One of the central goals of neuroscience is to gain a mechanistic understanding of how the dynamics of neural circuits give rise to their observed function. A popular approach towards this end is to train recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to reproduce experimental recordings of neural activity. These trained RNNs are then treated as surrogate models of biological neural circuits, whose properties can be dissected via dynamical systems analysis. How reliable are the mechanistic insights derived from this procedure? While recent advances in population-level recording technologies have allowed simultaneous recording of up to tens of thousands of neurons, this represents only a tiny fraction of most cortical circuits. Here we show that observing only a subset of neurons in a circuit can create mechanistic mismatches between a simulated teacher network and a data-constrained student, even when the two networks have matching single-unit dynamics. In particular, partial observation of models of low-dimensional cortical dynamics based on functionally feedforward or low-rank connectivity can lead to surrogate models with spurious attractor structure. Our results illustrate the challenges inherent in accurately uncovering neural mechanisms from single-trial data, and suggest the need for new methods of validating data-constrained models for neural dynamics.

Education about health sciences has historically been limited in the curriculum of health professionals and largely inaccessible to the public. In practice, most of the health science education is still running conventionally. Supposedly with the advancement of technology and the use of the internet everywhere, learning such as e-learning can be important, especially in the health sector. Until this research was conducted, only 514 academic documents about e-learning in health sciences were found for 20 years from 2001 to 2020, obtained in searching on the Scopus database. This study presents a comprehensive overview of studies related to E-learning in the Health Sciences sector. This study uses bibliometric analysis and indexed digital methods to map scientific publications throughout the world. This research employs the Scopus database to gather information, as well as the Scopus online analysis tool and Vosviewer to show the bibliometric network. The method consists with five stages: determining search keywords, initial search results, refinement of search results, initial compilation, and data analysis. Among the most published and indexed articles by Scopus, papers published by researchers in the United States have the highest number of publications (80), followed by United Kingdom (63) and Australia with 45 academic publications. The processed data shows the pattern and trend of increasing the number of international publications in E-learning in Health Sciences field, which Scopus index.

This paper presents an innovative approach to integrating ML-Agents into a microgame-based kart racing environment, showcasing the potential for enhancing gameplay experiences through AI-driven opponents. Kart Unity Game is a racing game that uses small motorized vehicles but still uses the concept of racing in the real world. One of the racing game development platforms is Unity. Unity has developed a platform, Unity Karting Microgame, which users can modify. Unity Karting Microgame applies self-driving to ML-Agents trained and designed to drive their karts with suitable sensors and actuators. The method used to develop the game is to modify the racetrack and modify ML-Agents to make the game more exciting and fun. As a result of this study, successful implementation of ML-Agents in a microgame-based kart racing environment. The study highlights the potential of using Unity ML-Agents to create AI-driven opponents that enrich gameplay experiences. Games can run well and seem varied. ML-Agents can also control their karts on their lanes. Thus, kart racing games can be implemented.

The development of telematics technology is increasing rapidly and this capability is supported by multimedia devices or even telematics that supports the development of multimedia itself. For instance, in the configuration of telematics with websites to control air traffic with a voice communication system, multimedia applications serve as devices for monitoring the use of this technology. Consider the research trends, this study aims to evaluate the current development and trends of research on telematics and its multimedia applications through bibliometric analysis over the last two decades and a half (1999–2023). Several publication characteristics were analyzed, including the most cited articles in this field. This study uses data from the Scopus database to evaluate the productivity, impact, countries, research institutions, authors, and research performance of journals based on the impact factor, citation counts, and h-index. According to the result, the annual number of publications on this topic fluctuates but tends to increase, with Germany being the most prolific country producing articles in this field. Additionally, the most researched telematics and its multimedia applications and most cited lists offer insight into the future. This is the first study to use bibliometric analysis to evaluate research on telematics and its multimedia applications and is expected to be useful for telematics researchers by identifying potential research directions. In addition, this research serves as a valuable resource for future researchers and practitioners. However, improvements can be made by incorporating additional analysis, such as content analysis.

Coplanar waveguide (CPW) antennas are widely used in wireless communication systems because they can be easily integrated with microwave circuits. This article describes a method for improving the performance of CPW antennas by incorporating a slot into the patch design. The antenna was fabricated on an FR4 substrate with dimensions of 43 mm x 40 mm and a thickness of 1.6 mm. The patch section of the antenna was modified by incorporating a slot. The size and shape of the slot were adjusted to achieve optimal performance. The most effective modified design was then fabricated and its properties were measured. The fabricated antenna exhibited an operational frequency range of 2.24 GHz to 7.30 GHz. It also had an omnidirectional radiation pattern and a maximum gain of 5.825 dB.

Population growth and improvements in people’s lifestyles encourage increased consumption of electrical energy. Fossil energy as a fuel for providing electricity has very limited availability so a transition to renewable energy is needed. One area that can be an alternative to renewable energy is the Puri Indah Permai residence in South Sulawesi with quite good sun intensity and wind speed. This research aims to find out the amount of electrical energy that can be produced from a hybrid power plant at the Puri Indah Permai housing complex, to find out the amount of costs required to produce each kWh of electricity, to find out the comparison of production costs from the hybrid power plant at the Puri Indah Permai residence to the tariff. basic electricity PT. PLN and to find out the investment costs for a hybrid power plant in the Puri Indah Permai housing complex. This research uses simulations using Homer software version 3.14.2. It can be concluded that the electrical energy that can be produced on a land area of 100,000 m2 for scenario 1 is 1,574,030 kWh/yr and for scenario 2 is 1,328,351 kWh/yr., the energy production cost for each kWh of electricity is Rp. 3600 for scenario 1 and scenario 2 of Rp. 1356. The comparison of hybrid energy production with PLN’s basic electricity tariff is 1:2.66 for scenario 1 and scenario 2 is 1:1.13. The investment cost for this power generation system for scenario 1 is Rp. 7.54 billion and scenario 2 amounting to Rp. 24.10 billion.
