Teachers and prospective teachers must be technology-educated, they are equipped with technology-based that vary in knowledge which will be taught to the next industrial revolution 4.0 generation. This study aims to create a technology-educated prospective teacher. Applying Google Classroom, the teacher can distribute the assignments to give grades in one place. The target of the implementation is to increase the level of technological literacy of prospective teachers in teaching. The research is quantitative research with the data collection using a questionnaire in pretest-posttest. The results showed that there is an increase in the ability of prospective teachers after implementing of Google Classroom and prospective teachers respond well to the implementation of Google Classroom on learning. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In Indonesia, Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren and Cryptotermes cyanocephalus Light termite attacks can damage wood and causing losses of 8.7 trillion rupiah per year. Wood treatment and soil barrier are very important to protect structures and their components from termite infestation. The application of synthetic chemicals that pose risks to the environment and human health. The growing movement to replace these chemicals with new termiticides that are safe for the environment in place of persistent organic pollutants. Efficacy performance in entomopathogenic fungi spores such as that produce decanoic acid, hexadecanoic acid, palmitic acid, and octadecadienoic acid are potential compounds that provide for ecofriendly termite control. Entomopathogenic fungal spores from Metarhizium anisopliae, Trichoderma harzianum, and Beauveria bassiana, as the active ingredient were formulated with nanocellulose was added as an inert ingredient to which helped to deliver the active ingredients on controlling the target pest, and enhance the utility ability of the product fungi to control termites. The mortality of these termites successively entomopathogenic fungi was the main cause of death. The higher concentrations being associated with of nanocellulose used affect increased the number of termites mortality. M. anisopliae paired with 60% nanocellulose concentrate was the best percentage for yielded the greatest C. curvignathus and C. cynocephalus termite control. In the field testing, M. anisopliae provided better, it showed the finest result of termite control rather than B. bassiana and T. harzianum. The results of the research indicate that entomopathogenic fungi can be used for Pest Control Management as the subterranean termite and drywood termite control. © 2024 The Korean Society of Wood Science & Technology.

Students' conceptions sometimes differ from those of physicists, necessitating teachers to incorporate detection methods in their instructional planning to mitigate these disparities. This study aimed to create a 4-Tier Diagnostic Fluid Static Test (4T-DFST) tool and assess students' conceptual understanding of static fluid topics. This research follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE model (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating). In essence, the four-tier diagnostic test format comprises four distinct levels. The instruments were deemed valid and reliable based on validity and reliability tests, yielding results of 0.60 and 0.79, respectively. Both expert validation and calculations confirm the suitability of the developed 4T-DFST for implementation. This research represents an advancement by focusing on static fluid material, whereas prior research concentrated solely on mechanics material with minimal attention to static fluid concepts. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. One of the developments of online learning device needed to implement distance learning at home is to prepare a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for independent learning with a direct learning model to activate students. This study aims to know the validity of RPP of independent learning on Thermodynamics subjects using the direct learning model. The type of this research is research and development, which refers to the 4-D model are defines, designs, develops, and disseminates. The research instrument used in this search was a validation sheet for experts with validation tests in the form of filling out validity questionnaires then analyzed with a Likert scale. The results of the validity test in the research as a whole obtained a percentage of validity from media experts (88%), material experts (91%), and learning experts (92%) with interpretation of the Likert scale included in the criteria very feasible to use. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the development of RPP of independent learning on Thermodynamics subject using the direct learning model can be applied in physics learning conducted online. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the POW model in improving students' conceptual understanding of the topic of fluids. The research sample consisted of 25 students from Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The results of the data analysis showed that the average score on the initial test was 11.24, and the average score on the final test was 25.00. Analysis using N-Gain obtained a value of 83.74 or on the high criteria. Many students need to understand that hydrostatic pressure only depends on the depth of the fluid. Hydrostatic pressure depends on the specific gravity of the fluid and the depth of the *** analysis used the t-test using the SPSS application at a significance level of 0.05 with the prerequisite tests for normality and homogeneity. Sig obtained the results of the problem-solving statistical test. = 0.000 and understanding of the Sig. = 0.000 with the criteria to accept Ho if Sig. > 0.05 and reject H0 if Sig. