PLN customer power consumption from the household sector is quite large, originating from the use of household appliances, such as refrigerators, televisions, dispensers, lamps and air conditioners. When users feel that their electricity usage is wasteful, they do not know in detail which household electrical appliances consume the most electricity. At this time customers still find it difficult to monitor the power usage of every household electrical appliance. So it is not known which equipment consumes large amounts of electrical energy. For this reason, a monitoring system for household electrical power usage is needed. This system can be used by PLN household sector customers to find out which household appliances use large power, so customers can manage the use of household appliances. To do this monitoring, a wattmeter device is needed that is able to measure the power use of household electronic equipment. The results of this measurement are measured current data through the current sensor. So that monitoring can be done through the system in real time, the measurement data is sent to the monitoring system database server via the internet of things (IoT) devices. Data generated from the monitoring system can be analyzed using prediction techniques, to obtain information about the length of time the availability of electrical energy has been purchased by the customer. One algorithm that can be used to predict the use of household electrical power is the CART algorithm. This research aims to build a monitoring system for power usage for each IoT -based household appliances. Pempek is a traditional ethnic food originated from Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Currently, there is not exist any profiles which could be used as a determining factor for quality, originality, and ethnicity of pempek. The objective of this research was to obtain the chemical profile of pempek as a determining factor of quality, originality and ethnicity. The samples were collected from the ten famous branded vendors in Palembang. The fish used in making pempek of the samples are snake head fish, Spanish mackerel, and the mix of snake head and Spanish mackerel. The type of pempek used in this experiment was steamed cook pempek lenjer (cylindrical) type. The analysis was performed at a KAN accredited laboratory. It was found that the energy content of pempek used in this experiment was in the range of 125 to 160 kkal/100 g sample and all the pempek used had a 0% of fat. All pempek used had 17 types of amino acid, and all of them had an essential amino acid. The significant finding was that the concentration of glutamic acid was 200% of the concentration of common concentration which indicated that all the vendors used artificial mono-sodium glutamate to improve the taste of pempek. It was concluded that the chemical profile found on this research could be used as database for creating a standard of identity of pempek. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Feature bagging is a well-established ensembling method which aims to reduce prediction variance by combining predictions of many estimators trained on subsets or projections of features. Here, we develop a theory of feature-bagging in noisy least-squares ridge ensembles and simplify the resulting learning curves in the special case of equicorrelated data. Using analytical learning curves, we demonstrate that subsampling shifts the double-descent peak of a linear predictor. This leads us to introduce heterogeneous feature ensembling, with estimators built on varying numbers of feature dimensions, as a computationally efficient method to mitigate double-descent. Then, we compare the performance of a feature-subsampling ensemble to a single linear predictor, describing a trade-off between noise amplification due to subsampling and noise reduction due to ensembling. Our qualitative insights carry over to linear classifiers applied to image classification tasks with realistic datasets constructed using a state-of-the-art deep learning feature map.

The urgency of improving skills is a problem in one of the schools in Yogyakarta, especially communication skills in learning. Therefore, this study aims to improve communication skills by utilising mind mapping and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) in a pair of checks. The subjects of this study were thirty-eighth-grade students of Junior High School (JHS) of 5 Banguntapan Yogyakarta, totalling thirty-two students. This research is qualitative research with a class action research design. Classroom action research by referring to the Kemmis & McTaggart model, namely through stages (1) planning;(2) implementation;(3) observation;(4) reflection. The four stages are carried out in cycles. Data collection is done by observation, questionnaire and documentation. Observations were made to find out the pair of mind check assisted with mind maps. The questionnaire is filled in by students to find out communication skills. Documentation to document student and teacher activities during pair check assisted with a mind map. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the average communication skills increased by 5.55%. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The lecturer workload simulation application can help lecturers to calculate credits for the Tridharma activities that have been carried out. Along with technological improvements, online shopping is currently developing quickly. Online shops started by selling electronics, clothing, food, and home appliances and continue to evolve, selling various things. Currently, digital marketing has a novel technique, namely live shopping, where sellers can present, promote and offer their products directly through live streaming on social media and e-commerce platforms. This research will focus on gaining insight into the factors influencing customers to watch and purchase through live streaming. This research is an early-stage study of exploring and searching for research models. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing similar previous research articles. Several variable components were used in this study. The findings of the factors include visibility capacity, meta-vocation capacity, purchase orientation capacity, social presence, price, perceived product quality, perceived enjoyment, purchase orientation, perceived usefulness, and intention to buy. These factors were tested and proved to be valid with Cronbach's Alpha value being more than 0.5 and reliable with the value of the loading factor a greater than 0.6. Criteria The factors of the findings for further analysis of the relationship between factors and other variables. © 2023 IEEE.

