The rapid evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) has brought about significant advancements, particularly in connecting various electronic devices. This is especially relevant in Indonesia, a nation known for its tech-savvy population. Despite the increasing interest in Smart Home technology, there's still a lack of understanding regarding how security concerns shape user trust and decisions to adopt this technology. In this study, a quantitative approach was employed, surveying 100 respondents to explore the influence of five key factors: perceived automation, controllability, interconnectedness, reliability, and cost. The findings revealed that perceived automation, interconnectedness, reliability, and cost had a considerable impact on the adoption of Smart Home technology, whereas controllability did not. This suggests that users prioritize convenience, seamless integration of devices, and system reliability over manual control, emphasizing the need to enhance these features in Smart Home systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Online Regional Integrated Electronic System (Sistem Elektronik Terpadu Daerah Online/SEDUDO) website, which serves as a centralized platform for population administration information, was Launched by the Nganjuk District Government through Department of Communication and information (Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika/Diskominfo) and this website aims to facilitate public access and accelerate online population administration services. However, in line with operation, no usability testing has been conducted to determine user satisfaction and ease of use but the research has expectations with the target of all aspects of getting all good results. To address this, a study was conducted using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and usability testing methods. UEQ analysis shows that the website scores above average in terms of attractiveness at 1.47;perspicuity at 1.34;efficiency at 1.20, dependability obtained 1.20;and stimulation got the best score at 1.53 with the predicate Good, while novelty got the lowest average score with a score of 0.98. From the UEQ results, it still did not reach the target. Therefore, usability testing was needed for further tests. Usability Testing assesses Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Error, and Satisfaction, resulting in 20 Positive Findings, 13 Negative Findings, and 21 Suggestions for improvement from participants. Among the 21 suggestions, one of the suggestions is providing different file sending options. © 2024 IEEE.

This research aims to measure the ability of pre-service physics teachers to create project-based physics learning media that focuses on renewable energy materials based on several leading indicators, namely understanding of the material, safety and affordability, creativity and innovation, technical skills, implementation skills, communication, evaluation skills, and adaptation. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design with a case study approach with the subject of 27 pre-service physics teacher students at a university in East Java, Indonesia. Research data was collected through project portfolio assessments through products produced, tests, and interviews. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results show that for indicators of material understanding, the majority of pre-service physics teachers are at the intermediate level (44.44%), followed by the basic level (29.63%), professional (18.52%), and novice (7.41%). This indicates that pre-service physics teachers have a fairly good understanding of renewable energy and the learning objectives using teaching aids. Regarding safety and affordability indicators, most pre-service physics teachers are at the intermediate level (48.15%), showing adequate ability to ensure that teaching aids are safe and affordable. Pre-service physics teachers dominate indicators of creativity innovation and technical skills at basic (40.74%) and intermediate (29.63%) levels. This shows that pre-service physics teachers still need to improve their abilities in creating interesting, relevant, environmentally friendly, and interactive teaching aids. This improvement is important so pre-service physics teachers can be more effective in designing teaching aids with functional and aesthetic designs and using simple technology such as paper, cardboard, recycled materials, or essential digital tools. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. Indonesia, as one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world, has experienced significant growth in the number of coffee shops, driven by increasing consumer demand for ready-to-drink coffee. This study aims to enhance sales performance at Authen Café and Space through the implementation of a menu bundling strategy. By utilizing data mining techniques and the Apriori algorithm, customer purchasing patterns were analyzed to identify optimal menu combinations. The data was collected directly at Authen Cafe during the period from April to August 2028. The analysis revealed that bundling strategies, such as combining Ayam Rica-Rica with Es Kopi Susu Karamel, are effective in increasing sales volume and product popularity among consumers. Furthermore, this study evaluated the impact of offering discounts on bundled packages on the café's profitability, demonstrating that this approach can boost net profit without sacrificing profit margins. This research provides significant insights into the application of data-driven marketing strategies within the café'industry and offers guidance for more effective managerial decision-making. © 2024 IEEE.

