Farmers and agricultural newcomers often rely on intuition for plant nutrient management, leading to inaccuracies. This study presents a real-time soil nutrient monitoring and plant recommendation system using IoT and machine learning. The prototype integrates an ESP32 microcontroller, NPK sensor, soil pH sensor, and DHT11 with an application and a machine learning model. The model employs a hard voting method combining random forest, LightGBM, and support vector machine algorithms, deployed via Flask API and hosted on Vercel. Testing showed the system effectively monitors soil nutrients in real-time, with a pH sensor error margin of ±0.51 and NPK sensor readings displaying a non-linear increase in levels. The hard voting method achieved 98.5% accuracy, with recommendation processing taking less than one second (371.17ms) and CPU usage at 7%. System performance depends on internet speed, while recommendation accuracy is influenced by temperature and humidity. This system offers a practical solution for precision agriculture by optimizing nutrient application and plant recommendations. © 2024 IEEE.

Damage that occurs on the pavement can be in the form of permanent deformation, cracks due to temperature changes, material damage and material detachment. This research tested the resistance of the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixture using a plastic bag of LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) polymer type against water through immersion in water with a temperature of 60 ℃ for 30 min, 24, 48 and 72 h with a continuous system and variations in LDPE polymer plastic content. by 0, 5, 7 and 9%. The results of the analysis show that the use of LDPE polymer plastic in the AC-WC mixture can increase the resistance to damage to the mixture due to continuous water immersion by reducing the retained strength index value and increasing the remaining strength index value with increasing the duration of immersion. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model is a tool for diagnosing Supply Chain Management (SCM) that allows users to understand all processes in a business organization. This study aimed to analyze activities related to Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), especially in the palm oil sector, and to determine the performance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) at PT. Sutopo Lestari Jaya using the green score model. The results showed that the highest Green Objectives (GO) weight in environmentally friendly garden management was located on protected forest land used as plantation land by 38.82%, while waste minimization was found in Crude palm oil water content of 48%. Meanwhile, in minimizing and handling greenhouse gas emissions, the highest weight is found in the amount of fuel used in Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) shipments of 54.07%. For plantation management and palm oil management mills, the highest weight is in the percentage of water use per ton of FFB in PPKS 60.7%, while in waste management, the highest percentage lies in the standardized wastewater Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) of 38.8%. In maximizing the use of new and renewable energy, the highest weight lies in renewable energy per tonne of FFB and the use of solid waste (empty shells and shells) as a substitute for fossil fuels of 45.5% each. © 2022

This study examined the effect of Zn2+ ion substitution on ZnxMn(1-x) Fe2O4 nanoparticles (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) towards signal Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). The co-precipitation method synthesised the nanoparticles at a temperature of 90°C. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) results showed a polycrystalline structure with a crystallite size varied from 19.05 nm to 19.77 nm. In addition, as the Zn element increased in the ZnxMn(1-x)Fe2O4 nanoparticles, the degree of crystallinity increased by 21.72%, respectively. The optical properties of the nanoparticles ZnxMn(1-x) Fe2O4 indicate absorbance at wavelengths of 330.36–331.74 nm. The absorbance level increased as the Zn element decreased, resulting a direct optical gap of 3.47 eV and an indirect optical gap of 3.23 eV. The Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) curve in the SPR biosensor indicated a shift in the reflective angle of the Prism/Au/Air configuration, which is 47.78° on Prisma/Au/nanoparticle of Zn0.8Mn0.2Fe2O4/air by 50.75°, and the prism/Au/nanoparticle of Zn0.2Mn0.8Fe2 O4/air by 51.04°. The substitution of Zn ions in the compound Zn x Mn(1-x)Fe2O4 affects the resulting ATR curve. The shift in the SPR angle is caused by changes in the refractive index in each layer which is influenced by the concentration of each material which has an impact on the absorbance ability and photon reflectance. This research has the potential to continue with the testing of dielectric and magnetic properties, as well as special testing for biological analytes compatible with ZnxMn(1-x)Fe2O4 nanoparticles. © 2023 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Stroke is one of the cerebrovascular health disorders caused by a blockage of blood flow to the brain. Data from South East Asian Medical Information Center (SEAMIC) explain that the most significant stroke mortality occurred in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, and Thailand. There are several methods for diagnosing stroke, one of which is an electroencephalograph (EEG). EEG is one of the more widely used BCI methods due to its lower price, portability, ease of use, and high temporal resolution than other methods. Most EEG require signals from various places on the scalp to achieve good performance. However, using a large number of channels can degrade signal performance in the EEG. Spatial selection can be used for channel selection in the EEG stroke signal which can then be useful for evaluation of stroke therapy. Therefore, this study will select the optimized channel using the spatial selection method to see which channels are relevant to the EEG stroke signal. Also, using the Power Spectral Density extraction feature and Extreme Learning Machine classification. The L2-norm energy calculation method gets better results than other methods. This method can also select the active channel relevant to the stroke EEG signal. The results show that the spatial selection method can increase accuracy by 15 percent and optimize the system with 37.5 percent channel reductions. © 2022 IEEE.