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. Advances in exoplanet research need to be balanced with basic skills in analyzing laws related to the solar system. This study discusses the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model on exoplanet material in online learning using the Zoom application. In this study, using a pre-test and post-test to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning model on exoplanet material in online learning. This research method uses experimental methods and uses a qualitative approach. The descriptive type of qualitative method was chosen in this study to collect data about the actual conditions. Data collection techniques in this study used a pre-test and post-test to determine the extent of discovery learning model on exoplanet material in distance learning. In this study used the paired samples T-test. Based on the results of the evaluation that was carried out on 20 students of Public High School 51 in Jakarta, Indonesia using the pre-test and post-test, it was found that discovery learning model on exoplanet materials effective for distance learning. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Separation of regional anomalies and residual anomalies are important steps in processing magnetic data. The better separation of the two anomalies resulting data which can be easily interpreting. The most commonly used in the separation of regional-residual anomalies is the upward continuation method. In this study, we used synthetic models I (consists of four blocks with different depths) and II (consists of four blocks with different susceptibility) to determine the height of uplift in the upward continuation method. The results obtained by the appointment that illustrate the regional anomaly in the model I are 50 to 90 meters, while model II at the lift height of 20 to 60 meters. The model I shows the lifting results of 50 to 90 meters almost close to the regional anomaly response which has a range of anomalous value of-0.703-2.408 nT. Among 50-90 meters, the lifting height of 90 m is closest to the contour and range of regional component anomalies. Model II shows the lift results that are close to the regional anomaly response at 20 to 60 meters. Model II shows the lift results that approach regional anomalies (-7,780-18,012 nT) at 20 to 60 meters, which most closely approximates the regional component anomaly range is the lifting of 40 meters with-6,152-16,629 nT. The correlation between these two models is very useful for analyzing the earth's magnetic field signal. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This research aims to develop a connected Massive Open Online Course (cMOOCs) based on multimedia for thermodynamics subject to improve students' self-directed learning outcomes. Self-directed learning is for students to improve skill, gain achievement and knowledge, or self development and taken by self effort with any methods in any situation;ability to determine a learning goal, take an action to achieve that goal and evaluate learning effectivity of learning and learning outcomes. cMOOCs is an open online course that is free for many users to participate. This research subject is Thermodynamics related to heat and calor, temperature, thermodynamics laws, and energy exchange. This research method used ADDIE model with the following steps: Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating. Research was conducted in Physics education departement, State University of Jakarta for six months, started from October 2018 until April 2019. Students' self-directed learning outcomes improvement test was conducted by pre-test and post-test in two classes (class A and class B) with n-gain result of class A by 0.75 (high) and class B by 0.34 (medium). Results of validation test showed score 93.33% for material validation, 92.59% for media validation, and 92.60% for learning validation. It can be concluded that developed cMOOCs can improve students' self-directed learning outcomes. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

The problem in this research was whether there was an effect of using a reciprocal teaching model on mathematics creative thinking ability of grade VIII students. The objective of this research was to find out the effect of using a reciprocal teaching model on mathematics creative thinking ability of grade VIII students. This research used quantitative method with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population in this research was all of grade VIII which consisted of two parallel classes. Sample in this research took those two classes where VIIIA as experimental class and class VIIIB as control class. The instrument used in this research was test. The research outcome obtained was mean score of the experimental class was 73.28. Meanwhile, at the control class, it obtained mean score was 62.10. from hypothesis test result with using t-test obtained tcount = 5.082 with df = 30 sig. (2-tailed) at 0.000 0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The application of reciprocal teaching-learning approach had an effect on mathematic creative thinking ability of grade VIII students year 2017/2018. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This article reports the findings of one pretest-posttest design experiment with the control group and with GeoGebra software learning application to examine the mathematical understanding abilities and responses of students taking Geometry Transformation course. The subjects of this study were 24 students of mathematics education study program in Universitas Langlangbuana. The research instrument consisted of a mathematical comprehension ability test and a student response questionnaire. Based on data analysis using SPSS 2.0.0 and Microsoft Excel 2013, the study found that achievement and improvement in mathematical understanding skills and responses of students who received learning with GeoGebra software were better than achievement and improvement in student's ability who obtain conventional approach for the high, middle and low categories. The study also found a moderate relationship between mathematical understanding ability and student response. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
