The globally devastating consequence of COVID-19 or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has posed immense threat to the life of living beings. Doctors and scientists throughout the world are working day and night to combat the proliferation or transmission of this deadly disease through advances in terms of technology, finances, data repositories, protective equipment, and many other services. Rapid and efficient detection of COVID-19 reduces the rate of spreading this deadly disease and early treatment improve the recovery rate. In this paper, we proposed a new framework to exploit powerful features extracted from the autoencoder and Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix (GLCM), combined with random forest algorithm for the efficient and fast detection of COVID-19 using computed tomographic images. The model's performance is evident from its 97.78% accuracy, 96.78% recall, and 98.77% specificity. © 2024 IEEE.

The recent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our ability to identify multiple objects and understand complex *** technologies,such as augmented reality-driven scene integration,robotic navigation,autonomous driving,and guided tour systems,heavily rely on this type of scene *** paper presents a novel segmentation approach based on the UNet network model,aimed at recognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and preprocessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accurately label the segmented *** labeling,significant features are extracted from these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Accelerated Segmentation and Extraction)features,energy-based edge detection,frequency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neural network(CNN)is *** comprehensive methodology demonstrates a robust framework for achieving accurate and efficient recognition of multiple objects in *** experimental results,which include complex object datasets like MSRC-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the experimental results,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accuracy rate of 95%,while the MSRC-v2 dataset achieved an accuracy of 89%.The evaluation performed on these diverse datasets highlights a notably impressive level of performance.

Cloud-based machine learning services offer significant advantages but also introduce the risk of tampering with cloud-deployed deep neural network (DNN) models. Black-box integrity verification (BIV) allows model owners and end-users to determine if a cloud-deployed DNN model has been tampered with by examining only the top-1 label responses. Fingerprinting generates fingerprint samples to query the model, achieving BIV with no impact on the model's accuracy. In this paper, we present BIVBench, the first comprehensive benchmark for BIV of DNN models. BIVBench covers 16 types of model modifications, providing extensive coverage of practical modification scenarios. Our analysis reveals that existing fingerprinting methods, which are typically focused on significant tampering, lack the sensitivity needed to effectively detect subtle yet common and potentially severe modifications. To address this limitation, we propose MiSentry (Model Integrity Sentry), a novel fingerprinting method that leverages meta-learning. MiSentry strategically incorporates a few subtly modified models into the meta-learning model zoo and maximizes the divergence of output predictions between the target model and the modified models in the model zoo to generate highly sensitive, generalizable, and effective fingerprint samples. Extensive evaluations using BIVBench demonstrate that MiSentry outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods overall and significantly surpasses them in detecting subtle modifications. Stuttering or stammering is a common neurogenic, psychogenic fluency disorder wherein people have uncontrolled blocks on the natural flow of speech. Automatic Stuttering Event Detection (SED) is a widely recognised challenge due to the heterogenic and overlapped nature of stuttering speech. Therefore, this comparative study investigates the impact of stuttering event representation on detection performance. The paper evaluates the performance of SED and shows the impact of employing ASR pre-trained feature extractions on each stuttering event. Moreover, the paper provides different groups of experiments that evaluate the impact of three acoustic features, the Zero Crossing Rate (ZCR), the Spectral Flux Onset Strength Envelope (SFO), and Fundamental Frequency (FF) features, on SED performance. The paper demonstrates that the fusion of spectral and ASR features improves SED performance across all stuttering events by 8%. The F1 score of the Block class increased by approximately 10%, from 15% to 25%, while the word repetition and interjection increased by 8%. In addition, our experiments proved that the fusion of temporal features increased the average F1 score of SED by 2% across all stuttering events. The F1 score of the prolongation and sound repetition classes increased by 6% and 3%, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%. © 2023 IEEE.

