This research investigates the adoption of digital twin technology for marine debris management in Bali, focusing on the regions of Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar, and Tabanan. Digital twin technology involves creating virtual models that replicate physical environments and processes, enabling real-time monitoring and simulation. This capability is particularly crucial in Bali, where marine debris presents significant ecological and economic challenges. Digital twin technology offers a strategic advantage by allowing detailed scenario analysis and optimization of management strategies. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study evaluates the influence of four key factors within a community resilience framework on the willingness to adopt digital twins: risk perception, planning capability, coping ability, and interest level. The findings suggest that heightened awareness through targeted workshops and campaigns significantly boosts the community's willingness to engage with digital twin technology, highlighting the impact of risk perception. In terms of planning capability, strong processes such as the creation of action plans and task forces are crucial for integrating digital twins into marine debris management strategies. Additionally, robust coping mechanisms, which benefit from access to advanced technologies for real-time response, correlate with a greater readiness to adopt digital twins. Lastly, active community involvement in environmental initiatives indicates a higher propensity to support innovative technological solutions, underscoring the importance of interest level. The study emphasizes the critical role of these factors in creating an environment conducive to the adoption of digital twin technology in Bali. By enhancing these aspects of the community resilience framework, the region can more effectively leverage digital twins to address its marine debris problem. The rapid development of technology, information, and communication requires students to master digital literacy. In addition, the rapid development of technology also affects environmental conditions, so it is necessary to master environmental literacy to understand and interpret environmental conditions, as well as build students’ awareness of environmental issues. This study aims to determine the correlation between digital literacy and student environmental literacy. The population in this research includes 11th-grade students of SMAN 1 Batu. The research sample amounted to 102 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive random sampling. Data were collected through digital literacy questionnaires, environmental literacy questionnaires, and environmental literacy tests. The data were tested for normality and homogeneity prerequisites and then analyzed using the Pearson Correlation statistical test. The results obtained show that the average digital literacy score of students is 105.1, including the high category, and the average student environmental literacy score is 279.7, included in the medium category. The high level of digital literacy will make students more critical in accessing technology and digital media. Digital literacy includes the process of finding, using multiple sources, evaluating, and using information to produce original products, with the maximum application of digital literacy, which is expected to support students’ environmental literacy in providing knowledge, understanding, and building an attitude of caring for the environment. The data obtained shows that there is a positive relationship between digital literacy and environmental literacy.

Instrument current transformers (CTs) are widely used in various types of electrical energy measurement. Eddy current losses, losses of hysteresis, a saturation of CT, and inevitable flux leaks could lead to errors including errors in the ratio and phase angle. Improving the accuracy of CT measurement could be achieved in many ways. In this study, a bisection calibration method to overcome the error by implementing correction factor integrated with the Arduino codes is investigated. The reliability of this system has been tested in two different situations, which are a constant and variable load experiments. The result shows that the readout of the developed instrument using 100 A/50mA CT could achieve the deviation value of less than 2%, confirming the excellence accuracy of energy meter. © 2019 IEEE.

In recent years, several applications of micromixers have been reported to have a number of advantages, including the use of small amounts of plasma, short reaction times, and good reaction efficiency. The samples analyzed in this study were blood plasma and distilled water. The process is carried out by passive mixing which is based on a microchannel structure to enhance the diffusion of molecules for efficient mixing. The arrow shape was chosen as the micromixer design because it has a better blending performance than the T and Y shapes. The types of obstacles also used to improve the mixing process. The simulation was carried out on COMSOL Multiphysics software version 5.6. The results showed better mixing results for the micromixer design with triangle right facing obstacles with the highest Reynolds number was 9.4326. Then followed by ellips obstacles with a value of 9.4322, then without obstacles that is 9.4309, after that the triangle left facing with a value of 9.4006, and finally the lowest Reynolds number is a design with a diamond obstacles of 9.2514.

The catalytic thermal conversion of carbon dioxide is essential for carbon capture, storage, and utilization, helping to reduce CO₂ emissions and potentially stimulating future economic activities. Zeolite Y, ZSM-5, BEA, and A were synthesized using the hydrothermal technique from Indonesian kaolin to examine the potential use of zeolite as a catalyst without metal nanoparticles. In the absence of metal, catalytic activity for CO₂ methanation relies solely on textural properties and basicity-acidity. Zeolite Y exhibits the highest CO₂ conversion at 36.64 % and attained 100 % of CH₄ selectivity at 400 °C. The exceptional CO₂ conversion of zeolite Y relies on a high basicity level of 1.02 mmol/g, as shown by CO₂-TPD analysis, and a relatively low acid site concentration of 1.48 mmol/g, as determined by NH₃-TPD analysis. ZSM-5, BEA, and zeolite A, demonstrated CO₂ conversion of 29.85 %, 23.86 %, and 12.15 %, respectively. Stability studies revealed ZSM-5 maintains methane (CH₄) selectivity of 94 %, which is only slightly lowered by 6 % for 30 hours, while zeolite Y achieved 90 % selectivity for 26 hours. The presence of mesopores in zeolite ZSM-5 reduced coke or carbon production, maintaining crystalline framework. © 2024 The Authors

