To reduce latency and improve the user experience, content caching solutions at the network periphery will become increasingly important as 5G networks and data-intensive applications. In this proposed work, the deployment of a caching architecture for 5G periphery networks using machine learning is done. Utilizing information on user behavior, network conditions, and content prominence enables more accurate forecasts and cache management decisions. This trains the prediction models using a wide range of machine-learning techniques to accommodate the ever-changing needs of both networks and content. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed architecture by measuring its ability to increase cache hit rates and decrease latency. These techniques significantly outperform the standard caching methods. With the intelligent caching architecture of 5G periphery networks, throughput is increased, latency is reduced, and congestion is alleviated. The findings of this study contribute to the growing corpus of literature on AI-driven optimization in 5G networks and shed light on how such solutions could be enhanced for future networks. Neural Networks achieved 96% accuracy than SVM which is 93%. © 2023 IEEE.

Reinforcement learning(RL) has roots in dynamic programming and it is called adaptive/approximate dynamic programming(ADP) within the control community. This paper reviews recent developments in ADP along with RL and its applications to various advanced control fields. First, the background of the development of ADP is described, emphasizing the significance of regulation and tracking control problems. Some effective offline and online algorithms for ADP/adaptive critic control are displayed, where the main results towards discrete-time systems and continuous-time systems are surveyed, ***, the research progress on adaptive critic control based on the event-triggered framework and under uncertain environment is discussed, respectively, where event-based design, robust stabilization, and game design are reviewed. Moreover, the extensions of ADP for addressing control problems under complex environment attract enormous attention. The ADP architecture is revisited under the perspective of data-driven and RL frameworks,showing how they promote ADP formulation ***, several typical control applications with respect to RL and ADP are summarized, particularly in the fields of wastewater treatment processes and power systems, followed by some general prospects for future research. Overall, the comprehensive survey on ADP and RL for advanced control applications has d emonstrated its remarkable potential within the artificial intelligence era. In addition, it also plays a vital role in promoting environmental protection and industrial intelligence.

Human-human interaction recognition is crucial in computer vision fields like surveillance,human-computer interaction,and social *** enhances systems’ability to interpret and respond to human behavior *** research focuses on recognizing human interaction behaviors using a static image,which is challenging due to the complexity of diverse *** overall purpose of this study is to develop a robust and accurate system for human interaction *** research presents a novel image-based human interaction recognition method using a Hidden Markov Model(HMM).The technique employs hue,saturation,and intensity(HSI)color transformation to enhance colors in video frames,making them more vibrant and visually appealing,especially in low-contrast or washed-out *** filters reduce noise and smooth imperfections followed by silhouette extraction using a statistical *** extraction uses the features from Accelerated Segment Test(FAST),Oriented FAST,and Rotated BRIEF(ORB)*** application of Quadratic Discriminant Analysis(QDA)for feature fusion and discrimination enables high-dimensional data to be effectively analyzed,thus further enhancing the classification *** ensures that the final features loaded into the HMM classifier accurately represent the relevant human *** impressive accuracy rates of 93%and 94.6%achieved in the BIT-Interaction and UT-Interaction datasets respectively,highlight the success and reliability of the proposed *** proposed approach addresses challenges in various domains by focusing on frame improvement,silhouette and feature extraction,feature fusion,and HMM *** enhances data quality,accuracy,adaptability,reliability,and reduction of errors.

How to collaboratively offload tasks between user devices,edge networks(ENs),and cloud data centers is an interesting and challenging research *** this paper,we investigate the offoading decision,analytical modeling,and system parameter optimization problem in a collaborative cloud-edge device environment,aiming to trade off different performance *** to the differentiated delay requirements of tasks,we classify the tasks into delay-sensitive and delay-tolerant *** meet the delay requirements of delay-sensitive tasks and process as many delay-tolerant tasks as possible,we propose a cloud-edge device collaborative task offoading scheme,in which delay-sensitive and delay-tolerant tasks follow the access threshold policy and the loss policy,*** establish a four-dimensional continuous-time Markov chain as the system *** using the Gauss-Seidel method,we derive the stationary probability distribution of the system ***,we present the blocking rate of delay-sensitive tasks and the average delay of these two types of *** experiments are conducted and analyzed to evaluate the system performance,and numerical simulations are presented to evaluate and validate the effectiveness of the proposed task offloading ***,we optimize the access threshold in the EN buffer to obtain the minimum system cost with different proportions of delay-sensitive tasks.

Building pattern informs urban spatial structure understanding and modeling. However, previous studies showed limitations on the identification of building groups which has complex spatial distribution. Specifically, they usually use original spatial or non-spatial characteristics but omit certain complementary among multi-faceted features of buildings. In this paper, we give a novel method based on a multi-view clustering framework, which establishes a centroid distance view and a building attribute view to recognize building patterns accurately. The two views are based on both the spatial structure and non-spatial attributes. The similarity graphs on these views, which are obtained by the Gaussian kernel function, are executed graph diffusion and fusion process to obtain a unified graph. Then, the clustering results are obtained via the Normalized cut algorithm. We conduct experiments to recognize building patterns by four real-world community building footprint datasets of two cities in China: Wuhan and Chengdu. The experimental results show that our proposed method identifies building groups with grid, grid-like and unstructured patterns more effectively. Our method performs better in seven evaluation indexes compared with the baseline model. © 2023 SPIE.

