One of the critical visual components in video game creation is 3D asset prototypes, which also require significant effort. A procedural model using the L-system method for making low-poly buildings can address this issue. This model produces low-poly buildings based on simple parameters input by the user. The model receives input in the form of axioms, which are then processed according to predetermined L-system rules. After the building is formed, it is saved as a prefab in Unity so that it can be reused and modified by the user. The proposed method is implemented to our turn-based tactic *** and provided as a Unity package (add-on). Experimental results show that the buildings generated by the model have a minimalistic yet functional benefits. © 2024 IEEE.

The article explained about the analysis of effect changes the diameter of radiating elements to the improvement of antenna characteristics. The antenna radiating element studied was solid copper wire and the type of antenna observed was an antenna that had a circular contour called the Full Wave Loop antenna. This antenna is use for digital television broadcast receiver applications and has a circle radius of 16 cm. Improved antenna characteristics were analyze for 3 types of radiation element diameter, namely;3.5 mm;2.5 mm and 2.0 mm. The Antennas were operated in a working frequency of 586 MHz, which is for digital television receiver broadcast channels. Based on the test data on the 3 diameter antenna elements and calculation analysis, it is known that the improvement is characteristics VWSR occurs in the radiation element with 2.0 mm diameter, the VSWR value is 1.93, return loss is 7.6 dB, antenna impedance is 97 Ω, gain of 12.88 dBi and antenna bandwidth of 7,17% and gain of 12.86 dBi, while the antenna characteristics of the radiating elements that are 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm larger are worse, among others;for VSWR 2.7 and 3.63. Return loss is -6,9 dB and 4.9 dB. Antenna impedance was 135 Ω and 175 Ω. The antenna gain was 8.78 dBi and 7.1 dBi. The smaller the diameter of the radiating element in the Full Wave Loop antenna will improve the characteristics of VSWR, Return loss, input impedance, gain. On the other hand, the smaller the radiation element will reduce the antenna bandwidth, so it is necessary to look for other methods to improve bandwidth capacity without changing the four characteristics of the good antenna. Likewise, the equation for determining the physical size of the radiating element is redefined. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This research focuses on Sanur Harbor, an inter-island ferry port located in southern Bali. The majority of visitors to Sanur Harbor are tourists who want to travel to Nusa Penida Island. At this port, facilities are available in the form of a Public Address System (PAS) and information officers whose job is to provide information regarding the arrival and departure of ships. However, the effectiveness of this facility is limited for deaf people. Deaf people often have difficulty getting this information independently and often have to rely on manual assistance from officers. This research aims to develop software based on sign language video integration which aims to increase the accessibility of departure and arrival information at Sanur Harbor for deaf people in Bali. The software development method uses a user-centered design development approach which involves the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Sign language videos will be integrated into the software as a medium to convey important information about ship departure and arrival schedules, travel routes, pier names, fast boat names, and other important information to deaf users. Evaluation is carried out through user testing and collecting feedback from users regarding understandability, usability, and user satisfaction with the software being developed. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to increasing information accessibility for deaf people in Sanur Harbor and can become a basis for developing similar technology in other locations. © 2024 IEEE.

Survival Analysis of Kasturi Tobacco Plants in Jember District using the Stratified Cox and Extended Cox Models

In 2022, tobacco was the top export commodity, generating $106.3 million in sales. East Java Province contributes significantly to Indonesia's tobacco production, with an annual output of 188.6 thousand tons. Jember Regency is the area in East Java Province which is a Kasturi tobacco cultivation area. The productivity of Kasturi tobacco continues to decrease due to several factors that can affect the survival of the tobacco. This study aims to analyze the survival of Kasturi tobacco by creating stratified Cox and extended Cox models in order to handle factors that cannot fulfill the proportional hazard assumption. Based on the results of the analysis, the stratified Cox model is the best model with AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748 respectively, while the extended Cox has AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732 respectively. Variables that can significantly affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco are the variable concentration of ZA fertilizer, pesticide concentration. The addition of ZA fertilizer must be appropriate, because if excessive it can cause poisoning of tobacco plants. Likewise with pesticides, if excessive it will cause damage to the leaves. This policy can increase the productivity of Kasturi tobacco. Then, Jember Regency contributes greater export capacity. • This paper aims to determine the factors that affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco plants in Jember • By using the extended Cox model, the best one is obtained using the Heaviside function with AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732, respectively • The stratified Cox model is better than the extended Cox model, which has AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748, respectively

