Technopreneurship represent a form of entrepreneurship that emphasizes entrepreneurial skills and technology. Studies on technopreneurship have been conducted, but research investigating antecedents of technopreneurship based on the entrepreneurial event model (EEM), is still limited. Most research on technopreneurship is dominated by the use of the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Therefore, this study aims to investigate the driving factors in EEM, namely perceived desirability, propensity to act, and perceived feasibility to technopreneurship intention. In addition, another purpose of this study is to explore technopreneurship intention towards technopreneurship commitment. To achieve this goal, the study used quantitative research design, primary data sources, and data collection methods using questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 240, with the sampling method using purposive sampling. Reliability, validity, and hypothesis testing using Smart-PLS software version 3. The results showed that perceived desirability affects technoprenurial intention, propensity to act affects technoprenurial intention, perceived feasibility affects technoprenurial intention, and technoprenurial intention affects technopreneurial commitment. © 2024 IEEE.

The role of Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) is critical to maintain cost-efficient in smart grids, as the predictive maintenance means for ensuring their reliability. Java Bali grid is the most important power network in Indonesia, because it holds 75% energy sales and the foundation of the Indonesian government, business and industrial sectors. One method for prediction in the machine learning is the Linear Regression, as part of the Supervised Learning technique. The regression model extracts the grid overload variable from MV distribution system, where connected load (MVA) divided by the number of MV customers. The model constructs the Linear Regression function, where the slope and intercept values found from the correlation between predicted response and actual response. After confronting the function f(x) and the coefficient of determination (R2), the test results for the MTTF prediction values for Java-Bali's region shows the higher accuracy when the R2 shows highest value. © 2023 IEEE.

Cianjur is one of the renowned rice producers, particularly with the presence of Pandanwangi rice that can be grown in the Cianjur area. Pandanwangi has become one of Cianjur City's icons, the rice supremacy created by Pandanwangi Cianjur's tenacity and distinctive scent (pandanus fragrance). The Interest of pandanwangi was very high, both within the town of Cianjur and outside the town of Cianjur, but this was inversely proportional to the desires of the groups of farmers who appeared to prefer to plant rice other than Pandanwangi, on the grounds that the planting of Pandanwangi had a long harvest and that the likelihood of crop failure was also very high. Problems with information flows that are not well integrated between farmers' groups, farmers' group organizations, and the Agriculture Department in adjusting land details, planting time, planting location, estimating total harvest and harvesting time. To solve this problem, a framework must be built that can integrate the information needed for Pandanwangi Cianjur Harvest Prediction with Pandanwangi farmers' regional analysis based on geographic information system technology, using Google Maps Service. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Industrial development requires accurate and reliable control technology. One of the popular control systems is PID control. This paper discusses the implementation of the PID method for ping-pong ball position control by utilizing the theory of the Coanda effect. The control system was designed using Arduino as the controller and LabVIEW as the control interface. Tests were carried out by combining set point values to determine whether the position control system worked properly or not. The test results show that the PID method combined with LabVIEW can work well with the results of the PID control test at successive heights of 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm, and 35 cm obtained rise time (tr) 3.49 seconds, 4.58 seconds, 9.08 sec, 9.92 sec, and 8.84 sec. The average tolerance is 1.5 cm for the upper limit and 1 cm for the lower limit. © 2023 IEEE.

Corrosion poses a significant challenge in industries due to material degradation and high maintenance costs, making effective inhibitors essential. Recent studies suggest expired pharmaceuticals as alternative corrosion inhibitors, but identifying the most efficient compounds can be time-consuming. This study applies machine learning models, particularly Gradient Boosting Regressor (GBR), to predict corrosion inhibition efficiency (CIE). The developed model is integrated into a web-based application, enabling real-time, accurate CIE predictions. Results show GBR as the more precise model for predicting CIE, with low error rates. The streamlit-based web application offers a user-friendly platform, facilitating quick identification of suitable inhibitors. It is flexible, supporting analysis beyond corrosion inhibitors, and significantly enhances the efficiency of the evaluation process. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has a spirit to become a Conservation and International Reputation University is realized through strategic missions. One of the conservation-oriented implementation programs is H-BAT (Green, Clean and Healthy) program. In its implementation, there is a problem, namely the achievement of H-BAT program has not been maximized during the last 3 years in assessment. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify of the potential and character of environmental support in the work units;(2) to determine the achievement of the indication of a green campus based on the assessment indicators on H-BAT program. This research was carried out in four stages: (1) Data collection;(2) Spatial data processing;(3) Non Spatial data processing;(4) Analysis (ecological, technical standards);The results achieved in June 2020 are as follows: FT got 87,50%, FE got 85,87%, FMIPA got 81,52%, BUHK got79,49%, FIP got 73,91%, LP3 got 69,23%, LP2M got 63,46%, FIS got 60,33%,PPS got 57,07%, FIK got 56,52%, FH got 52,72%, FBS got 49,46%, TIK got 40,38%, BPB got 34,62%, Library got 30,13%, Archive got 17,31%. From these results, it can be seen that there is a lack of maximum achievement due to, among others, the lack of guidance and technical assistance in the management of the unit. So it is necessary to complete governance guidelines and technical assistance that are more intensive in unit governance to achieve the goals of UNNES as a green campus. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

