In recent years, deep learning has been successfully applied in object detection of remote sensing images, due to its powerful feature extraction and representation capabilities. However, it usually ignores the relationships among different objects, which greatly hinders the further improvement of the detection precision. In this paper, a novel object relationship graph reasoning deep learning method is proposed for object detection of remote sensing images. The reasoning is carried out on a graph constructed by region proposals. It mainly contains three modules for relationship generation in consideration of different factors that related to object detection: 1) Location-based relationship generation module (LRGM) aims to find spatial relationships among objects according to their positions;2) Feature-based relationship generation module (FRGM) focuses on mining semantic relationships among objects according to their appearances that implied in feature maps and 3) Class-dependent relationship generation module (CRGM) introduces class dependencies into the relationship generation process. Class dependencies are the prior knowledge that is obtained by computing class co-occurrence. The experimental results on a public twenty-class remote sensing object detection dataset have shown that the proposed method has better detection performance compared to other object detection deep networks with no considering object relationships. © 2021 IEEE.

The interoperability of heterogeneous networks, including hybrid industrial wired/wireless protocols, is a vital aspect of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) since various industrial protocols have coexisted. Therefore, it is hard to obtain a multiple protocol conversion solution with the flexible configuration. Moreover, the previous works do not adapt to the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), which is considered as the potential technology of IIoT. To tackle the above problems, we proposed an architecture of the multiple conversion system supporting the conversion of multiple protocols. Then, we proposed a protocol conversion mechanism to improve the flexibility of multiple protocol conversion by separating into data and configuration planes. Moreover, we propose a TSN-compatible frame with dynamic priority mapping algorithm, which adjusts the priority in the VLAN tag by the processing delay. Finally, we develop a hardware module and system supporting multiple protocol conversion, which verify that the proposed architecture could satisfy the flexible conversion requirement through the experiments. © 2022 IEEE.

With the rapid development of smart manufacturing, existing microservice deployment strategies based on the TCP protocol tend to encounter problems such as network latency, excessive header length, and port exhaustion in high concurrency scenarios. MQTT Broker can relay data between microservices, effectively alleviating these issues. However, the communication overhead of the Broker is significantly related to its deployment and the dependency of microservices. An appropriate deployment solution can significantly improve service quality. To address this issue, this paper models the deployment of MQTT Broker and microservices as a graph with cycles. By introducing auxiliary variables, the NP-hard problem is transformed into a mixed-integer quadratic programming problem, improving problem-solving efficiency and optimizing the microservices deployment strategy to reduce communication overhead. Meanwhile, a real-world heterogeneous cluster was constructed to experiment on fault detection applications, elaborating on the superiority of the microservice deployment strategy designed in this paper. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach reduces communication overhead by 20% in comparison to both the greedy strategy and the K8s strategy. This suggests that achieving an optimal balance between the number of Brokers and microservices is vital for ensuring efficient resource utilization and maintaining low communication latency, particularly as the scale of services expands. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of non-negative edge consensus of undirected networked linear time-invariant systems is addressed by associating each edge of the network with a state variable, for which a distributed algorithm is constructed. Sufficient conditions referring only to the number of edges are derived for non-negative edge consensus of the networked systems. Subsequently, the linear programming method and a low-gain feedback technique are introduced to simplify the design of the feedback gain matrix for achieving the non-negative edge consensus. It is found that the low-gain feedback technique has a good effect on the non-negative edge consensus of the networked systems subject to input saturation. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper considers the problem that the virtual mobile operator (VMO) buys services from the wireless service provider (WSP) to serve its users. When faced with poor indoor coverage or at the edge of marcocell, the WSP would ask nearby femto base stations (FBSs) to help serve the VMO. We focus on the interesting questions when the WSP prefers to ask help from FBSs and how WSP, VMO and FBSs adjust their strategies to maximize their profits. A two-stage Stackelberg game is built for the situation when the WSP serve the VMO by itself and a four-stage Stackelberg game is considered when the WSP rents FBSs by offering spectrum bands to FBSs. We firstly define the utility functions of VMO, WSP and FBSs to reflect their satisfaction and cost in participating into the game and then give the analysis based on the backward induction method. Meanwhile, the competition among FBSs when the WSP allocates spectrum bands for FBSs' help is formulated as a non-cooperative spectrum competition game (NSCG) and the existence and uniqueness of the Nash equilibrium in NSCG is proved. Simulation results of the two service modes show the WSP can obtain more profits through renting FBSs in poor coverage areas. © 2013 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

