Distributed energy management for interconnected operation of combined heat and power-based microgrids with demand response

From the perspective of transactive energy, the energy trading among interconnected microgrids(MGs) is promising to improve the economy and reliability of system operations. In this paper, a distributed energy management method for interconnected operations of combined heat and power(CHP)-based MGs with demand response(DR) is proposed. First, the system model of operational cost including CHP, DR, renewable distributed sources, and diesel generation is introduced, where the DR is modeled as a virtual generation unit. Second, the optimal scheduling model is decentralized as several distributed scheduling models in accordance with the number of associated MGs. Moreover, a distributed iterative algorithm based on subgradient with dynamic search direction is proposed. During the iterative process, the information exchange between neighboring MGs is limited to Lagrange multipliers and expected purchasing energy. Finally,numerical results are given for an interconnected MGs system consisting of three MGs, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

Nowadays computer data grows rapidly and make a lot of institutions and companies looking for storage solutions that are safe, reliable and trustworthy. One of the solutions is to implement a Storage Area Network (SAN). In this study, the authors chose the iSCSI protocol as an object for analyzing the performance of the SAN server based on software and hardware. The RAID type used are RAID 5 and RAID 10, while the parameters used are Input Output per Second (IOPS), throughput and average latency with workloads 4 KB, 8 KB, and 256 KB. The tests performed on the network running Link Aggregation (LAG) or network without LAG. From the test results, it is seen that a SAN network running LAG have increased throughput by 89.57 MBps. The best IOPS performance was achieved by Software-Based iSCSI SAN with a value of 26729.48 IOPS. The best throughput performance is achieved by Hardware-Based iSCSI SAN with a value of 118.55MBps. The best latency performance achieved by Software-Based iSCSI SAN with a value of 2.01ms.

In this study, a full-color emission red–green–blue(RGB) quantum-dot(QD)-based micro-light-emitting-diode(micro-LED) array with the reduced optical cross-talk effect by a photoresist mold has been demonstrated. The UV micro-LED array is used as an efficient excitation source for the QDs. The aerosol jet technique provides a narrow linewidth on the micrometer scale for a precise jet of QDs on the micro-LEDs. To reduce the optical cross-talk effect,a simple lithography method and photoresist are used to fabricate the mold, which consists of a window for QD jetting and a blocking wall for cross-talk reduction. The cross-talk effect of the well-confined QDs in the window is confirmed by a fluorescence microscope, which shows clear separation between QD pixels. A distributed Bragg reflector is covered on the micro-LED array and the QDs' jetted mold to further increase the reuse of UV *** enhanced light emission of the QDs is 5%, 32%, and 23% for blue, green, and red QDs, respectively.

The land resource is becoming scarcer and scarcer for a rapidly developing city. Thus, the land price assessment is important for the government to auction the land appropriately. In the paper, we introduced the deep neural network to evaluate the land price, taking the Shenzhen city in China as a case. Firstly, twenty influencing factors and land price data were gathered. Then, Shenzhen city was segmented into many grids with a size of 300 × 300 m. Secondly, the land price of each grid was derived with Kriging approach based upon the samples of land price. And the twenty influencing factors was quantified. Thirdly, the land price data and influencing factors were partitioned into training and testing datasets with the ratio of 8:1, and the training data were utilized to train the deep neural network based on regression analysis and classification with different hidden layers. Finally, the results were analyzed, and the deep neural network with the highest accuracy was selected as the optimum model. Therefore, our proposed method is an efficient approach to evaluate the land price with deep neural network.

Developing safe and reliable software is not a luxury but a necessity given our staggering level of dependency on it. Indeed, we have handed over our ability to function day to day to an electronic array or zeros and ones and we expect, demand and rely on these invisible bits to work without error or fault. However, the process of building such reliable software is far from simple. This paper will examine the practical aspects of the problem as well as solutions that are either used or in the process of being evaluated and/or adopted by an NYC based financial institution to produce safe and reliable software.

Tasks in outdoor open world environments are now ripe for automation with mobile manipulators. The dynamic, unstructured and unknown environments associated with such tasks - a prime example would be collecting roadside trash - makes them particularly challenging. In this paper we present an approach to solving the problem of picking up, transporting, and dropping off novel objects outdoors. Our solution integrates a navigation system, a grasp detection and planning system, and a custom task planner. We perform experiments that demonstrate that the system can be used to transport a wide class of novel objects (trash bags, general garbage, gardening tools and fruits) in unstructured settings outdoors with a relatively high end-to-end success rate of 85%. Computational technology is an important thing that needed in the whole of human life. Along with the development of computer technology, there are a significant data created and wait to be processed; we will get more advantages if it well-processed, if not we will see the data explosion, the data is just a useless stack. Research mitigates the other research paper and makes a conclusion and a report by PRISMA method. The development of computer technology will support the development of an organization. Considering any factors in choosing the right and suitable high-performance computer resource due to our organization is a must. The existing high-performance computing forms are Supercomputer, Grid Computing, Cluster Computing, and Cloud Computing. Based on this work, the last form of high-performance computing, Cloud Computing is one of the most used forms thus we mitigate its advantages and disadvantages. Recently, to process this vast data, we must have a high-performance computer and to provide it, this is not a cheap resource.

From the study of dispatcher power flow in a distributed energy management system (DEMS) among multiple control centers, a fixed-point iteration scheme for boundary bus states is constructed to modify the exterior network equivalent through data exchange. Implementation details such as determination of combination parameters, independent choice of reference bus, and distribution of unbalanced power are analyzed. Using this method, each subsystem involved in distributed computing can maintain its method of modeling the exterior network. Adverse effects of communication interference on computing can also be eliminated. Results consistent with integrated power flow are obtained with little loss of accuracy. Thus, the proposed algorithm is especially suitable for application in DEMS, in which control centers can only communicate by WAN. Tests are conducted on the IEEE 118-bus system partitioned into five subsystems, the IEEE 300-bus system, and an actual power system, which verifies the favorable convergence and effectiveness of the method.

*** evidence from human studies has revealed the adverse impact of ambient fine particles(PM2.5)on health outcomes related to metabolic disorders and distant *** exposure to ambient PM2.5 leads to kidney impairment remains *** rapid air quality improvement driven by the clean air actions in China since 2013 provides an opportunity for a quasiexperiment to investigate the beneficial effect of PM2.5 reduction on kidney *** on two repeated nationwide surveys of the same population of 5115 adults in 2011 and 2015,we conducted a difference-in-difference *** in long-term exposure to ambient PM2.5 were associated with changes in kidney function biomarkers,including estimated glomerular filtration rate by serum creatinine(GFRscr)or cystatin C(GFRcys),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),and uric acid(UA).*** a 10μg/m3 reduction in PM2.5,a significant improvement was observed for multiple kidney functional biomarkers,including GFRscr,BUN and UA,with a change of 0.42(95％confidence interval[CI]:0.06,0.78)mL/min/1.73m2,-0.38(-0.64,-0.12)mg/dL,and-0.06(-0.12,-0.00)mg/dL,respectively.A lower socioeconomic status,indicated by rural residence or low educational level,enhanced the adverse effect of PM2.5 on kidney *** results support a significant nephrotoxicity of PM2.5 based on multiple serum biomarkers and indicate a beneficial effect of improved air quality on kidney function.
