This study investigates the impact of feature selection results using the filter method on the performance of predictive models for the nutritional status of children aged 0-23 months. This study aimed to understand how correlation-based feature selection methods affect the efficiency and accuracy of predictive models. The dataset comes from the Basic Health Research survey, which consists of 84 variables and around 130,000 data, including anthropometric, family, socioeconomic, and environmental information. In this study, various filter-based feature selection methods were applied to evaluate and identify features that have significant relationships with children’s nutritional status, both linearly and non-linearly. The mutual information method was used to identify complex relationships between features and target variables, while the Pearson Correlation Coefficient and information gain were used to assess the relevance of numerical and categorical features. Of the 84 variables in the dataset, 37 features were selected after the selection process. The model performance evaluation was carried out using the Random Forest (RF) and Gradient Boosting (GB) algorithms, by comparing the results between the dataset that had been selected and without feature selection. The RF model without feature selection produces accuracy: 0,84600, precision: 0,83958, recall: 0,84600, F1-score: 0,78962, and a computation time of 9 seconds. The GB model without feature selection produces accuracy: 0,86330, precision: 0,84722, recall: 0,86330, F1-score: 0,84925, and a computation time of 2 minutes 50 seconds. After feature selection and cross-validation, the RF model shows accuracy: 0,85701, precision: 0,83599, recall: 0,85701, and F1 score: 0,83484. The GB model shows accuracy at 0,86124, precision at 0,84226, recall at 0,86130, and F1 score at 0,84120.

The utilization of hydroponic cultivation in agriculture is increasing due to its high productivity even in limited spaces. However, in practice, monitoring and controlling nutrients in hydroponic systems often require intensive human supervision and intervention. This issue can be addressed through technological advancements, particularly with the adoption of microcontrollers, sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Previous research has developed IoT-based monitoring and control systems for DFT hydroponics using the Blynk platform. This study aims to develop an IoT-based nutrient monitoring and automation system for floating raft hydroponics. Floating raft hydroponics was chosen for its simplicity, lower installation costs, and space optimization. The system developed in this study uses the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor with an average error of 1.229%, the DS18B20 water temperature sensor with an error of 0.415%, and the TDS sensor with an error of 2.055%. The sensor and actuator measurement data are presented via the Antares Web. This research has the potential to minimize the necessity for manual intervention in hydroponic systems, thereby enhancing both efficiency and consistency in nutrient delivery. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this research, the ability of papaya tree trunks as nanocellulose adsorbent for dyes removal was conducted. The synthesis of nanocellulose is carried out in several steps, including isolation of cellulose using the extraction method, immersion with a variety of alkaline bases, namely KOH, KOH+NH3, and KOH+Na2CO3 and synthesis of nanocellulose by hydrolysis reaction. The adsorption process was carried out in batch method, by contacting the nanocellulose adsorbent with the dye, then filtered and observed the change in concentration using UV-Vis. Meanwhile, to observe the functional groups contained in the nanocellulose obtained from synthesis of papaya tree stems FTIR result was evaluated. The results showed that all cellulose-forming groups (CO, CH2, CH) were present in synthesis nanocellulose in accordance with those of the commercial. The synthesis results with variations in the alkaline base which the closest to commercial yield was the variation with the alkaline KOH base. In addition, determination of adsorption performance of ones is compared with performance of commercial nanocellulose. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Shrimp aquaculture has developed into super-intensive systems characterized by extremely high stocking densities, which create significant challenges in maintaining optimal water quality, particularly dissolved oxygen levels. Inadequate oxygen supply can reduce shrimp growth, increase mortality, and lower overall production efficiency. Therefore, the development and application of efficient aeration technologies are critical. One promising technology is the microbubble generator, which enhances oxygen transfer and supports better aquatic environments. This study analyzes microbubble generator technology's research trends and contributions to aquaculture. A bibliometric analysis and literature review were conducted using data from the Scopus database with the search query TITLE-ABS-KEY (Microbubble AND generator OR "Microbubble Generator"), resulting in 341 relevant documents. Data analysis was performed using Scopus Analyze, Scopus AI, and RStudio, and it was visualized using VOSviewer. The findings show that (1) the most frequently used keywords are microbubbles, microbubble generators, and related terms, with China leading in publication output; (2) journal articles are the most common document type; and (3) microbubble generator technology has demonstrated significant contributions to aquaculture, particularly in improving oxygen concentration, enhancing shrimp growth, and maintaining water quality. However, a limitation of this study is its reliance on a single database (Scopus) for data collection. Future research should incorporate multiple databases to provide a more comprehensive understanding of microbubble technology applications in aquaculture.

Data Encryption Standard (DES) is a symmetric encryption algorithm that uses a single key to encrypt and decrypt information. In addition, the cipher text will be hidden inside an image using Stepic. DES Encryption use symmetric encryption to encrypt and decryption to decrypt. It will secure the symmetric encryption and maintain the speed of the encryption and decryption. The result of this study is the lowest error that we got as the Mean Square Error (MSE) is 0.00% and is inversely proportional with the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Avalanche with 79.36% and 34.91% in order that is not stable for result of Avalanche Effect (AVA). Inversely proportional to the length of the text that is hidden in the image, the longest text that is hidden, the more changes that we get in the image with the highest Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI) and Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR) with the biggest image size with 43.47% for UACI and 99.87% for the NPCR.