The axle temperature is an important performance index for high-speed train axle, and many types of high-precision detection device have been developed. However, because the existing hotbox detection system works by comparing the measured value with fixed and experiential temperature thresholds, without considering the dynamic influence of running environment, the rates of fault and failure alarm are still high. Regarding this problem, this paper is to realize high precision fault diagnosis. Firstly, the characteristics of the temperature rising rates of all axles, the axles on the same side of a carriage, the axles on the same side of a whole train are analyzed. Secondly, the support vector machine (SVM) is employed to establish a data-based fault diagnosis model, and the model is optimized using genetic algorithm. Finally, the proposed method is applied to an actual running data, the analysis results demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility.

Automatic image registration method is important because data amount acquired and processed is increasingly heavy. For SAR and optical sensor images, it is important to align the same object shown in different images from multi sensors. Considering extracting and matching features in SAR and optical images, a template registration strategy is proposed in this paper. A particular similarity measurement which is robust in matching remote sensing images of general sceneries is hardly to construct. Being the invertible and essential tendency nowadays in the field of earth observation, high pixel-resolution images can offer much more information of the ground. Thus subpixel image registration methods have been researched, among which can successfully achieve 1/50 pixel level accuracy in matching homologous sensor image. This paper firstly investigated the performance of 2D Gaussian fitting for low correlated synthetic images and real satellite images acquired by Radat SAT-2, COSMO and TerraSAR-X satellites. Three algorithms for subpixel locating have been utilized with consideration of the low correlated coefficient peak and corrupted shape of neighbourhood around it. The results show 2D Gaussian fitting is the most efficient on noisy coefficient maps. Then a subpixel image registration method for SAR and optical images is proposed. Normalized gradient correlation (NGC) algorithm is used to solve the problem of different intensity property at first, and by combining 2D Gaussian fitting to relocate matched points at a subpixel level accuracy. Experiment results have shown that the proposed method has enough capabilities in handling differences between images from multi-sensors. The proposed approach has been found to be simple and efficient in implementation with a low computation load. And the most important performance is the results presented here have achieved matching accuracy within 1 pixel.

Genetic algorithm (GA) is an effective method for path planning problems. As a powerful variant of GA, island genetic algorithm (IGA) has considerable improvement in performance. In this paper, a new island model of GA is proposed to avoid the premature phenomenon and achieve better efficiency. First, a new method of creating subpopulations is presented based on K-means to expand the searching area for the optima. Meanwhile, recombining subpopulations is proposed as a new strategy to improve the diversity of populations and save computational time. Moreover, a method is designed based on Monte Carlo sampling to handle the uncertainty of maps. Comparative experiments are presented to verify the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Then, a proper number of samples is found by simulation to balance the accuracy and the time cost of Monte Carlo sampling. © 2023 IEEE.

Developing an efficient automatic navigation system for mobile robots is challenging in the strange scenarios where robots can only observe the environment of the surrounding limited *** other distributed automatic navigation systems exist,they often require extracting semantic information to calculate navigation action,which requires extra modules to provide perceptual information and is not *** propose an end-to-end automatic navigation system based on the reinforcement learning *** particular,the raw 3 D LiDAR data is used to directly map an efficient navigation *** design a novel dense reward function to handle the reward sparsity issue and provide a graphical representation method to enable the efficient feature learning from the raw 3 D LiDAR data in our navigation *** addition,an imitation learning based policy initialization is introduced before the subsequent reinforcement learning,which increases the learning efficiency and,in the meantime,still encouraging the robot to explore all the potential states to achieve advanced performance than the imitated *** navigation model is trained in the Webots environment and the experimental results show that our model has efficient and flexible navigation performance in complex *** importantly,trained model can be easily extended to unfamiliar environments.
