e-learning website which bids various online courses to its users for learning new skills on an online platform. A composite method is functional to implement the same which in turn uses the two basic methods namely content based and collaborative filtering in a non-inclusive manner. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper aims to predict student academic performance using machine learning algorithms by analyzing socioeconomic and personal factors from secondary education in Portugal. The study utilizes a dataset containing demographics, family background, educational support, extra-curricular activities, and academic records to evaluate their impact on students' success in Mathematics and Portuguese courses. Machine learning models such as Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, and Random Forests were employed to analyze the data. The Random Forest model outperformed others with an accuracy of 85 %, indicating significant potential in predicting student performance using the selected features.

Today, the world has been struck by an indomitable virus and an unprecedented situation arising due to COVID-19 sickness. The current circumstance is an extremely extraordinary circumstance, and each country in this world is attempting to relieve and reduce its spread. In this paper, we will research on how to pre-process and combine datasets to ascertain required measures and set them up for an investigation. This paper aims at reviewing the correlation between the above-mentioned factors. COVID-19 dataset was imported and set up for examination by dropping segments and collecting columns. After deciding on and computing a decent measure, the examination results were visualized using seaborn. In order to effectively treat bone fractures, an appropriate diagnosis must be made quickly after the injury occurs. Medical picture segmentation is an area where deep learning methods, especially Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), have made significant strides in recent years. Cascaded Convolutional Neural Networks (C-CNNs) are proposed as a new method for segmenting bone fractures in this research. The cascaded architecture enables the segmentation model to focus on refining the boundaries and intricate details of fractures, leading to improved accuracy and reliability. The first stage of our proposed framework consists of a dedicated CNN designed to detect potential fracture regions within X-ray images. By efficiently identifying the candidate fracture areas, the model reduces the search space for subsequent stages, enhancing computational efficiency. In the second stage, a refined CNN further processes the detected regions to accurately delineate the boundaries of the fractures. The network can learn complicated fracture patterns and nuances seen in the X-ray pictures because to the cascaded architecture that allows for specialized emphasis at each level. We used a large dataset of annotated X-ray images encompassing various fracture kinds and severities to train and assess the proposed C-CNN architecture. In terms of segmentation accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, our experimental findings show that the cascaded technique excels above typical single-stage CNN models. The suggested technique also shows resilience over a wide range of fracture types, from the most frequent to the rarest, making it excellent for use in the clinic. © 2023 IEEE.

This research paper investigates the combination of cutting-edge deep learning architectures, specifically the Swin Transformer, with conventional feature extraction methods, such as the Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) algorithm, for the identification and classification of fractures. We seek to improve the accuracy and robustness of fracture identification from medical pictures by integrating characteristics acquired from SIFT with the capabilities of Swin Transformer during a 16- week period, we show the efficacy of our hybrid technique through thorough experimentation and evaluation, providing insights into its performance in comparison to traditional methods. Our research advances fracture diagnosis techniques, which may lead to more precise and effective clinical decision-making in hospital settings.

A growing variety of cyber hazards are appearing as the world becomes more and more digital. The sophistication and rate of innovation of emerging threats puts organizations of all sizes at danger, and traditional cybersecurity solutions frequently fall short of keeping up. Threat intelligence powered by artificial intelligence, or AI-TI, offers a fresh and cutting-edge method for tackling cybersecurity issues. To find patterns and anomalies that could point to a cyber-attack, AI-TI solutions can examine massive amounts of data from a variety of sources, including as internal networks, security logs, and open threat intelligence feeds. Then, with the use of this information, security teams can be made aware of prospective dangers and assist in the creation of defense measures. Compared to conventional cybersecurity solutions, AI-TI systems have a number of benefits: Automation: AI-TI systems have the potential to automate a number of threat detection and response-related duties, freeing up security staff to concentrate on more strategic projects. Continuous improvement: AI-TI systems have the ability to continuously learn and get better with time, which enables them to stay on top of the most recent threats. Advanced threat detection: AI-TI systems can be used to identify and react to threats that are too sophisticated or subtle for traditional approaches to identify.

This paper presents an extensive comparison of the IoT and blockchain technologies in the improvement of security, privacy, and interoperability, as well as energy efficiency in healthcare systems. This is because IoT allows for constant tracking and gathering of data from medical devices and this enhances the welfare of the patients as well as the management of the health facilities. However, this has exposed the Internet of Things (loT) technology with multiple risks in data security and privacy since it uses wireless communication and has limited computational power. Such issues can be addressed through the use of blockchain technology because of its distributed and tamper proof ledger. This research work presents a case of how the integration of IoT with blockchain will lead to a middle of the two worlds, where IoT will be useful for handling real time data while blockchain will handle the issue of security. The study concludes that the integration of blockchains with the IoT offers superior results than the individual implementations in several aspects, thus offering a more secure, efficient, and interoperable environment for today's healthcare applications. Possible future work includes improving the integration of these technologies to minimize the energy consumption, improve the scalability of the system and establish feasible implementation models in actual health care systems.