The patient's infusion fluid will only be changed if the nurse changes it or based on information from the patient's family. The research method used in terms of fluid volume utilizes the function of the Arduino microcontroller as the brain, the load cell sensor as an infusion fluid weight detector connected to the IoT, fuzzy logic calculations on the infusion volume weight measuring device in line with real-time decision-making when reading gram weight changes with sensors, and the system development method using a prototype model. The test results of three infusion bottles containing mineral water with a liquid volume of 500 ml and a load cell sensor as an infusion weight detector can be accepted by the Arduino Wemos D1 as a load cell sensor processing component. The infusion liquid weight data is uploaded to the MySQL database, and a notification is sent and displayed on the smartphone when the infusion volume reaches 12% of its weight. The results of this study indicate that the design of tools connected to applications on smartphones can work well and facilitate the process of monitoring infusions for patients in real-time © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid development of technology presents a new paradigm, one of which is in the transportation sector. The concept of smart mobility is one of the components in the realization of a smart city, which is closely related to the transportation sector. The Purwokerto-Purbalingga Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is the government's effort to encourage the transportation sector towards smart mobility. It requires three crucial categories: Accessibility, sustainability, and communication and information technology. This study proves and explains that these three categories can be fulfilled by the Purwokerto-Purbalingga Bus Rapid Transit, especially from women's perception, indicated by an average accessibility score of 4.04, sustainability of 4.22, and information and Communication Technology of 3.80. Efforts that can be taken by the government and Bus Rapid Transit managers include monitoring and evaluating bus stops and bus arrival frequencies as well as developing mobile-based applications that provide real-time information related to bus rapid transit. © 2021 IEEE.

Japanese language has complex writing systems, Kanji and Kana (Katakana and Hiragana). Each one has different style of writing. One simple way to differentiate is Kanji have more strokes than Kana. Meanwhile, it needs a lot of effort to remember characters of Katakana and Hiragana, thus it will be very difficult to distinguish handwritten Katakana and Hiragana, since there are a lot of similar characters. This is the reason why we need pattern recognition. Handwriting recognition has been the object of intensive research during the last decades, including Japanese characters recognition. In this research, we build an application to recognize Kanas character handwriting. Pattern recognition on Kana is started based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) consist of scan image, preprocessing, feature extraction and post-processing. Classification process will be done in post-processing using neural network back propagation. The processing of input images, involves training and testing image. Training image uses 3.956 characters done in three phases of training. Testing image uses 552 characters of some images inputted in training phase and image which has not been used before. The test result achieve maximum accuracy of recognition system at 91.88% from train image and 31.03% from test image. © 2011 IEEE.

Load Balancing is very well applied to the distribution of internet access at any point of the Wi-Fi area so that the use of limited devices can be optimal and on target. The proper use of the Greedy Algorithms when applied to an access point device is very capable in resolving excessive loading in a single resource to take the best choice at every stage in an optimum process. Access point device is also a success factor in running the optimization of the distribution of Wi-Fi access on the Access Point is strongly influenced by the parameters set. In this research, user access factor in one very high Wi-Fi area also influences the possibility of incoming access failure. For the application of the results of this study can be utilized on all access point devices that have limits, but for speed internet access remains at the capacity provided bandwidth. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Raspberry Pi is a mini-computer that is provided to carry out activities quickly and precisely, but Raspberry Pi was created to not be able to do the real-time system with the support of Windows 10 IoT operating system, so the real-time system can be done on Raspberry Pi. The real-time applied in the application needs to be tested with the Nyquist theory. The purpose of this study was to get real-time system measurements available on Windows 10 IoT. This test is done using the Nyquist theory by calculating the results of measurements on mp3 streaming performed on Windows 10 IoT. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