Approximate nearest neighbor search (ANNS) has emerged as a crucial component of database and AI infrastructure. Ever-increasing vector datasets pose significant challenges in terms of performance, cost, and accuracy for ANNS services. None of modern ANNS systems can address these issues simultaneously. In this paper, we present FusionANNS, a high-throughput, low-latency, cost-efficient, and high-accuracy ANNS system for billion-scale datasets using SSDs and only one entry-level GPU. The key idea of FusionANNS lies in CPU/GPU collaborative filtering and re-ranking mechanisms, which significantly reduce I/O operations across CPUs, GPU, and SSDs to break through the I/O performance bottleneck. Specifically, we propose three novel designs: (1) multi-tiered indexing to avoid data swapping between CPUs and GPU, (2) heuristic re-ranking to eliminate unnecessary I/Os and computations while guaranteeing high accuracy, and (3) redundant-aware I/O deduplication to further improve I/O efficiency. We implement FusionANNS and compare it with the state-of-the-art SSD-based ANNS system-SPANN and GPU-accelerated in-memory ANNS system-RUMMY. Experimental results show that FusionANNS achieves 1) 9.4-13.1× higher query per second (QPS) and 5.7-8.8× higher cost efficiency compared with SPANN;2) and 2-4.9× higher QPS and 2.3-6.8× higher cost efficiency compared with RUMMY, while guaranteeing low latency and high accuracy. © 2025 FAST. Multiobjective Optimization for Traveling Salesman Problem: A Deep Reinforcement Learning Algorithm via Transfer Learning

A wide range of real applications can be modelled as the multiobjective traveling salesman problem (MOTSP), one of typical combinatorial optimization problems. Meta-heuristics can be used to address MOTSP. However, due to involving iteratively searching large solution space, they often entail significant computation time. Recently, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithms have been employed in generating approximate optimal solutions to the single objective traveling salesman problems, as well as MOTSPs. This study proposes a multiobjective optimization algorithm based on DRL, called multiobjective pointer network (MOPN), where the input structure of the pointer network is redesigned to be applied to MOTSP. Furthermore, a training strategy utilizing a representative model and transfer learning is introduced to enhance the performance of MOPN. The proposed MOPN is insensitive to problem scale, meaning that a trained MOPN can address MOTSPs with different scales. Compared to meta-heuristics, MOPN takes much less time on forward propagation to obtain the pareto front. To verify the performance of our model, extensive experiments are conducted on three different MOTSPs to compare the MOPN with two state-of-the-art DRL models and two multiobjective meta-heuristics. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed MOPN obtains the best solution with the least training time among all the compared DRL methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Recommender system (RS) has emanated as the most popular application of e-commerce websites. In the e-commerce business, collaborative filtering based RS systems suggest products to the customers and find the interesting things for the users which they may wish to purchase. The success rate of any recommendation system depends upon, information reliability as well as expression of daily life behavior in the consolidated format. The main task is to produce the best ranked list of ‘n-number’ of items for the user’s need. Due to the natural structure, Z-Numbers are more consistent to producing a recommendation list. To solve real life problem, Z-Numbers should be incorporated into decision-making models. However, Online shopping involved multicriteria group decision-making (MCGDM). Z-information persisting some difficulties with MCGDM. Therefore, to enhancing the ability of Z-numbers Complex Fuzzy Sets (CFSs), are employed. Besides this entropy, distance measure, and aggregation operator are combined to produced MCGDM based ranking of customer preference. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2023.

In recent years, the global repercussions of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants have posed significant challenges to various areas, including the economic order, transportation, healthcare, and education, and the mitigation and prevention of SARS-CoV-2 and other infectious diseases have received much attention. This paper tries to develop a rational and effective intervention strategy in response to the dynamic evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic. To address this issue, we first use the SEIR model to analyze the population distribution under the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, and then integrate a deep Q-neural network (DQN) to reflect an economic quantification model contextualized within the SARS-CoV-2 scenario. Next, we propose an evolutionary deep reinforcement learning to generate an optimal and adaptive intervention strategy, by optimizing the weight sequence of the DQN. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method in maximizing economic benefits, while ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of medical institutions. Importantly, the learned intervention strategy exhibits the applicability to other infectious diseases. © 2024 IEEE.
