Numerical Simulation of Spear Motion as Game Items

Game development in 3D is mostly done by characters, items and the environment. Game items such as character weapons modeled in 3D will be the attraction of a game. In this paper, spear motion as a game items is modeled in 3D. Nonlinear Equations Six Degrees of Freedom (6 DOF) are used for mathematical models of spear motion. The parameters studied in the motion model are: geometry, mass and aerodynamics. Spear aerodynamic parameters were analyzed using the Datcom method. Numerical simulation of mathematical models of spear motion with variations in the initial velocity of the throw and the direction of the throw. From the results of numerical simulation, the maximum range R = 131.7 m at the initial velocity V0 = 40 m/s, the direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle 0 = 10 deg, ψ0 = 0 deg). And the maximum height Hmax = 12.18 m is achieved at the initial velocity V0 = 20 m/s, direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle 0 = 40 deg, angle ψ0 = 0 deg).

Central Java has the largest teak land area in Java Island. It is about two-thirds of teak land area on Java Island is located in Central Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the classification of factors that influence the production of teak trees in Central Java with the Commercial Version 5.0 (C5.0) algorithm. This algorithm is a refinement of the ID3 and C4.5 algorithms. The C5.0 algorithm works by separating samples based on attributes that have the highest information gain. The results of the study show that there are three classification rules produced with an 81.8% accuracy rate.

Fuzzy Logic used as an act to describe problem from input into expected output. One part of Fuzzy logic is Fuzzy multiple attribute decision making in deciding weighted alternative Score and importance criteria rating meanwhile Weighted product method is to evaluate so in deciding employee performance by multiplying to correlate with attribute rating, rating for each attribute must be powered by number with related weighted attribute and that process is same with normalization process. The result of implementation of Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) by using Weighted Product (WP) Algorithm in valuating employee performance which conducted once a year which obtained from performance valuation of system valuation at CV. Mulya Karya Baru. By conducting sample from data which obtained from data. This research can create and develop an application which can help user to rank the employee performance.

The objective of this research was to analyze integrated geospatial data using MODIS Satellite data and field data observation to the determination of potential fish area. This study applied in Makassar Strait 118° 0' 0' E-119° 37' 0' E, 3°0'0' S – 4°45'0' S. The methods of this research was conducted using MODIS combine the depth of map waters survey direct interviews and people who participate in fishing activities monthly in January, February, March, April, May, and June. Data were analyzed by using software: Statistics, SeaDas, ENVI, and GIS. The result showed that the horizontal distribution of sea surface temperature (SST) spread evenly or divergent. The distribution of sea temperature in the coastal area was relatively warm in the sea around Barru and Pangkep was ranged 31 to 32 °C. Sea surface temperature dominates in the range of 30 - 31°C. SST correlation coefficient was 0.79 between MODIS and value of observation field data.

Background Neuropsychiatric symptoms are common in Alzheimer’s disease (AD), causing significant suffering and diminished quality of life for both individuals and caregivers. The goal of this study was to investigate the relationship between tau pathology in vivo and neuropsychiatric symptoms within a cohort of individuals of predominantly Mexican ancestry at risk for fully penetrant autosomal dominant AD (ADAD) caused by mutations in PSEN1 and APP genes (Figure 1). Method Participants from the Estudio de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer en Jalisciences (EEAJ) cohort were selected based on availability of demographic variables, mutation carrier status, tau PET scans (flortaucipir), and completion of the neuropsychiatric inventory (NPI). Linear regression models were used to investigate whether regional tau PET standard uptake value ratio (SUVR) predicted total score on the NPI. Models were adjusted for age, sex, and mutation carrier status. Participants were characterized as carriers if they possessed one of the following ADAD mutations: PSEN1 A431E, PSEN1 I180F, or APP V717I. Analyses were done with and without outliers. The 12-item total NPI score was used for all analyses. The primary brain regions of interest (i.e., medial orbitofrontal, caudal anterior cingulate, rostral anterior cingulate, parahippocampal, precuneus, and lateral occipital) were selected based on previous findings. Additional analyses were conducted only on individuals who were carriers of 1 of the ADAD mutations. Result The sample consisted of 31 participants (45% women, mean age±SD = 37.1±11.7 years, 71% ADAD mutation carriers [81% PSEN1 A431E, 16% PSEN1 I180F, and 3% APP V717I carriers]). A significant relationship was found between regional tau pathology and neuropsychiatric symptoms for all six brain regions (Table 1), all p’s < 0.01. The advancement of today's learning technology makes the learning process no longer fully bases on face to face learning, but can achieve by online learning. Online learning is not only useful in overcoming deficiencies in conventional classroom learning, but also a means to meet the learning styles of students who are less fond of and/or dislike face-to-face learning. On the other hand, the main disadvantage of online learning is the lack of face-to-face interaction, while the strength of face-to-face learning is the intensity of student interaction with teachers, the ease of cooperative learning and the clarity of learning materials. In turn, the superiorities on face-to-face learning and online self-learning can be acquired by blended learning. However, blended learning is a learning solution by taking the best advantage of face-to-face classroom learning and online learning. Blended learning has been a learning solution of today's learning. In this study, two blended learning that has different learning content portions between the portion of face-to-face learning materials and online self-learning was conducted to find out which blended learning results produce better pedagogy between two blended learning, and how well the learning outcomes of blended learning are, especially for Algorithm and programming subject. The research results showed the blended learning with 60% face-to-face learning content and 40% online self-learning content delivers learning cognitive competency outcomes worse than 40% face-to-face learning content and 60% online self-learning content. The learning outcome of both blended learning is good, that is greater than 60% from the ideal number.

