Building data centers using Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Microprocessor Operating Systems

Computer Laboratory of the University of Technology Sumbawa still does not have a Data Center, in the process of learning and teaching experiencing several obstacles one of which is the difficulty in sharing files between computers. The research objective is to build a Data Center at the Computer Laboratory of the University of Technology Sumbawa with the aim of facilitating practicum participants in sharing files between computer system devices. The method used in this research is the network development method Prepare, Plan, design, Implement, Operate, Optimize (PPDIOO). The results of NAS tests on different devices give results that are file access connections via wireless and LAN can run well and by producing Data Centers at the Computer Laboratory of the University of Technology Sumbawa can facilitate the process of storing cheap and efficient data.

Data Mining is a method that is often needed in large-scale data processing, so data mining has important access to the fields of life including industry, finance, weather, science and technology. In data mining techniques there are methods that can be used, namely classification, clustering, regression, variable selection, and market basket analysis. Illiteracy is one of the factors that hinder the quality of human resources. One of the fundamental things that must be fulfilled to improve the quality of human resources is the eradication of illiteracy among the community. The purpose of this research is to determine the clustering of illiterate communities. The results of the study are illiterate data clustering according to the age proportion of 15+, namely 1 node of the high group, the low group has 23 nodes, and the medium group of 10 nodes. The results of this study become input for the government to determine illiteracy eradication policies in Indonesia based on provinces

Spam filters have become an important tool for ISP(Internet service Provider) to address the growing spam in cyberspace. Spam filtering is a program used to detect spam, prevent it and enter users' mailboxes. With the rapid growth of Internet technology, email communication is becoming increasingly important in people's daily lives. In addition, the amount of spam contained in emails has increased considerably in recent years. In this study, the authors will compare the performance of the decision tree classification models using or not using Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) in spam filtering. The results of this test will be compared with the results of level accuracy, recall, precision, and F 1 Score using or not using the RFE method. where in the results of this level measurement, the model used can be a reference or solution to filter spam correctly, especially through the use of supervised learning data.

The information system project must be built with the right processes as especially the project management. The Right Management Project will create a good and right product. And also will reach optimal satisfy users. So we must management the project very well. In management project have triple constraints that are scope, time and cost management. In this research manage scope, time and cost of project management plan to develop manufacture information system with study case on a company that manufacture plastic bag because the stakeholder want to know how complete the application will be built and how long it will be take and how much it will be cost to develop manufacture information system. It is done to minimize project failures before start to develop. So the researches focus to manage scope, time and cost of project management to develop manufacture information system. This paper present outputs from our research such as product scope, project scope, work breakdown structure (wbs), project duration which are equipped with predecessor and milestones, Gantt chart tables, as well as project cost estimates.

The objective of the research was to analyze the clustering method by optimizing Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) in the case of measles immunization for children under the age of 5. The research data source used is the North Sumatra Province Central Bureau of Statistics (https://***/). The data used in 2019 included 33 records with variables BCG, DPT-HB3/DPT-HB/Hib3, CAMPAK (MEASLES + RUBELLA), POLIO 4 and HEPATITIS B. The methods used were k-medoids and PSOs. This method is used to determine the value of the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) before the cluster value is determined (k). The resulting k values were compared to k-medoids without PSO. The best results of k-medoid and PSO will be tested by classification to see the accuracy value of the cluster formed. The results showed that the optimization of k-medoids and PSO was better with the number of clusters (k = 5) than 0.078. (DBI). The results also show that the accuracy of the cluster formed is 95% with a correlation of 0.98.

Data mining is a technique of extracting information that has not been known before in a collection of data in the database. Data mining has been applied in various fields that require extracting information, some of the work that can be generated with data mining is classification, prediction, and data grouping. In this study, an analysis of village data collection was carried out to explore the potential or knowledge of the data that has been presented with the main objective of producing a grouping of village status. To support clustering or grouping activities the K-means algorithm used with the general process is to carry out the modeling process without supervision and is one of the methods for grouping data with a system partition, with the principle of allocating each data to the centroid or the closest average, work steps conducted in support of this research is to collect data related to the analysis of data grouping and proceed with the calculation process in accordance with the work steps of the K-means algorithm, the amount of data used as a test of 303 villages scattered in the old Padang regency. The results of calculations by displaying a new group of Cluster 0 is occupied by 120 villages, cluster 1 with a total data of 123 villages, Cluster 2 with a total of 6 villages, cluster 3 with a total of 33 villages while cluster 4 with a total of 21.