As a form of sportification of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), eSport are revolutionizing the video game and sports industry in the digital transformation era. Applying Self-Determination Theory (SDT), this study aims to try to understand the relationship between the motivations that make people 'eSport fans' with their behavior in supporting eSport so that it has an impact on the level of individual innovative behavior. Using Partial Least Squares -Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) as a data analysis approach with the Smart PLS 3 tool was carried out in this study. A survey was conducted among 100 people to investigate their behavior related to eSport at the level of individual innovative behavior. The findings indicate that eSport as intrinsic motivation has a larger role in idea exploration, idea generation, and idea championing than in idea implementation. This contributes to applying SDT in the context of eSport and innovative behavior. © 2023 IEEE.

Despite being an efficient bioremediation agent, aquatic biofilm's usefulness as a biomonitor has not been explored extensively. This study disclosed the potential of epilithic biofilm as biomonitor by comparing its metagenomics with water quality parameters and microplastic count in Brantas River. Metagenomics showed the epilithic biofilm was dominated by Exiguobacterium, which recognizes and degrades microplastics, along with Rhodobacterium and Rhizobiales. For the first time, biofilm microbes and their respective roles were discovered to correspond to the total microplastic counts in comparison with BOD as the only transgressing physicochemical parameter. Thus, epilithic biofilm is a potential biomonitor for riverine microplastic contaminations. © 2024 The Author(s)

Lembang fault is an active fault that may trigger earthquakes and landslides in the North Bandung area. The movement of the fault is on the mainland, theLembang fult is still being debated even though an earthquake has been recorded which may have originated from this fault. The epicenter in the Cihideung area, in addition to tectonic influences, the activity of the Lembang fault is also thought to be influenced by volcanism which can affect the mechanism of fault movement. Tectonic processes play an essential role in the formation of the morphology of an area. The Lembang fault is a normal fault that was formed as a result of tectonic activity in the Neogene sge, located in the northern part of Bandung, stretching for 30 km in a west-east direction, the existence of this fault has shaped the morphology of the Lembang plains to the north and forms a hilly path trending west-east to the north. South. Tectonic geomorphology is the main factor that controls the development of landforms in active tectonic areas and have a significant influence on the natural features of mountains and watersheds which are located east of the Lembang fault, Cikapundung, and Cikeruh. Trending northwest-southeast geomorphic indication analysis is used to study tectonic activity in the study area in the form of basin shape (Bs), watersheds gradient index (SL), drainage basin asymmetry (Af), mountain face sinuosity (SMF) and valley floor width to valley height ratio (Vf). These geomorphic indication variables are combined to produce degrees of relative tectonic activity in the research area which can be divided into four classes;class 1 has a very high relative tectonic activity index, class 2 has a relatively high tectonic activity index, class 3 has a relatively moderate tectonic activity index, and class 4 has a relatively low tectonic activity index, field observation data in the form of the landform and geology of the research area support these results. © 2023 ACRS. Characteristics of Lantung Fiber and the Effect of Alkali Treatment and Water Absorption on the Mechanical Properties of Lantung Fiber Reinforced Composites

This study aims to investigate the effect of alkali treatment and water absorption on the mechanical properties of composites reinforced with lantung fibers. Lantung fibers were alkali-treated for one and two hours at room temperature using 4% and 6% sodium hydroxide solutions. Composite samples reinforced with lantung fibers were prepared by the hand lay-up method. The composite samples were soaked in distilled water at 60°C for 1080 hours or 45 days. All samples were subjected to tensile tests, flexural tests, and impact tests based on ASTM D638-02, D790-02, and D5942-96 standards. Alkali treatment was proven to be effective in improving the mechanical properties of lantung fiber reinforced composites. Lantung fibers soaked in 4% sodium hydroxide solution for 2 hours gave the highest mechanical properties. The initial absorption process of lantung fiber reinforced composites soaked in distilled water at 60°C was found to approach the Fickian diffusion behavior. Following an hour-long immersion in a 6% sodium hydroxide solution, lantung fibers had the lowest diffusion coefficient of 9.15x10-12 m2/s and the highest water content of 4.89%. The mechanical properties of lantung fiber reinforced composites showed insignificant decrease in impact, flexural, and tensile strength after water absorption so that lantung fiber is recommended for use in wet environmental conditions. © 2025 Jordan Journal of Mechanical and Industrial engineering.
