In recent years, assistive technologies have been adopted rapidly worldwide to increase quality treatments for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including in Indonesia. However, adaption to a local context, e.g., using a local language, is needed to optimize the benefits. This study proposes an Indonesian version of an application technology called the media of visual communication for children with ASD (MIKA). The application development integrates agile scrum and user-centered design methodologies. The design and implementation are tested multiple times in the sprint reviews and usability evaluation to assure that the end product meets the standards of a therapy tool. MIKA offers a communication learning facility based on treatment and education of autistic and communication handicapped children (TEACCH) principles, a progress tracking and reporting feature, and a personalized content management tool based on user history and learning progress. ASD professionals, i.e., therapies and counselors, who participated in the sprint reviews and evaluations, acknowledged the advantages of using a tech-based therapy tool and the willingness to adopt MIKA. The MIKA project is in progress, targeting better facilitation of early childhood special education, and is now focusing on corrective maintenance and perfective improvements based on feedback from users and evaluators.

There are numbers of lemmas in the Bangka Dialect of Malay (BDoM) Dictionary. However, tracking the lemmas that have been used before is an impractical work because there are thousands of lemmas that must be traced one by one. This research intends to minimize the search burden of many lemma data using the Kohonen network. By using the Kohonen network, it is sufficient to do training on the sample data provided which is far less than the actual data. The result of this training is then used to obtain the number of lemmas that are successfully identified by the Kohonen network. The result can also be used to propose a lemma so that the status of acceptance of the proposed lemma can be determined. The overall result that is variable is obtained because of the optimization used. From the test result, it is also found that there is no linear relationship between the level of learning rate and the number of names that were successfully identified. Further research that can be done are the inclusion of non-BDoM lemma training data, changing Kohonen network parameters, or using other recognition methods. © 2020 IEEE.

Mustard greens are a vegetable that is very popular with people, especially hydroponic mustard greens, which appear fresher. However, like other vegetables, mustard greens grown hydroponically are also susceptible to pests and diseases, which can cause the vegetables to lose their freshness and may even result in crop failure. This condition can cause losses for mustard greens farmers in running their businesses. This research proposes an information system that represents the expertise of hydroponic mustard greens farmers in diagnosing pests and diseases in mustard plants as well as solutions to overcome them. This is to make it easier for novice growers and anyone interested in learning about diseases or pests that impact hydroponic mustard greens. The expert system developed is web-based and functions as a user consultation medium in relation to mustard pests and diseases using the forward chaining and certainy factor method to explain the decision tree procedure for mustard plant disease symptoms. With this expert system, farmers do not need to look for people who can explain the problems they face. We found that there were 10 types of pests and diseases and 29 symptoms in the hydroponic mustard plants reviewed in this research.

The technological revolution had a significant impact on people's lifestyles. With the development of technology, more and more social media are being created. Social media that is now widely used, namely Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc. is one indication of the increasing use of the internet and people's need for online shopping. Currently, almost all social media have implemented live streaming and even shop features, which can increase usage and consumption rates, especially for Generation Z. Generation Z has an open way of thinking and likes instant things, including shopping. Apart from the convenience provided by social media, various impacts help Generation Z in making purchasing decisions. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out whether the role of social media can help Generation Z in making purchasing decisions, with the risks that exist in social media. With a sample of 300 respondents including Generation Z, who make purchasing decisions online, this research was collected through a quantitative survey method. The results of the questionnaire data will be analyzed using IBM SPSS version 28, while the model and structural measurements are analyzed using SmartPLS 4. The results of data collection show that Generation Z, in making purchasing decisions, does not care about the risks involved. Perceived risks are considered insignificant, but the theory holds that it is significant to consumers. Therefore, future research should consider whether the role of social media use in Generation Z has a different risk perception.

