The use of drones in modern combat is a new phenomenon of combat development. Various types of drones have been widely used in modern combat zones, such as reconnaissance drones, artillery fire correction, kamikaze drones, and drones for bombing missions. Since the development of drones for military purposes requires a long time and much money, many armies from various countries began to develop drones for combat missions by modifying civilian drones into drones armed for military needs. Many drones are modified to transport explosives to be dropped on the opponent’s position. In this research on Multipurpose Quadcopters with Multirole Weaponized System capability, a drone system based on DJI Mavic 3 is developed to lift cargo as munitions weighing 350 grams. The drone system can release munitions using a remote controller using the ADC reading of the auxiliary light on the drone. The ADC value is then read by the Arduino Nano microcontroller and used to drive the servo motor. From the test, the ADC threshold value suitable for reading the drone’s lights is 170 out of a maximum value of 255. The dropped munition system can read the attitude and movement when dropped until it hits the target. The munition moved stably when dropped from a height of 70 meters, and the oscillation did not exceed 2 seconds since the munition was dropped from the target. When dropped, the average duration of the munition did not exceed 5.91 seconds. The contact of the munition to the target did not exceed a distance of 1.02 meters from the aiming point.

Palm oil consumption has risen due to an increasing preference for vegetable oil. However, this growth in the palm oil industry has given rise to various challenges, especially concerning environmental issues and emissions. This study evaluated the ecological consequences of using empty palm fruit bunches in plantations and furnaces and utilizing solid waste from empty fruit bunches as a renewable energy source. The research findings indicate that, for a 30 tons/hour capacity, the total greenhouse gas emissions (GWP) in the furnace and plantation management amount to 234.72 kg CO2 eq and 234.69 kg CO2 eq, respectively. The acidification impact (0.51 kg SO2 eq) and the eutrophication (0.95 kg PO4 eq) in the plantation and the furnace. For a 60 tons/hour capacity, the total GWP increases to 328.59 kg CO2 eq in the furnace and 328.37 kg CO2 eq in the plantation. Furthermore, acidification (0.73 kg SO2 eq) and eutrophication (1.33 kg PO4 eq) impacts persist in both the plantation and furnace stages. The primary concern highlighted in this research is furnace management, particularly concerning the oil content. Additionally, the production stage emphasizes the importance of raw materials as another critical hotspot. The study recommends implementing technological changes and adopting preventive maintenance practices to minimize the oil content in empty fruit bunches to mitigate the environmental impact during crude palm oil (CPO) production stages; utilizing empty fruit bunches as renewable energy presents an option to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Alpinetin (7-hydroxy-5-methoxyflavanone) is a flavonoid with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and other important therapeutic effects, so it has significant potential benefits. Rice husks or bran from rice are known to contain antioxidants, one of which is flavonoids. The addition of mold in the fermentation process can be used to enrich the lipid content of the fermented bran. Therefore, Aspergillus terreus chose as a mold. In this study, the fermentation process varied in the volume of mold inoculum with variables 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 mL in the fermentation medium, respectively. Inoculum volume variables are related to the metabolic products of the mold used, Aspergillus terreus, where the metabolic products in the form of desaturase and elongase enzymes catalyze the formation of unsaturated fatty acids. This unsaturated fatty acid content was tested qualitatively using LC-MS/MS-TQF. The results showed that the volume of inoculum with a variation of 7 mL had the highest lipid yield of 19.94% and with the detection of alpinetin content in RT 13.04 with an area (%) of 31.03%.

West Java has mining materials from volcanic activities including andesite and basalt. This mining materialis used conventionally as a building (construction) material which is still in the form of ’raw materials’ or ’semi-finished’ so that its use is only carried out simply and the selling value is low. To increase its selling value, basalt rock can be used as a composite construction material in the form of fibers, including composites with the strengthening of basalt fibers (Fiber Basalt Reinforced Composite). This study aims to see the characteristics of basalt rocks that can be made fibers in 3 locations in the Bandung area (Gunung Bohong, Cipatik and Batu Templek) including the characteristics of chemical composition, physical and mechanical properties and mineral composition. The research methodology was carried out by a comparative method by looking at the characteristics of other basalt rocks that can already be used as basalt fibers, namely chemical composition (Al2O3 and SiO2) with the XRF method, testing physical (density) and mechanical properties (tensile strength and Elastic Modulus) and mineral composition with petrography analysis methods by looking at the plagioclase mineral. Based on chemical analysis, of the three samples studied, they were included in the criteria for basalt rocks that can be used for the manufacture of basalt fibers, but in these samples there were chemical compounds that were not included in the criteria, namely the Fe2O3 + FeO and MgO compounds. Then the characteristics of physical properties that are included in the criteria for making basalt fibers are in the Cipatik and Batu Templek samples. Meanwhile, the mechanical properties that are included in the criteria are in the Gunung Bohong and Cipatik samples. Furthermore, for petrography testing, it was concluded that the mineral composition in the three samples studied contained plagioclase minerals by 100%. Thus it can be indicated that the type of rock is basalt rock – and

Rice bran is a by-product of the rice milling process. Rice bran contains a variety of antioxidant compounds that are beneficial for the health of the body, such as vitamin E, oryzanol, and flavonoid compounds. One of the compounds classified in flavonoids is alpinetin which has antioxidant activity that can protect cells from free radicals in the body. Alpinetin is a flavonoid bioactive compound known to have various benefits, such as anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and antioxidant with low systemic toxicity. Enrichment of the content of bioactive compounds and fatty acids in rice bran oil can be carried out by a fermentation process using Aspergillus terreus. This research examined the effect of carbon source concentration and solvent ratio methanol: chloroform. This research used the solid-state fermentation method and modified the Bligh-Dyer extraction process. The extracted rice bran oil then tested using a Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) qualitatively. This research found that the addition of 10 g/L glucose produced the optimum lipid yield of 7.695%, and the highest alpinetin content was produced with the addition of glucose as much as 8g/L with alpinetin content of 27.11%. The ratio of methanol: chloroform =2:3.1 v/v produced the highest lipid yield, 9.54%, and the initial content of alpinetin compounds in rice bran extract increased from 0.02% to 3.43%.

Recent borehole seismic deployments conducted along the Baribis Fault in northwestern Java reveal that it may be active. In this study, we exploit these data to locate proximal earthquakes using a relative relocation technique, estimate their moment magnitudes using a spectral fitting method and compute their focal mechanisms via waveform inversion. We observe that seismicity in the eastern part of the fault is significantly higher than in the west, where a previous GPS study of the region south of Jakarta demonstrated the existence of high compression rates. These observations imply that the western Baribis Fault is locked, and that neighbouring areas, including southern Jakarta and its surroundings, may be highly vulnerable to future sizeable earthquakes when accumulated elastic strain energy is eventually released during fault rupture. Significantly, the current generation of Indonesia's national hazard maps have not considered seismicity along the Baribis Fault. Our new results therefore call for an urgent reappraisal of the seismic hazard in northwestern Java that carefully takes into account the Baribis Fault and its earthquake potential, particularly in light of its proximity to Jakarta, a megacity that lies at the heart of one of the most densely populated islands in the world.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L*a*b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%.
