Jonathan Weiss received his B.A. degree in Geological Sciences from the State University of New York in 1977 and his M.S. degree in Geology from The Ohio State University in 1982. He began employment with the U.S. Geological Survey in Ohio in 1979. He transferred to Au7stin Texas in 1982 to work on the Gulf Coast Regional Aquifer-System Analysis project. Alex E. Williamson completed undergraduate studies in Geography and Engineering at the University of California Berkeley and Western Washington State University with a B.S. degree in 1975. Upon graduation he began working for the U.S. Geological Survey in Sacramento California and he received an M.A. degree in Water Resources Engineering from California State University Sacramento in 1981. In 1978 he began working on the Central Valley Aquifer project of the national Regional Aquifer-System Analysis (RASA) program. Upon completion of that study in 1983 he transferred to Austin Texas to work on the Gulf Coast RASA.
