A new trend rising in IT environs is the Mobile cloud computing with colossal prerequisites of infrastructure along with resources. In cloud computing environment, load balancing a vital aspect. Cloud load balancing way toward disseminating workloads across numerous computing resources. Proficient load balancing plan guarantees effective resource usage by the supply of resources to cloud user's on-demand premise and it might even help organizing clients by applying fitting planning criteria the current paper discusses and implements the concept of load balancers, which are the lifeblood of any cloud computing network. In this paper, a new load balancing system is presented Focal Load Balancer (F-LB), which has been developed to reduce the traffic in the Cloud, whilst assuring a smooth flow of data in the cloud network. The proposed algorithm takes advantage of the dynamic load balancing characteristics over static balancing, and avoids the damage that a static load balancer causes if it fails. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm operates efficiently and effectively, and it provides a significantly improved performance over existing algorithms. Comparisons with the krill-LB and agent-based algorithms show that the new system provides a reduction in average wait time, a significant increase in throughput, and a dramatic reduction in CPU time consumption.

Two new architectures of the third-order low-pass filters (LPF) based on differential (Op-Amp) and differential difference amplifiers (DDA) with a paraphase output are compared. This architectures designed for practical use as anti-aliasing filters in analog-to-digital converters of sensor signals of various physical quantities. The basic equations of the developed LPF modifications that make possible to perform their parametric synthesis are given. The computer simulation results are presented, which show that the LPFs under consideration provide the guaranteed frequency response (FR) attenuation outside the bandwidth being implemented on Op-Amps by Analog Device (AD8132) and Texas Instruments (THS4131).

Considering the attitude-stabilization during the transformation process of morphing aircraft with the effect of large scale change of system dynamic and constrained actuator output amplitude, based on mode-dependent average dwell time approach, a design methodology of anti-windup smooth switching controller is proposed. First, a class of chained smooth switching system model is established, which can reflect aerodynamic coefficient transition of morphing aircraft in the transformation process more precisely and reduce conservatism of controller design. Based on the model, the sufficient condition to ensure the finite-time boundedness and robustness of chained smooth switching system can be obtained via the mode-dependent average dwell time approach. Finally, design of anti-windup compensation is proposed. Also, the problem of anti-windup controller design is translated to problem of optimization with linear matrix inequalities constraint. Finally, simulation results are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed controller design approach.

Gastric ulcer is a chronic and complex (and often complete) erosion of the stomach wall that happens as a complication of a previous chronic, inflammatory process. It represents a catastrophic situation in which the patient is critical and its conditions need to be treated fast. This study presents a remotely navigatable and deployable ingestible patch and plug for gastric ulcer treatment. The patch/plug structure is made of agarose hydrogel that can change rigidity through hydration and dehydration. When dehydrated, it is rigid and can maintain a folded configuration so it can be ingested as a "pill". This can be guided to the targeted location by a magnetic field, and be deployed instantly by hydration, namely by supplying water from the mouth. Due to the deployable origami design, it exhibits an expansion of 10 times its initial surface area, making the device suitable for the use of dressing a surface as a patch, and filling a hole as a plug.

The paper introduces the modeling method and modeling tool for the fault diagnosis of manned spacecraft, the multi-signal flow graph model of a manned space equipment was established using this method;the framework of the fault detection and diagnosis system of manned spacecraft is proposed, the function of ground system and function of the spacecraft are clearly defined. This work presents a novel constraint handling strategy for Predictive Functional control (PFC). First, to improve prediction consistency, the constant input assumption of nominal PFC approaches is replaced with Laguerre based prediction. This substitution improves the effectiveness of using a constrained solution to prevent long-term constraint violations. Secondly, for state constraints, a simpler single regulator approach is proposed instead of switching between regulators, an approach common in the PFC literature. Simulation results verify that the proposed method manages the constraints better than the traditional approach. Moreover, despite all the modifications, the controller formulation and framework remain simple and straightforward which thus are in line with the key ethos of PFC. © 2017

The measuring error of Inertial Navigation system(INS) is the main fact that affects the hitting accuracy of inertial-guided *** parameters compensation could get *** of all,this article builds an error model of gyro and accelerometer,and then in order to achieve these error parameters' value as closely as possible to their true value in application,a quick self-calibration method based on one-time electrification before launching for inertial platform is *** this method,INS rotates to 9 particular positions,outputs of inertial sensors are collected in drift state and each error parameter can be *** self-calibration method requires no additional devices,improving the maneuverability of the whole ***,experiments are carried out using both the self-calibration method and unit calibration method,the two methods' results show that the largest compared accuracy is 9.40%,which demonstrates the practicability and validity of the suggested method.

We present numerical examples demonstrating the efficacy of a recently proposed self-triggered model predictive control scheme for disturbed linear discrete-time systems with hard constraints on the input and state. In order to reduce the amount of communication between the controller and the actuator, the control input is not re-computed at each point in time but only at certain sampling instances. These instances are determined in a self-triggered fashion in the sense that at every sampling instant the next sampling instant is computed as a function of the current system state. A compact set in the state space, whose size is a design parameter in the control scheme, is stabilized. © 2016

The Gaussian mixture model (GMM) has been extensively investigated in nonlinear/non-Gaussian filtering problems. This paper presents two enhancements for GMM-based nonlinear filtering techniques, namely, the adaptive ordering of the measurement update and normalized innovation square (NlS)-based mixture component management The first technique selects the order of measurement update by maximizing the marginal measurement likelihood to improve performance. The second approach takes the filtering history of a mixture component into account and prunes those components with NIS larger than a threshold to eliminate their impact on the filtering posterior. The advantage of the proposed enhancements is illustrated via simulations that consider source tracking using the time difference of arrival (TDOA) and frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) measurements received at two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A GMM-cubature quadrature Kalman filter (CQKF) is implemented and its performances with different measurement update and mixture component management strategies are compared. The superior performance obtained via the use of the two proposed techniques is demonstrated.

A Review of Industrial Heat Exchange Optimization

Heat exchanger is an energy exchange equipment, it transfers the heat from a working medium to another working medium, which has been wildly used in petrochemical industry, HVAC refrigeration, aerospace and so many other fields. The optimal design and efficient operation of the heat exchanger and heat transfer network are of great significance to the process industry to realize energy conservation, production cost reduction and energy consumption reduction. In this paper, the optimization of heat exchanger, optimal algorithm and heat exchanger optimization with different objective functions are discussed. Then, optimization of the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger network considering different conditions are compared and analysed. Finally, all the problems discussed are summarized and foresights are proposed.
