This paper considers the problem of distributed formation scaling of Multi-Agent Systems (MASs) under a switching-directed graph where the scaling of formation is determined by one leader agent. A directed-sensing graph where neighboring agents exchange their relative displacement and a directed-communication graph where neighboring agents exchange the information about formation scaling factor and velocity factors are used in this paper. One leader agent which decides the formation scaling factor as well as the velocity of the group is chosen among agents. It is shown that under a switching-directed graph, the group of agents achieves the desired formation pattern with the desired scaling factor as well as the desired group’s velocity if the union of the sensing and communication graphs contains a directed spanning tree. © 2024, Brno University of Technology. Natural Language Interface to Database (NLIDB) is a solution that allows users to retrieve data from databases in natural language. Various studies were conducted to translate Indonesian sentences into database queries, but these studies still have weaknesses. In this study, we propose the translation of interrogative sentences in the temporal database accompanied by the addition of several components that can improve the ability of NLIDB. The translation process is carried out by first masking the input sentence and decomposing the sentence into a collection of syntax trees. Then, the existing parsing tree is selected and the best parsing tree will be selected. Then, the process is continued with the analysis of the query components in the interrogative sentences. The results of the analysis will be translated into parts of database query and parts of database query will be rearranged into database queries. This query will be executed and the result can be evaluated by the user and the user can provide feedback according to the system output. The built NLIDB system can translate interrogative sentences for what, who, when, where, how, if, and how many questions with the types of queries that can be handled are current state, time-slice, sequenced, and non-sequenced. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of electrical generator performance using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with a specific emphasis on the role of coil numbers in influencing generator efficiency and functionality. In the context of modern energy systems, where efficient power generation is paramount, this research aims to elucidate the relationship between the number of coils within a generator and its overall performance, including power output and electromagnetic behavior. Through systematic FEA simulations that vary coil numbers while keeping other parameters constant, this study provides valuable insights into the trade-offs associated with increased coil numbers and enhanced efficiency. These findings have significant implications for optimizing generator designs across various applications, from renewable energy systems to industrial power generation, ultimately advancing our understanding of generator dynamics and contributing to more sustainable and efficient power generation technologies. © 2023 IEEE.

Information technology support is desperately needed for higher education. Universities must use information technology to effectively and efficiently manage potential resources to compete with other institutions. Utilization of IT in Higher Education Governance, particularly the academic information system at Nusa Nipa University, lacks a structured architecture. The current IT infrastructure is insufficient to respond promptly and precisely to application and business change solutions. This study aims to simplify the process of developing information system architecture by developing an architectural model and an implementation roadmap. This study's design uses the TOGAF ADM model, The organization's initial condition analysis stage is the preliminary requirement management phase;architectural vision;and business architecture. The enterprise architecture design begins with the second stage's information system architecture and technology architecture phases. The subsequent phases of opportunities and solutions, migration planning, and change management, recommendations for implementing enterprise architecture are presented in the third section. The consequences of this study are IT outlines for each engineering stage given the TOGAF ADM structure for business processes in new understudy affirmations frameworks, scholastic cycles, graduated classes, and libraries to help data frameworks at Nusa Nipa College. This research can create a blueprint for IT development suggestions for expected business techniques at Nusa Nipa College. © 2023 IEEE.

The microfluidic device needs multi-step fabrication, and this process relatively takes time because it requires meticulous treatment. This approach, using laser engraving, reduces the conventional mold fabrication step which is created by soft lithography in the cleanroom. For biomedical research purposes, a certain dimension of the microfluidic design needs to be achieved. Meanwhile, different material needs different variable setting in laser engraving. This article’s research objectives are seeking the optimum variable to achieve targeted dimension and investigating the influenced parameters lead to better understand the laser engraving fabrication process. The Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) sheets had been engraved to a particular dimension refers to the mold design that uses in the microfluidic device. The result showed that parameters meet the desired dimension found at values: 1000 for resolution, 95 for power, 500 for frequency, and 60 for speed. It can be noted that these adjusted parameters were performed for a single passage. Moreover, these influenced parameters also had been investigated to see their effect related to the engraving result. The result showed that the speed was the most significant parameter meanwhile the frequency has a stagnant value in the laser engraving process. This study also observed that higher resolution could smoother the rough surface. This study emerges the potential of laser engraving as rapid prototyping machinery for microfluidic technology. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A total of 37.5 million tons of palm empty fruit bunches(EFBs)produced in Indonesia in 2018 have the potential to be used as an alternative eco-friendly solid ***,a pretreatment process is necessary to increase the heating value and reduce the po-tassium content of *** methods can be employed to improve the characteristics of EFBs as a solid fuel,such as drying and torrefaction to increase the heating value and the leaching process for reducing the potassium content of *** main concept of increasing the heating value is to increase the fuel content,which is *** drying,the carbon ratio can be increased by reducing the moisture content and,through torrefaction,the carbon ratio could be increased due to the decomposition of ligno-cellulose.A simple way to reduce the potassium content of EFBs is the leaching *** types of leaching treatment have been studied before:soaking and stirring *** study reviews those methods to make EFBs more suitable as a solid fuel with a high heating value and less potassium *** the carbon content in EFBs is crucial for enhancing their heating value as a *** and torrefaction decrease the moisture content and modify the chemical structure,resulting in higher carbon *** leaching process effectively reduces the potassium content of EFBs and stirring treatment is more effective than immersion *** positively affects leaching by decreasing the potassium content,while hydrophobicity may hinder leaching by re-pelling *** high moisture content of leached EFBs requires additional energy for evaporation during torrefaction,resulting in a lower energy density yield compared with raw *** may also be required to account for the decreased mineral content,which functions as a torrefaction catalyst in EFBs that have not been leached.

ESP is an IoT based microcontroller. One of its uses for monitoring farming system. To produce good agricultural products, but agricultural land is far from a power source, the microcontroller's energy is limited. This difficulty is overcome by deep sleep mode to save energy. Tests were carried out on three types of ESP to determine the power efficiency level of the system's deep sleep mode. Testing is carried out by taking current and voltage data on the three ESPs during deep sleep and normal mode. The power efficiency results obtained were ESP 32 DEVKIT V1 WROOM 87.10883974%, ESP 32 DF Robot FireBeetle 99.87277596%, and ESP 8266 NODEMCU 80.2693633%. The time used for monitoring of the agricultural system produces, ESP 32 DEVKIT V1 WROOM 20 days 5 hours 38 minutes, ESP 32 DF Robot FireBeetle 186 days 15 hours 40 minutes, and ESP 8266 NODEMCU 24 days 1 hour 53 minutes.

The aims of this research are: (1) producing a mobile applications android based for sensor and transducer field of study on vocational education;(2) know the quality of the product mobile applications android based for sensor and transducer field study on vocational education. The method used is the Software Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model. The stages in Waterfall model are: (1) requirements definition;(2) system and software design;(3) implementation and unit testing;(4) integration and system testing;(5) operation and maintenance. The black box test results show the performance of Sensor application software can all function properly. While the results of the compatibility test show the application can run on various android systems (at least Android 4.2). © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.