Rainfall is an important part of people daily life, especially farmers. Agriculture, and also tourism, have been affected greatly by rainy season. As the climate changes, the chance of rainfall amount to change gets higher. Several studies have been performed regarding rainfall data including studies on rainfall model as well as clustering of regions based on rainfall data. However, assumption used in the studies is that the data comes from one class population. This paper reports a study conducted on rainfall data with assumptions that rainfall pattern changes and its data can come from several class populations. The rainfall data used in this study is taken from Badung Regency. The class population is also assumed to come from several distributions including Gamma, Gaussian, and Student t distributions. In developing the model, the Minimum Message Length (MML) principle is applied for both parameter estimation and model selection processes. The result shows that rainfall data comes from a one class Gamma distribution model. None of the classes has chosen Gaussian and Student t distributions as their class models. The model with a gamma value less than 1.0 is better fit with a less message length = 1076.329 bits compared to that with a gamma value greater than or equal to 1.0 with a message length = 1086.851 bits. The results also show that MML slightly performed better compared to Akaike information Criterion (AIC) and Schwarz's Bayesian information Criterion (BIC), in terms of the probability bit-costings calculated from the modelling of sampled data. This shows that the uncertainty region involved in the MML modelling accommodates the unseen existing data better. The selected model implies that rainfall data is not normally distributed and tends to have higher probabilities for less rainfall amounts. This result can be further used in agricultural and tourism sectors in predicting the rainfall amount in the next period. © 2023 IEEE.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the food and beverage (F&B) industry have mostly used social customer relationship management (SCRM) approaches to promote customer loyalty (CL). This method is extensively adopted in the digital era since it is thought to improve consumer satisfaction. The primary goal of this study is to examine how SCRM affects customer loyalty through the mediation of customer engagement (CE), trust (TR), and enhanced customer service (ICS). This research received data from 350 respondents using Google Form and analyzed it using SmartPLS (SEM-PLS). The obtained data reveal that all hypotheses have a favorable and substantial effect on SCRM, CE, TR, ICS, and CL. © 2024 IEEE.

Interface design evaluation is part of human-computer interaction. The focus of this research is to carry out a heuristic evaluation on the interface design of an online learning application, namely Microsoft Teams, to determine the extent to which the application meets the usability concept of interface design. Microsoft Teams is an application that is the choice of many universities in Indonesia to provide online learning. Microsoft Teams can be accessed by students, course lecturers and Digital Learning Subdivision units (the team that manages e-leaning). This research uses a heuristic evaluation method which includes several usability principles such as Jacob Nielsen's ten principles of usability. To facilitate evaluation of the user interface, this research combines heuristic checklists and severity ratings. Severity ratings are associated with problems that arise and have varying levels of seriousness. There are 5 (five) value categories in severity ratings, starting from 0 (cosmetic), which means there is no problem, up to 4 (critical), which means it is very important to fix the problem and is a top priority. This research involving 7 evaluators consisting of IT admins and lecturers who will carry out assessments by filling in a heuristic checklist. The stages of research activities carried out include 6 stages consisting of: preparation, problem formulation, method selection, evaluation using the hueristic evaluation method, discussion of results and preparation of recommendations for improvement. The results obtained were that there were 109 problems in ten heuristic principles, most of which were in the minor category and needed to be corrected in the principles of system status visibility, user control and freedom principles, error prevention principles, and assistance and documentation principles in Microsoft Teams. © 2024 IEEE.

Based on the emerging students' usage of social media in numerous nations, including Indonesia, Microsoft Forms was used to gather data from 410 respondents, and SmartPLS 4.0 was applied to the data analysis in accordance with the research criteria. The questionnaire was distributed in November 2023, and the survey results showed that two hypotheses were rejected, specifically in terms of system quality and perceived ease of use in terms of utilizing social media for educational purposes. Meanwhile, others were accepted and had, directly or indirectly, a substantial effect on the academic achievement and satisfaction of students. © 2024 IEEE.

Scheduling of final project session is one of the problems that need to be handled in the information systems study program at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). The problem arises because there are some differences in the available schedules of the prospective examiners. Besides that, another factor that is taken into consideration when the study program determines prospective examiners is the expertise of the examiners. Therefore, the topic of this research was raised to be able to solve the problem. The system development method used in this study is prototyping. The algorithm that will be used to create the scheduling system is a genetic algorithm to determine the final schedule for students' final project defense based on the availability and expertise of the examiners. The proposed system will handle two main processes, namely determining the appropriate examiner for each student based on the student's final project topic and determining a final defense schedule. The proposed system will be built on a web-based platform and have 3 access levels such as the head of the study program, lecturers, and students. The proposed system will provide the best recommendation scheduling results from all the possibilities. The recommended schedule will be used as the final schedule of the student's final project defense. © 2023 IEEE.

At this research, a case study approach was applied at a manufacturing company. The company is having problems with information technology governance and management. Many problems are found in the company's operational activities, and the systems that exist to support operational activities have not been used optimally. To address the company's issues, an evaluation and assessment of the capability level in information technology governance and management will be conducted using the COBIT 2019 framework. Data will be gathered through interviews and literature reviews, resulting in qualitative data. The data collected can be used to identify appropriate domain procedures to address the company's problems. APO07, APO12, APO13, BAI08, and DSS05 are the domain processes that are used. The investigation on information technology governance and management discovered that procedures APO07, APO12, APO13, BAI08, and DSS05 stopped at level 2 with the 'Largely Achieved' category, indicating the presence of gaps in each of these processes. Six recommendations for procedure APO07, three recommendations for APO12, three recommendations for APO13, two recommendations for BAI08, and four recommendations for DSS05 have been offered. The recommendations will be delivered to the company to assist in addressing the gaps in these procedures. © 2023 IEEE.
