Objectives: This work aims to develop an automated video summarising methodology and timestamping that uses natural language processing (NLP) tools to extract significant video ***: The methodology comprises extracting the audio from the video, splitting it into chunks by the size of the pauses, and transcribing the audio using Google's speech recognition. The transcribed text is tokenised to create a summary, sentence and word frequencies are calculated, and the most relevant sentences are selected. The summary quality is assessed using ROUGE criteria, and the most important keywords are extracted from the transcript using ***: Our proposed method successfully extracts key points from video lectures and creates text summaries. Timestamping these key points provides valuable context and facilitates navigation within the lecture. Our method combines video-to-text conversion and text summarisation with timestamping key concepts, offering a novel approach to video lecture analysis. Existing video analysis methods focus on keyword extraction or summarisation, while our method offers a more comprehensive approach. Our timestamped key points provide a unique feature compared to other methods. Our method enhances existing video reports by (i) providing concise summaries of key concepts and (ii) enabling quick access to specific information through timestamps. (iii) Facilitating information retrieval through a searchable index. Further research directions: (i) Improve the accuracy of the multi-stage processing pipeline. (ii) Develop techniques to handle diverse accents and pronunciations. (iii) Explore applications of the proposed method to other video genres and ***/Improvements: This approach is practical in giving accurate video summaries, saving viewers time and effort when comprehending the main concepts presented in a video. © 2024 IEEE.

Learning to see speckle in the weak laser field through multimode fiber

Multimode fibers (MMFs) have great potential for endoscopic imaging due to the high number of modes and a small core diameter. Deep learning based on neural networks has received increasing attention in the field of scattering image reconstruction. However， most studies focus on designing complex network architectures to improve reconstruction， but these network models struggle to reconstruct images in a weak laser field. In the paper， a lightweight generative adversarial network model combined with a histogram specification algorithm is designed to reconstruct speckles in the weak laser field through MMF. Experimental results show that the reconstruction results of our algorithm have better metrics. Moreover， the model demonstrates excellent cross-domain generalization ability with regards to the Fashion-MNIST dataset. It is worth mentioning that we found that the speckles after inactivation still retain the ability to be reconstructed， which enhances the robustness of the model

With the help of modern Artificial intelligence—AI tools through which the normalcy and anomaly can be determined based on the available data in traffic monitoring and control processes. Then by employing efficient algorithms the available data along with image and video captures can be filtered to detect possible anomalies. The main filtering is done based on object detection and identification-based classification methods. This system can be viewed as a complex one with a control room constituting some 20 screens with many cameras associated forming a big network. This innovation is a new approach to reduce manpower and complexity of the existing system thereby improving the quality of life. The major concern is reducing road accidents as nearly one third of the mortality lies there. So, by proper pre-detection this can be reduced. This innovation consists of a bird shaped IOT device named "Falcon" with certain built-in functions to effectively monitor our smart cities and save lives. The main activities would be detecting road accidents, giving prior information and improving women safety. This falcon can be controlled via mobile application. Any threats and hazards faced by any woman can be easily identified and the falcon will send appropriate information to the police and pre-configured members. This can also serve to monitor transport in traffic signals and will report immediately in case of any violations of the traffic rule. When monitoring any threats or accidents that have taken place then notifications with captures will be sent to the police and hospitals. During any natural calamities or even on a regular basis also delivery of any medicines or essential commodities in a short time can be done by this falcon. This will also improve surveillance and better coordination amongst the police, smart city authorities and other government departments to perform better services for the citizens and to serve the people in a better way especially during emergenci

More than three branches of death due to cardiovascular disease. Myocardial infarction (MI) is one of the most dangerous forms of coronary heart disease, with the highest mortality rate among other types of coronary heart disease. MI is caused by reduced oxygen demand in heart muscle tissue when oxygen is pumped throughout the body. To detect MI, experts can use ECG signals. ECG is a tool that can be used to record the activity of biological signals formed due to the electrical activity of the heart. Various studies have been conducted using deep learning to help detect and predict MI. This research proposes a hybrid model of CNN-LSTM and CNN-BILSTM model techniques to predict MI. The MI dataset from the Physiobank (PTB) ECG database consisting of 52 normal subjects and 148 patients was used for training models. The proposed deep learning model uses automatic feature extraction. This study suggests a simple deep learning architecture with automatic feature extraction to learn from data. Evaluation of model performance resulted in an average accuracy of 98.80% for the CNN-LSTM model and 99.90% for the CNN-BILSTM model. © 2023 IEEE.