Deep learning techniques,particularly convolutional neural networks(CNNs),have exhibited remarkable performance in solving visionrelated problems,especially in unpredictable,dynamic,and challenging *** autonomous vehicles,imitation-learning-based steering angle prediction is viable due to the visual imagery comprehension of *** this regard,globally,researchers are currently focusing on the architectural design and optimization of the hyperparameters of CNNs to achieve the best *** has proven the superiority of metaheuristic algorithms over the manual-tuning of ***,to the best of our knowledge,these techniques are yet to be applied to address the problem of imitationlearning-based steering angle ***,in this study,we examine the application of the bat algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm for the optimization of the CNN model and its hyperparameters,which are employed to solve the steering angle prediction *** validate the performance of each hyperparameters’set and architectural parameters’set,we utilized the Udacity steering angle dataset and obtained the best results at the following hyperparameter set:optimizer,Adagrad;learning rate,0.0052;and nonlinear activation function,exponential linear *** per our findings,we determined that the deep learning models show better results but require more training epochs and time as compared to shallower *** show the superiority of our approach in optimizing CNNs through metaheuristic algorithms as compared with the manual-tuning *** testing was also performed using the model trained with the optimal architecture,which we developed using our approach.

Despite the incredible adoption of cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based cryptocurrencies have likewise raised some concerns. The scalability problem is the major one among them. An off-blockchain payment channel network (PCN) has been introduced to solve this issue. PCN can fundamentally reduce blockchain scalability by constructing a number of payment channels between the nodes and without committing every single transaction to the blockchain. But as a matter of fact, there has an unwanted assumption in PCN that channel participants must remain online and follow blockchain updates, for the synchronization with blockchain to protect the channel against deception. To mitigate this issue 'Watchtower' concept has been proposed. Watchtower is a watching service and always stays online that a channel participant can hire it by offering incentives for monitoring the channel and checking blockchain updates consistently to prevent fraud on behalf of the hiring party. However, watchtower may be more beneficial by cooperating with the cheating counterparty and neglecting to perform the watching service properly. The efficiency drawback can occur for that. In this work, we have been motivated by this issue and tried to find out an effective and reliable watchtower for the channel watching service from multiple watchtower nodes or candidates in the PCN. In particular, we have been approached by using the distributed Peterson Leader-Election Algorithm to find the best watchtower among multiple of them where the more successfully performed work node or candidate will be selected for the channel monitoring job. We also have provided a detailed step-by-step process of the algorithm including experiments and illustrations for employing watchtower among multiple of them. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press. The legal judgement prediction (LJP) of judicial texts represents a multi-label text classification (MLTC) problem, which in turn involves three distinct tasks: the prediction of charges, legal articles, and terms of penalty. Nevertheless, extant multi-label text classification models tend to eschew the consideration of multiple correlations and semantic information between labels when predicting judicial texts, which may result in the loss of pertinent information. Furthermore, these models do not take full advantage of the local and overall information of the labels in the process of selecting appropriate labels for the text using the multi-head attention mechanism. To address these issues, we propose a new model, BGFLFF, which explores label correlation and semantics among the three tasks by employing Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) and multi-head attention mechanisms. In particular, we propose a Bi-Graph Fusion GCN (BGF-GCN), which fuses the co-occurrence matrix of labels with the cosine similarity matrix, thereby fully exploiting the multiple correlations between labels. Furthermore, prior to embedding the tags, the interpretations of the labels are obtained via Google in order to enhance the semantic information between the labels. To further reinforce the interconnections between labels and text and more effectively comprehend the interrelationships between the three tasks, we propose a Multi-Head Label Feature Fusion Attentional Mechanism (MH-LFFAtt), which assigns distinct weights to the pertinent label information in the text by fusing the local and overall features of the labels. The experimental results demonstrate that the F1 score exhibits an improvement of up to 2. 2 8 % and a minimum of 1. 2 9 % across the various tasks of the two datasets. This evidence substantiates the assertion that BGFLFF outperforms the existing baseline model. © 2024 IEEE.

Brain tumors are a major source of illness and mortality globally, with about 11,700 persons diagnosed with one each year. Brain tumor diagnosis and categorization are critical for proper treatment planning, which can increase patients' life expectancy. Due to the intricacy of brain tumors and their attributes, the traditional approach of manual assessment of brain MRI images might be error-prone. Automated classification approaches based on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have been shown to be more accurate than manual categorization. Deep Learning techniques including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), and Transfer Learning (TL) have shown promising results for the automatic categorization of brain MRI images in this context. These automated procedures can save time and lessen the possibility of misdiagnosis, but they should always be used in tandem with clinical experience. The suggested method has the potential to significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of brain tumor identification and categorization for doctors and radiologists globally. © 2023 IEEE.

Stress is one of the major concerns for students in recent days. The rapid changes in the environment, lack of adoptability, life style habits, social media interactions, education, finance in all means, students build a resilient stress thinking about various issues. The proposed study considers the specific concern on hostel students and their impact of stress due to various reasons. Students staying away from the parents initially have certain level of stress and emotional imbalance. The presented study considers the measures taken so far to analyse the human stress level in changing environment, using various existing tools and techniques etc. the role of technology and recent developments impact the analysis pattern of these problems are discussed. The study considers the benefits of internet of things (IoT), Embedded systems and devices enabled to detect the stress levels. The system considerations, challenges in stress analysis models are explored.
