This study investigates the control mechanisms underlying interpersonal coordination in ballroom dancing. We propose an agent-pair model, to understand the mechanism, that the number of steps increases when dancers dance in pairs compared to when they dance solo, that is, the pair-assist effect. In the proposed model, the agents support each other through holds on their arms, enabling them to take back-arched body postures that allow the agents to realize larger leg strides, which would result in instability if the agents danced alone. Furthermore, each agent adjusts its leg motion based on the compressive force generated by the hold, thereby generating a cooperative motion that suppresses the variation in the hold force due to discrepancies between agents. Simulation results suggest that decentralized motion coordination based on the load via the hold between agents is important in cooperative movements that involve physical contact, as observed in ballroom dancing.

This research is an approach to intelligent vehicles with a LoRa communication system, LoRaWAN compatible for Long-Range and Outdoor Communication, but in this paper, we will test the ability of LoRa to handle autonomous vehicles, a Blind-Adaptive Data method will be tried on vehicles systems. The system offered is when the vehicle is running, the sensor will send position data in real-time, the number of vehicles is four, and GPS data is sent alternately using the Blind Adaptive Data Rate principle to avoid data collisions, and when the GPS shows a certain position, the value of SF is ascertained, which affects the data rate and ToA, and the output given is RSSI on each car, speed of a car, power consumption of sensor nodes, signal power, SNR, Bit rate or data rate, and sensitivity. With the Blind ADR principle, it is ensured that there is no data collision between car position data that causes packet loss.

Watering and liquid fertilization carried out by plant owners are still manual, where the owner's involvement in these two things requires a long free time until the plants are wet and adequate fertilization is achieved. In other conditions, more attention to the survival and maintenance of plants through watering and fertilization is an absolute necessity so that plants do not wilt easily and eventually die. A solution for watering and fertilizing liquids is automatically offered through the design of watering and fertilizing liquids with a microcontroller as a control center based on Internet of Things communication. The tool is designed to automatically water and fertilize plants and generate a remote monitoring system for soil moisture using the *** application. The method used in realizing this design includes several stages, namely system block diagram planning, electrical and mechanical system planning, software design, and system testing to prove the tool can work properly according to the initial design. Supporting components for controlling watering and liquid fertilization using Wemos D1 R1, Capacitive soil moisture sensor as a soil moisture sensor, Real-Time Clock (RTC) module as a fertilizer timer. Relay that functions as a switch to turn the pump on and off. The results of the performance of the designed tool can do watering automatically when the soil moisture level is below 20% and will stop when the soil moisture is more than 40%. Meanwhile, liquid fertilization will automatically work according to a predetermined time. The existing monitoring system is accessed using smartphones and computers with the help of the *** application as long as the device is connected to the internet network. This study aimed at investigating the maintenance management of welding engineering workshops and factors affecting the damage of welding equipment in vocational high schools located in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The study employed quantitative descriptivedesign. It was conducted at vocational high schools SMKN 1 Sedayu, SMKN 2 Pengasih, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Wates, and SMKN 1 Pundong. The respondents were heads of workshops, teachers of welding engineering subject, workshop technicians, and students. The data were collected through survey, observation, and interview. The quantitative descriptive technique was employed to analyze the collected data. The results of the study show that the maintenance management of welding engineering workshops in some VHS in Yogyakarta is Very Gooddespitesome problemsin the maintenance procedure. The factors causing the equipment damage are the unscheduled maintenance procedure, absence of inventory lists, lack of technicians, improper use of workshop equipment, and the limited amount of maintenance budget. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A decision support system is a solution to help provide decision recommendations in determining which options to choose as a solution, in this decision support system research, namely analyzing and comparing the Matching Profile method and the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method in providing the best choice solution in the case of determining teaching staff acceptance. Determination of Admission, The selected teaching staff, are teaching staff who are in accordance with the criteria and quality. In an educational institution, namely TPQ Anbata, it is a very important issue to get elected teaching staff. One way to get teaching staff who is in accordance with the cafeteria is determined by selecting or determining prospective teaching staff by paying attention to various assessment criteria so that the selected teaching staff is feasible. From the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained include all test cases, and the testing is appropriate. The results of the system calculation accuracy test show that the calculation of Matching Profile and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting Method carried out by the system with manual calculations is correct and the feasibility test. Appropriate to use in making decisions determining the recruitment of teachers than the profile matching method in Anbata TPQ. The difference is in the highest value in each method. In the profile matching method, the highest value is Salman Al Fariz with a value of 4.70 while in the SAW method the highest value is Ali Gufron with a value of 8,778., it can be concluded that the most appropriate method in determining the recruitment of teaching staff at TPQ Anbata is the Profile Matching Method. © 2020 IEEE.