One of the business activities favored by the villagers is poultry farming. This happened because the harvest period is fast and the market is easy, especially for public consumption in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Due to the large number of people who are trying to raise ducks, chickens, and laying eggs, problems have arisen with the provision of these poultry seeds. So far, poultry seeds in the Aceh Province have been obtained from a small portion of the populationAcehnese themselves and the rest were imported from North Sumatra. This causes the fluctuating supply of seed poultry which will eventually disrupt the community's poultry farming business in Aceh Province. Seeing these problems, this research wants to produce a multilevel incubator heating system that maintains a uniform temperature for better incubator efficiency. The test is carried out by paying attention to the temperature distribution in the egg incubator. Thus, measuring the distribution temperature with a value range of 37 °C–38 °C at certain points through the test channel is the main thing that must be done. The variation in this research is the number of incandescent lamps/heating plates (4 and 6) which differs whether or not the zinc plate is under the incandescent lamp/heating plate with a power of 100 and 112 Watts for each heater. The heater in the incubator room will turn on at 37 °C and will turn off automatically at 38 °C due to the influence of the thermostat equipment. After testing, the temperature was 0.7 °C for 4 (four) heating plates without using a zinc plate under the heating plate and 0.8 °C for 4 (four) incandescent lamps without using a zinc plate under the incandescent lamp. However, there is a small comparison, namely 0.4 °C for 6 (six) heating plates using a zinc plate under the heating plate and 0.5 °C for 6 (six) light bulbs using a zinc plate under an incandescent lamp. In indoor vertical farming systems, managing dynamic and complex environments poses significant challenges. Traditional control strategies often fall short in adapting to rapid changes in critical parameters such as nutrient levels, climate conditions, and plant health indicators. To address these challenges, this paper presents a novel approach for optimizing indoor vertical farming using Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG), a reinforcement learning algorithm well-suited for environments with continuous action spaces. Our study focused on the control and monitoring of key parameters, including nutrient levels (pH and EC), climate conditions (temperature, humidity, light, and CO2 levels), and plant health indicators (biomass accumulation and leaf size structure). By defining a comprehensive state and action space, we simulated an indoor farming environment and trained the DDPG model to maximize crop yield and health. © 2024 IEEE.

As a form of sportification of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), eSport are revolutionizing the video game and sports industry in the digital transformation era. Applying Self-Determination Theory (SDT), this study aims to try to understand the relationship between the motivations that make people 'eSport fans' with their behavior in supporting eSport so that it has an impact on the level of individual innovative behavior. Using Partial Least Squares -Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) as a data analysis approach with the Smart PLS 3 tool was carried out in this study. A survey was conducted among 100 people to investigate their behavior related to eSport at the level of individual innovative behavior. The findings indicate that eSport as intrinsic motivation has a larger role in idea exploration, idea generation, and idea championing than in idea implementation. This contributes to applying SDT in the context of eSport and innovative behavior. © 2023 IEEE.

Indonesian MSMEs in 2022 will begin to enter the transformational recovery phase. Various preparations must be made in order to adapt. One that has been done is to increase the number of MSMEs entering the digital ecosystem, such as the MSME marketplace. The MSME Marketplace is used for marketing various MSME products online. The MSME Marketplace must be supported by methods that are able to provide good and fast personal services, considering the types and variety of products offered are increasing in number and varying from time to time. Therefore, this study proposes the Porat_Rank method to produce product recommendations that match user interests quickly so that users are served well. The experimental results show that the Porat_Rank method is superior to the Copelan Score method both in producing recommendations and in processing speed. © 2022 IEEE.

Concrete properties change when it is exposed to high temperature. Fire can reduce the strength and the stiffness of the concrete. Another visible thing is the change in the color of the concrete. Furthermore, a decrease in the alkaline degree of concrete can also occur at high temperatures. This study combines quantifying the value of the color change, quantifying the alkaline level, and evaluating the residual strength of post-fire concrete. Two concrete grades were prepared: 25 and 45 MPa and exposed to a high temperature of 300 and 700 ℃. The amount of 1.8, 2 and 2.5 kg/m3 of polypropylene fiber were added to the concrete. According to the temperature rise analysis, the farther the position from the concrete surface causes a decrease in temperature. The 2.5 kg/m3 fiber content shows more excellent post-fire mechanical performance because it provides the pores needed by concrete when water vapor pressure occurs due to high temperature;therefore, cracks in the cement paste can be avoided. Visually, the color change between grade 25 and 45 MPa are the same in each temperature;however, they have different coordinates as observed by the color test. Furthermore, the addition of 2.5 kg/m3 fiber to the concrete contributes a superior effect to prevent the decrease of the alkaline level during the fire. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