This study aims to develop a product such as "Digital storytelling of Physics (DiS-Phy)" that can be used as a physics' educational media for distance learning (PJJ) on magnetic field material. DiS-Phy developed as a digital storytelling media which is able to combine several learning media such as writing, pictures and learning videos in one medium. The developed DiS-Phy also equipped with scientific literacy questions. DiS-Phy can be accessed on all types of distance learning devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets that are connected to the internet. DiS-Phy including the type of research and development (Research & Development) which refers to the ASSURE model. The result of validation test shows the percentages of 91,07%, according to subject-matter expert, 93,16%, according to media expert and 87,50% according to learning expert. DiS-Phy also tested by 4 physics teachers at senior high school in Jakarta that achieved 92,57% points that make this product has been qualified as a worthy physics' distance learning device. Also of 35 as respondents in this study shows the percentages of 87,48% points that make this product worthy to use as an educational media. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the DiS-Phy has been qualified as a worthy physics' distance learning device for teachers and students.

Objectives: To evaluate changes in the age at menarche in Asian populations. study design: Retrospective cohort study. Methods: We included 548,830 women from six countries in Asia. The data were sourced from 20 cohorts participating in the Asia Cohort Consortium (ACC) and two additional cohort studies: Japan Multi-institutional Collaborative Cohorts (J-MICC), and Japan Nurse Health study (JNHS) with data on age at menarche. Joinpoint regression was used to evaluate changes in age at menarche by birth year and by country. Results: The study includes data from cohorts in six Asian countries namely, China, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Birth cohorts ranged from 1873 to 1995. The mean age of menarche was 14.0 years with a standard deviation (SD) of 1.4 years, ranged from 12.6 to 15.5 years. Over 100 years age at menarche showed an overall decrease in all six countries. China showed a mixed pattern of decrease, increase, and subsequent decrease from 1926 to 1960. Iran and Malaysia experienced a sharp decline between about 1985 and 1990, with APC values of −4.48 and −1.24, respectively, while Japan, South Korea, and Singapore exhibited a nearly linear decline since the 1980s, notably with an APC of −3.41 in Singapore from 1993 to 1995. Conclusions: Overall, we observed a declining age at menarche, while the pace of the change differed by country. Additional long-term observation is needed to examine the contributing factors of differences in trend across Asian countries. The study could serve as a tool to strengthen global health campaigns. © 2024 The Royal Society for Public Health

Majors systems in an educational institution both at the primary level and higher education are the main thing. The academic potential of students becomes one of the main factors in supporting the success of learning. Even in an admission system, entrance test cannot be separated from the potential academic test. The academic potential test is only used as a standard of acceptance, and very rarely even never used to be information that can classify students into a specialization. Analysis of potential academic data with various variables will be very much so that required Data Mining techniques to mining of the larger data. The purpose of this research is to implement of Data Mining technique with classification approach to analyze academic potency in the major supports system management. The classification technique is applied as the object of research and measured its performance to obtain information according to the needs and objectives of the study. The results showed that the implementation of classification techniques could provide information that indicates the academic potential in major support system management, so this research can be a reference to create a system of potential academic search in general and can be implemented as an applicable tool in major support system management.

The rapid growth of internet users in Indonesia in the last decade has implications in almost all aspects of life including the growing use of the internet to download music. This phenomenon attracts the attention of music business stakeholders. Many researchers have developed a Technology Adoption Model (TAM) that incorporates aspects beyond the technology into the model, which came to be known as Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), and subsequently refined into the UTAUT-2 model. There is a gap between the results of research that is very likely due to differences in the objects studied, differences in moderation variables, and variations of the antecedents themselves. However, there have been no reports of research results using UTAUT-2 model for e-commerce music. The general objective of this research is to propose the appropriate model of UTAUT-2 for music e-commerce, and examine the effect of seven antecedent variables on behavior intention variables and their impact on use behavior. This quantitative research uses SEM techniques with 400 ordinal data taken from survey. Three of seven proposed variables which are accepted as antecedent variables of behavior intention are performance expectation, music piracy judgment and habit. For academics, the results of this research provide an alternative UTAUT model, specifically for music business. While for the online music business, the results of this research provide guidance on how to increase music business that ultimately boosts online music subscription. © 2017 IEEE.