This research explores the use of Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor(F-KNN)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)for predicting heart stroke incidents,focusing on the impact of feature selection methods,specifically Chi-Square and Best First Search(BFS).The study demonstrates that BFS significantly enhances the performance of both *** BFS preprocessing,the ANN model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.5%,precision and recall of 97.5%,and an Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 97.9%,outperforming the Chi-Square-based ANN,which recorded an accuracy of 91.4%.Similarly,the F-KNN model with BFS achieved an accuracy of 96.3%,precision and recall of 96.3%,and a Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 96.2%,surpassing the performance of the Chi-Square F-KNN model,which showed an accuracy of 95%.These results highlight that BFS improves the ability to select the most relevant features,contributing to more reliable and accurate stroke *** findings underscore the importance of using advanced feature selection methods like BFS to enhance the performance of machine learning models in healthcare applications,leading to better stroke risk management and improved patient outcomes.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a semiconductor material with many applications, such as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), photocatalysts, water treatment, and photoelectrochemicals. Controlling the properties of anatase TiO2 is typically challenging during TiO2 synthesis. Generally, achieving this control necessitates intricate conditions and processes. The solvothermal method is expected to be easier to control the formation of TiO2 with well-defined morphology and good crystallinity, hence, the band gap can be tuned well. However, there has been a lack of research on the effect of solvents in the solvothermal method of TiO2 synthesis on the optical band gap. Herewith, we report an easy-controlled solvothermal method by varying the type and composition of the solvent to modify the band gap of anatase TiO2. Interestingly, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) analysis reveals an anatase TiO2 optical band gap between 1.66 to 3.60 eV, indicating that TiO2 obtained can be operated in the UV to visible light region. The solvents utilized for the titanium (IV) isopropoxide (TTIP) precursor in TiO2 synthesis are isopropanol (IPA), methanol (META), and ethanol (ETA). X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy show anatase TiO2 single crystalline phases synthesized by IPA and ETA solvents and the combination of polycrystalline and amorphous morphology TiO2 synthesized by META solvent. Anatase single crystalline phases are achieved for the solvent mixture with a composition ratio of IPA:ETA solvents of 1:2, 1:1, and 2:1. Our result shows that the optical band gap of single crystalline phase TiO2 can be engineered in a wide range via solvothermal method for green and sustainable material. © 2024, The Authors. Pentapod: A New Type of Concrete Armor for Coastal Protection

This paper explores PentaPod, an invention in concrete armor units developed to protect coastal areas from damage caused by waves and currents. Until now, there hasn't been an armor unit intentionally designed to enhance its stability through connections with neighboring units. PentaPod provides a novel perspective, suggesting that the stability of armor units can be significantly improved not only by having substantial weight and effective interlocking but also by securely connecting them to each other. With this in mind, PentaPod concrete armor can be installed in a random or regular manner without the need for fasteners. Alternatively, it can also be installed regularly in layers with fasteners. Compared to conventional concrete armor installations, the overall stability of structures is significantly improved with interconnected PentaPod, either partially or entirely. In this paper, the results of testing the Stability Coefficient (Kd) for two variations of armor, namely PentaCone and PentaOcta, tested in a Wave Tank are also presented. The objective of this testing is to ascertain the stability coefficient for both variations of armor when installed randomly or regularly without any tying involved. The PentaPod arrangement allows for the implementation of both Grey Protection (using concrete armor) and Green Protection (conservation of mangrove areas) simultaneously, showcasing its versatility and integrated approach to coastal protection. © 2024, The Authors. The purpose of this study is to reveal the condition of teachers' digital literacy and the effect of the achievement motivation towards digital literacy among Tourism vocational teachers in Yogyakarta based on age generation, i.e the generation differences of Baby Boomers, X and Y. This research belongs to ex-post-facto with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 130 teachers consisting of teachers from state tourism vocational schools in Yogyakarta. The results showed that the majority of digital literacy among tourism vocational teachers can be categorized as medium and the variable of achievement motivation plays a significant influence on digital literacy. Moreover, there was a significant influence from the facilities that were used by the teachers towards their digital literacy. Also, there were differences in teachers' digital literacy among teachers who were born in the baby boomers generation, X and Y generation. It means that the variable age generation of teachers can improve the digital literacy skills of vocational school teachers in the field of tourism. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Lighting the way: Enhancing telephone notification with DC lamps in noisy settings

This study aims to develop a device that uses DC lamps as a notification of a telephone ringing in a noisy room. The research method involves observing the Cikande electronic ambassador shop and proposing the use of a DC lamp as a replacement for the speaker output of the telephone. The device includes a PNP transistor type as an amplifier and multiple LEDs to ensure visibility in a noisy environment. The result is a functional device that uses DC lamps to notify the ringing of a telephone in a noisy room. The implication of this research is that it provides a solution for situations where conventional ringing tones from telephones are not audible due to noise pollution. The device can be useful in various settings, including busy offices, factories, and public spaces.