To maintain a stable network interconnection in the Internet, IP network plays a critical role. The most common issues in IP network are unbalanced network workload and network attacks which can reduce the network performance. To mitigate such problems, network optimization can be one solution. This paper conducts a literature review to present research opportunities to solve network optimization problems in IP network using algorithms inspired by nature (referred to as bio inspired algorithm) which are widely known to solve complex human discovery problems. As a result, this paper found that only 11% of previous works that used bio inspired algorithms for network optimization such as ant colony optimization algorithm, genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm, and fish swarm algorithm. Hence, bio-inspired-algorithm-based solutions for optimization in IP network are still promising. Improving network optimization is critical to enhance communication speed and stability over internet.

This research paper presents a bread mold identification system that utilizes digital image processing techniques, specifically K-means clustering and thresholding, to accurately detect and classify mold-infected areas on bread. The system aims to provide valuable information regarding the safety of consuming mold-contaminated bread, enabling consumers to make informed decisions and reduce the risk of health issues associated with consuming mold-infested bread. the K-means clustering algorithm for mold classification, considering factors such as the number of iterations and the distance metric within the feature space to determine its accuracy. The GLCM feature extraction technique is employed to extract texture information from bread images, encompassing features such as standard deviation (110.62), contrast (1.46), energy, and homogeneity (0.96 and 0.77, respectively). Experimental results demonstrate that the Euclidean Distance yielded the highest result of 72.73, the Cosine Distance obtained the highest result of 8.25, and the City Block Distance obtained the highest result of 92.11. These findings showcase the effectiveness of the system in accurately detecting and classifying mold-infected areas on bread, thereby aiding in ensuring food safety and reducing health risks for consumers.

Home security is a crucial aspect that requires careful attention, particularly when it comes to addressing theft concerns. Hence, implementing smart door technology equipped with facial recognition holds promising potential for enhancing home security. This study aims to develop a more secure and regulated home entry system by leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Machine Learning Computer Vision for facial recognition. The system integrates IoT devices, such as cameras and automatic doors, wherein facial image data is captured by the camera and processed using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm to identify individuals. Once an individual is recognized, the system grants access to the home through an automated door. By relying on facial features, the system effectively restricts unauthorized access and safeguards homes against theft risks. Therefore, the advancement of a safer and more controlled home entry system utilizing IoT technology and Machine Learning Computer Vision holds tremendous benefits for homeowners.

Sugarcane bagasse, with a 25–28 % lignin content, can be converted into biochar, serving as a promising adsorbent due to its high surface area. Nano-zero-valent iron (nZVI) is known for its strong magnetization and ability to bind heavy metals. In this research, biochar derived from sugarcane bagasse was composited with nZVI at varying ratios (1:1, 2:1, and 3:1) to improve adsorption efficiency for Cr (VI) removal. The composites were synthesized using the biochar from the plasma pyrolysis method, followed by nZVI incorporation. Batch adsorption tests were conducted with different Cr (VI) concentrations, contact times, pH levels, and adsorbent doses to determine the optimum conditions for each ratio. Characterization of the adsorbent included XRD, BET, FTIR, SEM, VSM, and Zeta potential analysis. XRD analysis of sugarcane bagasse and biochar demonstrated crystallinity and particle size improvements post-pyrolysis. BET results showed that sugarcane bagasse biomass had a surface area of 0.061 m²/g, which increased to 87.50 m²/g after conversion to biochar. However, once composited with nZVI, the surface area decreased to 37.44 m²/g (1:1), 49.26 m²/g (2:1), and 62.37 m²/g (3:1). FTIR and SEM analyses revealed the interactions between biochar and nZVI, as well as the binding of Cr (VI) to the composite surfaces. VSM showed a reduction in magnetization after adsorption, confirming the oxidation of nZVI to various iron oxides (e.g., FeO, Fe₂O₃, Fe₃O₄), which are less magnetic. The adsorption tests indicated that the adsorption capacity increased with a higher SBB/nZVI ratio. The biochar alone had an adsorption capacity of 77.82 mg/g. In comparison, the composites achieved 86.47 mg/g (1:1), 95.12 mg/g (2:1), and 112.41 mg/g (3:1). Optimal removal was achieved at an initial Cr (VI) concentration of 175 mg/L, a contact time of 180 minutes, and a pH of 2. The Langmuir isotherm model best described the adsorption behavior,