Transformer is one of the main components in distribution system of electrical power system towards the consumers, thereby any damage to the transformers will hinder the distribution of electricity towards the consumers, and in turn will make the SAIDI and SAIFI levels go up. High temperature in transformers can cause degradation in the insulation of transformers which in turn will cause failure in transformers. When the temperature in winding reaches or goes beyond the limit of 110°C, a degradation in insulation will start happening and the remaining life of transformers will decrease. Damage in transformers will cause disturbance in electrical power system and result in a major economic loss. Before damages occur, transformers need to be changed up until it is deemed to be no longer efficient, this can be done by replacing the transformer that is about to be damaged. To predict when a transformer is about to break, a calculation is made based on thermal modelling according to IEEE Std C57.91-1995 with its most prominent variable being Hot Spot Temperature (HST). HST is obtained by MATLAB programming using Annex G of IEEE Std. C57.91-1995. By obtaining HST, thus the remaining lifetime of transformers can be predicted. This study analysed the effect of loading, hot-spot temperature, and ambient temperature on the remaining lifetime of a transformer. The higher those three factors, the quicker the transformer will break, with loss of life percentage increasing exponentially. The highest loading, hot spot temperature, and ambient temperature given in this research gives percent loss of life of 0.0888332%, 0.0193394%, 0.020753% respectively. © 2019 IEEE.

The Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is a combination of a series active filter (SeAF) and a shunt active filter (ShAF) connected in parallel by a DC link capacitor. This device can mitigate power quality (PQ) problems i.e. sag/swell, harmonics, and unbalance on the source and load bus of threephase three-wire (3P3W) on low voltage distribution systems simultaneously. The disadvantage of UPQC is that it is unable to overcome the voltage interruption so that the source can not deliver power to the load. This paper proposes a dual UPQC model to overcome the voltage interruption on the source bus so that the load bus continues to get power supply. There are six disturbance cases i.e. sinusoidal supply-sag-non-linear load (SSag-NL-L), sinusoidal supply-swell-NL-L (S-Swell-NL-L), sinusoidal-interruption-NL-L (S-Inter-NL-L), distorted supplysag-NL-L load (D-Sag-NL-L), distorted supply-swell-NL-L (DSwell-NL-L), and distorted supply-interruption-NL-LL (DInter-NL-L). The proportional Integral (PI) method is used to control the SeAF and the ShAF in the dual UPQC circuit model. The simulation results show that in the D-Inter-NL-LL case, a Dual UPQC model can maintain a load voltage magnitude of 266.60 V (voltage drop only of 14%), higher compared to a Single UPQC model of 173.97 V (voltage drop of 43.88%). In the same case, a dual UPQC model is capable of resulting in an average total harmonics distortion (THD) of load voltage of 10.10%, lower compared to a single UPQC model of 26.70%.

This study aimed to determine the potential of coffee skin waste (Coffea robusta L) as a superior compost innovation for the growth of pepper-cutting seedlings (Piper nigrum L). This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design using five treatments and five repeats, variations in the dose of coffee skin waste used P0 (control), P1 (90 g), P2 (135 g), P3 (180 g), and P4 (225 g). The shoot height, number of leaves, number of roots, and length of roots were measured. The results showed that coffee skin waste compost significantly affected shoot height, especially at P1 (90 g), resulting in an average growth height of 7.24 cm. In addition, the highest number of leaves was found at a concentration of P1 (90 g), with an average of two leaves. Although there was no significant effect on the number of roots, the concentration of P1 (90 g) yielded the best results, with an average of 33 root blades, and the best root length was obtained at the concentration of P1 (90 g), with an average of 44.6 cm. Therefore, coffee skin waste significantly influenced shoot height and the number of leaves on pepper-cut seedlings (Piper nigrum L.) in the P1 treatment (90 g).

The development of technology and information has an impact on the learning process in the world of education, especially vocational education. In this era learning is not only held in class, but can be anywhere. The role of the internet has made it easy to access learning materials needed by students. An effective and efficient vocational education learning solution is to apply the blended learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of vocational education students from various majors or concentrations on the use of the blended learning model. This study includes a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques carried out by steps 1) collecting respondents' data;2) analyze the data by describing or describing the collected data;3) presents in graphical form (visual). The results of this study show attention or interest if on average they get a response of 81.33% with the category "high", for the level of relevance to get a response of 85.50% with "high" activities, while for student response literacy towards the blended learning model learning gets a score of 80.38%. For confidence, the response was 69.07% with the category "enough". High interest is the starting point for the application of blended learning. If the initial perception has shown positive, then learning will be more focused to achieve the goal. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