The development of technology in financial sector has change the monetary transaction system in the world. Currently, there are many banks provide services in digital banking because it is convenience to the users and, it has simplifies the movement and less time required compared to non-digital banking transaction. However, the side back of the digital banking to users are such as many frauds committed through digital banking, leaks or theft of users' data, when top-up balances are held up, interruptions when making transfers, and others. According to the OJK, with this digital transformation, cyber security attacks have increased by up to 86.70%. Therefore, it is important to seek and examine the awareness of digital banking users related to the risk and security of digital banking. 104 respondents participated in the self-administered questionnaire and we used a descriptive analysis to measure the level of awareness of risk and security of using digital banking. The descriptive results shows that more than 75% of respondents agree and are aware that digital banks have a fairly high-security risk, when doing top-ups there are frequent interruptions or pending, and the account is easy to access by anyone who knows our account. In addition, more than 15% of respondents feel that traditional banks have a higher risk, and fraud that occurs in digital banks does not occur often. The results of the study provides a preliminary information to the reader about the awareness of the digital banking in the context of Greater Jakarta.

This work studies formation control of Multi-Agent systems (MASs) where its formation size is scalable via a scaling factor (scalable formation). Previous works on scalable formation are limited to either fixed undirected graph or fixed directed graph with p-rooted graph condition. This work proposes a novel distributed algorithm for scalable formation based on a distributed observer to estimate agents' positions. The novel algorithm results in a new matrix, a Laplacian matrix with additional diagonal terms, where the desired formation pattern is embedded in this diagonal terms. With the proposed algorithm, only spanning tree condition is needed as the necessary and sufficient condition to achieve the scalable formation. Numerical examples are shown to illustrate the proposed method. © 2020 IEEE.

Learning to write in children requires the child's habit of using a pencil to write on paper. The manual method has drawbacks such as the use of a lot of paper when children have to study harder to keep repeating the exercises and also cannot be done online remotely. In addition to this, writing exercises on the touchscreen can also train children to be more skilled at using the touchscreen. To overcome these problems, the author will discuss the use of handwriting recognition technology to practice writing capital letters (A-H), where the technology will be built on a web-based basis. The recognition algorithm used is K-NN. Testing the use of the website was carried out at Tunas Mekar Sari Kindergarten, Denpasar. The identification number and result will be stored on the web server. Based on the experiment, it was found that from 80 image data, the K-NN algorithm succeeded in providing accurate recognition results on 60 image data, and obtained an accuracy of 78.75%.

Along with technological improvements, online shopping is currently developing quickly. Online shops started by selling electronics, clothing, food, and home appliances and continue to evolve, selling various things. Currently, digital marketing has a novel technique, namely live shopping, where sellers can present, promote and offer their products directly through live streaming on social media and e-commerce platforms. This research will focus on gaining insight into the factors influencing customers to watch and purchase through live streaming. This research is an early-stage study of exploring and searching for research models. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing similar previous research articles. Several variable components were used in this study. The findings of the factors include visibility capacity, meta-vocation capacity, purchase orientation capacity, social presence, price, perceived product quality, perceived enjoyment, purchase orientation, perceived usefulness, and intention to buy. These factors were tested and proved to be valid with Cronbach's Alpha value being more than 0.5 and reliable with the value of the loading factor a greater than 0.6. Criteria The factors of the findings for further analysis of the relationship between factors and other variables. © 2023 IEEE.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a type of dementia that leads to memory loss and impairment, which affects patients' lives badly. It is not curable yet, but its progression can be slowed down if detected at earlier stages. In this research study, we propose a transfer learning-based convolutional neural network (CNN) model to classify magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) into one of four stages of Alzheimer's disease. One of the major limitations of the deep learning-based classification model is the non-availability of healthcare datasets related to AD. The widely used Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset has a major class imbalance issue. We propose a generative adversarial network (GAN) based data augmentation technique to overcome the data imbalance. This promotes the investigation of applying GANs to generate synthetic samples for minority classes in Alzheimer's disease datasets to enhance classification performance. The results show the progression in the overall classification process of AD. © 2024 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