Psychological disorders, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, stress, depression, and schizophrenia, are increasingly prevalent worldwide. Among these conditions, depression is particularly notable as one of the most common and debilitating neuropsychiatric disorders. Individuals with depression may be at a higher risk of developing oronary Artery Disease (CAD). Depression can contribute to poor lifestyle choices, such as unhealthy eating, lack of exercise, and smoking, which are risk factors for CAD. The emotional stress and anxiety associated with depression can strain the heart and exacerbate CAD symptoms. The relationship is not one-sided. CAD itself can be a significant source of emotional distress, leading to symptoms of depression and anxiety in affected individuals. Managing both conditions in tandem can be complicated. Treating CAD may involve medications, lifestyle modifications, and potentially surgical interventions. Meanwhile, depression often requires therapy, counseling, and medication. Coordinating care and addressing both conditions simultaneously is crucial. In our study, we investigated the molecular connections between CAD and Depression using GSE98793 and GSE20681 microarray datasets. After preprocessing, we identified key hub genes, including CCT2, SVIL, REPS2, ASPH, and UBC, in the shared ProteinProtein Interaction network. KEGG pathways linked these DEGs to colorectal and cancer pathways. Our next steps involve exploring microRNAs, TFs, and GO analysis. These findings offer promising leads for potential therapies, uniting CAD and Depression under a common molecular framework, advancing our understanding of these conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

Road safety is a significant concern worldwide, with a high number of fatalities occurring due to the negligence of helmet usage by two-wheeler riders. According to statistics, thousands of lives are lost annually due to non-compliance with helmet regulations. This paper proposes an automated helmet detection system using image processing techniques to enforce safety measures. The system captures real-time images of the rider using a camera and processes them with a pretrained machine learning model on a Raspberry Pi. If a helmet is detected, the vehicle's ignition is enabled; otherwise, it remains disabled. This method ensures compliance with safety regulations and contributes to reducing road accidents. The model achieves 95% accuracy in helmet detection, making it a reliable and practical solution for real-world deployment. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed system, highlighting its potential in improving road safety and reducing fatalities.

Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

Alzheimer's disease is one of the commonly occurring disease in which the common cause of dementia called as memory loss will happen resiliently and damage the brain activity. It also produces cognitive abilities and serious impact of interference with the day today life. Disease contains 60% to 80% of dementia cases in the early stages are predicted and further actions are initiated to alert the patient behaviour from abnormal activity. The direct impact of Alzheimer's disease (AD) interfere with the regular activity and make complexity in making decisions, thinking capability, problem solving and speaking. The evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) created numerous ways of analysing strategies, helpful for making the early prediction. In spite of image processing technology, Machine learning models are created to analyse the disease features, symptoms, Chronic records to perform AD detection. The role of deep learning algorithm incorporated with image processing, deep feature extraction, and deep feature fusion enhances the scope of research in AD analysis. Further the benefit of deep learning algorithm to provide search detection mechanism. The presented study discusses various criteria of AD detection and tabulated the findings. © 2022 IEEE.

Using public fingerprint databases to validate the multi-instance fusion approach of a Multi-instance Biometric Authentication system (MBAS) for accurate authentication is a means of overcoming some of the limitations of a Unimodal Biometric system (UBS). Nevertheless, a significant portion of the web databases used for MBAS (Machine Learning-Based Automated systems) were obtained under controlled conditions, with the photos being curated to align with a certain algorithmic objective. The performance of biometric systems exhibits variability when the datasets used in the algorithms undergo modifications as a result of discrepancies in the settings under which the photos were obtained. In this study, a database containing multiple fingerprint instances was developed locally in an uncontrolled environment. The aim was to create a database containing numerous examples of fingerprints for the same person from one or multiple data collection sessions. The database was produced locally by acquiring six samples of ten fingerprint instances of 150 subjects in an uncontrolled environment using a Futronic fingerprint scanner. The created database and results will be helpful to all researchers in the biometrics field as a tool for improving multi-instance fusion methods and enabling an unbiased evaluation of algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.
