In a society that is looking for ways of sustainable development, the use of electric vehicles (EVs) can be an applicable solution in different fields of activity, including the tourism industry. The current research analyzes the possibility of using Buggy EVs in a predominantly agritourism region. In this sense, with the help of STELLA Architect, dynamic modeling software, a simulation is run to determine the potential behavior of tourists who use different types of off-road vehicles and their willingness to become Buggy EV users. Based on the data obtained, an algorithm is developed to size the fleet of Buggy EVs necessary for carrying out the activity, taking into account the most important characteristics of the existing Buggy EV, namely range, charging time and price. The results obtained from the study can be used as a starting point for improving the tourist experience, by integrating the technology we are so connected to.

The growing popularity of intelligent manufacturing is driven by deterministic transmission demands of applications in industrial cyber-physical systems(ICPS). However, the ossified shortages of industrial wireless communication such as diverse quality of service(Qo S) and complex signaling processes incur a severe long tail of transmission delay distribution. As a solution, the 5 th generation(5 G) wireless communication technology provides ultra-reliable and low-latency communication(URLLC) for industry scenarios. Moreover, the newly proposed time-sensitive networking(TSN) standards guarantee the transmission determinacy by gate mechanism. In this paper, we propose a heterogeneous time-sensitive network(HTSN) co-designed by 5 G and TSN. We first develop a predictive multi-priority wireless scheduling mechanism based on semi-persistent scheduling(SPS) to reduce signaling delay by reserving resources in *** we propose an adaptive data injection mechanism for TSN based on per-stream filtering and policing(PSFP), which dynamically adjusts the priority of data for queue injection in TSN. To further reduce the long tail of delay, we employ a risk-sensitive learning method to improve the worst-case delay. Simulations on a hot rolling production scenario demonstrate that the proposed mechanisms under HTSN achieve great performance in terms of integrated delay and resource utilization.

With this work, a research contribution in the field of reliability theory has been made, with which a realistic prognosis of reliability parameters of technical systems can be carried out. The motivation to deal with this topic resulted from the realization that the prognosis quality of established prognosis models must be optimized. An early and realistic prognosis of reliability parameters contributes to the success of a concern, mainly through the early implementation of quality measures. The work focuses on the development of a new multivariate prognosis model, which uses multivariate stress parameters as reference variables. Its application enables the prediction of reliability parameters for electronic control units. The predicted reliability parameters can be specified as stress-dependent (bivariate/multivariate) or time-dependent variables. While univariate reference quantities usually use the time dwell time of a technical system, the prognosis model newly presented here can process multivariate reference quantities. During the time in the field, technical systems are not only exposed to different usage behavior, but also to other stresses and influences that make a not inconsiderable contribution to failure. The use of time in the field as a univariate reference variable does not allow for this differentiated consideration and does not take into account relevant information in the reliability analysis. All existing prediction models have in common that only univariate reference parameters can be processed. For a fully comprehensive reliability analysis, all stress variables that lead to a failure must be considered. This is not sufficiently possible with a simple univariate approach. With the new approaches, it is now possible for the first time to consider different stress variables, their changes and their effects on the technical system under investigation in a field data analysis.
