Refined modeling and experimental verification of a torque motor for an electro-hydraulic servo valve

The Permanent Magnet Torque Motor(PMTM)is the key electro-mechanical conversion device in an Electro-Hydraulic Servo Valve(EHSV).In this work,a refined model of a PMTM is developed,considering the non-working air-gaps between the upper or lower yoke and the armature,the fringing effect at the limiting holes,and the nonlinear permeability of soft magnetic *** on the refined model,the influences of various factors on the calculation accuracy of the magnetic flux at the pole surfaces of the armature and the output torque are *** verifying the validity of the refined model,a Finite Element Analysis(FEA)of the PMTM is conducted,and a test platform is *** with existing models,the refined model can better reveal the intrinsic mechanism of the PMTM,and its calculations are more consistent with the FEA *** experimental results of the armature deflection displacement show that the refined model can accurately describe the output characteristics of the PMTM.

Oscillations caused by small-signal instability have been widely observed in AC grids with grid-following(GFL)and grid-forming(GFM)*** generalized short-circuit ratio is commonly used to assess the strength of GFL converters when integrated with weak AC systems at risk of *** paper provides the grid strength assessment method to evaluate the small-signal synchronization stability of GFL and GFM converters integrated ***,the admittance and impedance matrices of the GFL and GFM converters are analyzed to identify the frequency bands associated with negative damping in oscillation modes dominated by heterogeneous synchronization ***,based on the interaction rules between the short-circuit ratio and the different oscillation modes,an equivalent circuit is proposed to simplify the grid strength assessment through the topological transformation of the AC *** risk of sub-synchronization and low-frequency oscillations,influenced by GFL and GFM converters,is then reformulated as a semi-definite programming(SDP)model,incorporating the node admittance matrix and grid-connected device *** effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through a case analysis.

Optimization algorithms play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of systems across various scientific and engineering *** enhance the performance and alleviate the limitations of the Northern Goshawk Optimization(NGO)algorithm,particularly its tendency towards premature convergence and entrapment in local optima during function optimization processes,this study introduces an advanced Improved Northern Goshawk Optimization(INGO)*** algorithm incorporates a multifaceted enhancement strategy to boost operational ***,a tent chaotic map is employed in the initialization phase to generate a diverse initial population,providing high-quality feasible ***,after the first phase of the NGO’s iterative process,a whale fall strategy is introduced to prevent premature convergence into local *** is followed by the integration of T-distributionmutation strategies and the State Transition Algorithm(STA)after the second phase of the NGO,achieving a balanced synergy between the algorithm’s exploitation and *** research evaluates the performance of INGO using 23 benchmark functions alongside the IEEE CEC 2017 benchmark functions,accompanied by a statistical analysis of the *** experimental outcomes demonstrate INGO’s superior achievements in function optimization ***,its applicability in solving engineering design problems was verified through simulations on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)trajectory planning issues,establishing INGO’s capability in addressing complex optimization challenges.

Improving transportation efficiency is an eternal research hotspot in rail transit system. In recent years, the train operation control method based on virtual coupling has attracted the attention of many *** method of train coordination and anti-collision control is not only the key to realize the virtual coupling of train, but also the key to ensure the safety of train operation. Therefore, based on the existing research, a virtual coupled train dynamics model with nonlinear dynamics is established. Then, the parameters of the operation process model of the nonlinear virtual coupled train are identified by the recursive least squares method based on realtime data, which is applied to the variable parameter artificial potential field(VAPF) for parameter identification.A fusion controller based on feature-based generalized model prediction(GPC) and VAPF is used to control the virtual coupled train and prevent collision. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by using real high-speed railway data.