The study aims to describe (1) the development stages of the manual arc welding job sheet and (2) its validity. It is a Research and Development (R & D) of which the data were collected by means of non-test instruments, namely the closed-ended questionnaires with the 5-scale responses. The data were collected from the three research participants acting as the material and media experts,namely two lecturers in the Mechanical engineering education study program, faculty of engineering (FE), Yogyakarta State University (YSU), and a teacher of the Basic Welding Technique subject. The job sheet development stages were adapted from Thiagarajan's model, namely the Four-D model covering the definition, design, development, and dissemination. Data were analyzed quantitatively by means of the descriptive statistics. The results of the material evaluation by the material expert I prove that the job sheet is categorized as Appropriate (with the total score of 145 or 82.9%) and Very Appropriate based on the material expert II with the total score of 153 (87.4%). Besides, in terms of the media, the job sheet is Appropriate based on the media expert I (with the total score of 207 or 82.8%) and Very Appropriate based on the media expert II (with the total score of 215 or 84.4%). © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) intouniversity-level academic writing presents both opportunities and challenges,particularly in relation to cognitive dissonance (CD). This work explores howGenAI serves as both a trigger and amplifier of CD, as students navigateethical concerns, academic integrity, and self-efficacy in their writingpractices. By synthesizing empirical evidence and theoretical insights, weintroduce a hypothetical construct of GenAI-induced CD, illustrating thepsychological tension between AI-driven efficiency and the principles oforiginality, effort, and intellectual ownership. We further discuss strategiesto mitigate this dissonance, including reflective pedagogy, AI literacyprograms, transparency in GenAI use, and discipline-specific task *** approaches reinforce critical engagement with AI, fostering a balancedperspective that integrates technological advancements while safeguarding humancreativity and learning. Our findings contribute to ongoing discussions on AIin education, self-regulated learning, and ethical AI use, offering aconceptual framework for institutions to develop guidelines that align AIadoption with academic values. © 2025, CC BY.

Background: There would be over 600 million people living with diabetes by 2040 as predicted by the World Health Organization. Diabetes is characterized by raised blood sugar and insulin resistance. Insulin regulates the influx of glucose into the cell by upregulating the glucose transporter type 4 (GLUT4) expression on the plasma membrane. Besides, PPAR-γ also controls the metabolism of glucose in adipose tissues. Curcuma mangga Val., denoted as C. mangga, is a native Indonesian medicinal plant that has many beneficial effects, including an antidiabetic potential. Purpose: In this research, we aimed to disclose the hypoglycemic activity of ethanol extract of C. mangga (EECM) in 3T3-L1 fibroblasts-derived adipocyte cells in regulating glucose uptake as confirmed by the GLUT4 and PPAR-γ gene expression. Methods: The uptake of glucose was determined using radioactive glucose, while the gene expression of GLUT4, PPAR-γ, and β-actin was quantified using mRNA segregation and real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Results: We discovered that EECM interventions (200 and 50 μg/mL) increased glucose uptake in lipid-laden 3T3-L1 cells by 14.75 and 8.86 fold compared to the control noninsulin, respectively (p < 0.05). At the same doses, they also increased GLUT4 mRNA expression by 8.41 and 11.18 fold compared to the control non-insulin, respectively (p < 0.05). In contrast, EECM interventions (200 and 50 μg/mL) showed lower levels of PPAR-γ mRNA expression compared to the control metformin, indicating the anti-adipogenic potentials of EECM. Conclusion: EECM showed hypoglycemic activity in lipid-laden 3T3-L1 cells by improving glucose ingestion into the cells, which was mediated by increased GLUT4 expression and downregulated PPAR-γ expression. © 2020 Pujimulyani et al.

Green campus development of UNNES postgraduate program: potential identification and performance analysis

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) with the vision of conservation-minded university with international reputation continues to develop a conservation-based academic life, namely the value of caring for the environment. This vision is supported by one of the internal UNNES Green Campus programs, namely H-BAT (green, clean and healthy). Based on the results of the H-BAT assessment in period of June 202, it showed that the achievement of the UNNES Postgraduate program (it's called PPs UNNES) performance was 62.24%. This performance achievement is a low indicator for PPs UNNES in its efforts to develop a green campus. The formulation of the problem that can be raised is how to improve the performance of PPs UNNES's H-BAT achievement in the field of conservation. The purpose of this study is to identify potential and analyse campus performance in accordance with the H-BAT indicator assessment criteria. The method used in this research is descriptive exploratory. The results show that the achievement of 62.24% of the H-BAT assessment illustrates that the PPs UNNES green campus governance is not optimal, both in administration, programs, policies and implementation in the field. PPs UNNES has great potential to be able to better improve H-BAT achievement, but it seems that there are obstacles that may be the cause of the low H-BAT performance achievements in the past period. It needs a lot of efforts to optimize the existing potential so that it can fulfil the H-BAT assessment indicators more optimally.

Vibration analysis is very important in predictive maintenance in the industry today. In this paper, has designed a vibration detection system that can identify the condition of the induction motor by online. Induction motor vibration data is read from two vibration sensors, accelerometer1 and accelerometer2, displayed using ATMEGA16 microcontroller and can directly identify the condition of the induction motor by using artificial intelligence-based analysis that is Backpropagation-Neural Network (B-NN). After testing, the system managed to perform fault identification induction motor with the rank of success of 95 percent.