The research objective of this is to see how to apply science practicum online using Microsoft Teams and Learning Management System (LMS). The form of this research is classroom action research which aims to apply the online science practicum during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, it is carried out using two cycles in the application of online science practicum. The subjects of this study were students of the seventh semester in the Natural Science practicum course. Through observation and evaluation, it is shown that in the cycle I the percentage of practicum implementation which includes aspects of preparation, process and data and practicum results is 87.5%, in cycle II it has increased to 92.5%. In the assessment aspect of the practicum report, the average practicum assessment obtained in the first cycle was 3.09 from the highest score of 4 and in the second cycle was 3.7, while the aspect of student knowledge about the use of the Microsoft team which was taken using google form was 93%. In the aspect of student knowledge about the use of Learning Management System (LMS) by 75% and aspects of student understanding in the implementation of online science practicum using Microsoft Teams by 75%.

Communication is important in human life because communication can bridge all forms of ideas to be conveyed by someone. And the communication media commonly used today are via mobile phones, which can be via SMS messages, WhatsApp, or telephone. The problem is, in some areas the absence of signals or blank spots is a problem for those who rely on communication via mobile phones. For this reason, it is necessary to optimize the short message media in the Arduino and Bluetooth-based blank spot areas. Here the main goal is to make it easier for humans to communicate via mobile phones even in difficult conditions and without a data packet or WIFI signal. The tools used are android, the Lo-Ra module as a long-distance wireless transmission technology platform that can reach distances of 10km, and then also use the Arduino Pro Mini as a microcontroller board and Bluetooth terminal that functions to transmit data from android to Arduino and then forward it to Lo Ra. From the test results, it was found that this tool works well in the blank spot area or difficult to signal, without the need for data packages or WIFI we can still communicate well through the short message media on the cell phone. The successful implementation of smart grids depends on energy efficiency, mostly relying on the operation of electricity source infrastructure. The combination of energy sources undoubtedly provides complexity in real applications. Some of the challenges for a smart grids comes from the intermittent renewable energy characteristics such as bioenergy, geothermal, hydropower, solar, ocean power, and wind energy to the base load energy such as natural gas, coal, and nuclear. This paper aims to review the implementation of current advances of smart grids from combined energy mix sources. The review includes major components of smart grids, i.e. power plants, monitoring systems, substations, power transmission and distribution, controllers and smart meters. The review also investigates the state of the art contribution of power electronics, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things to more significant optimization, safety and efficiency in these areas. The results are expected to provide a further gap analysis of applicable technologies and best practices in mixed electricity generation sources. The final result will also consider its application in an archipelago country such as Indonesia.

Safety and comfort are things that everyone wants to get on a trip. Every tourist who wants a vacation to one of the tourist destinations will prioritize these two things. Leisure in travel is influenced by the availability of supporting facilities. From accommodation, restaurants to facilities provided by tourism actors in each tourism object. One problem is the lack of facilities in attractions such as luggage storage (lockers), many tourists in enjoying tourism objects carrying luggage such as backpacks; groceries to backpacks for tourists are classified as backpackers. Of course this will disrupt the comfort of traveling. In the research conducted, researchers wanted to design a system of goods storage services as a form of supporting industry 4.0 in the tourism environment. By designing an image of the storage media of goods by implementing access control for doors in each locker based on image processing supported by a microcontroller. The method used that focuses on facial recognition as image input using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method, which can measure the Euclidean distance in an object's face image. The design as a blueprint makes it easier to develop the next item of storage media (lockers).The results of this study indicate that the facial recognition method used is able to extract facial features and be recalibrated to activate the locker that is owned by the face object.
