Dataflow architecture has shown its advantages in many high-performance computing cases. In dataflow computing, a large amount of data are frequently transferred among processing elements through the network-on-chip (NoC). Thus the router design has a significant impact on the performance of dataflow architecture. Common routers are designed for control-flow multi-core architecture and we find they are not suitable for dataflow architecture. In this work, we analyze and extract the features of data transfers in NoCs of dataflow architecture: multiple destinations, high injection rate, and performance sensitive to delay. Based on the three features, we propose a novel and efficient NoC router for dataflow architecture. The proposed router supports multi-destination; thus it can transfer data with multiple destinations in a single transfer. Moreover, the router adopts output buffer to maximize throughput and adopts non-flit packets to minimize transfer delay. Experimental results show that the proposed router can improve the performance of dataflow architecture by 3.6x over a state-of-the-art router.

In this paper, we study the semi-global output containment control problem of a multi-agent system in the presence of actuator saturation over a directed network. The leader and follower agents are of different dynamics, and the follower agents are affected by disturbances generated by the leader agents through directed paths in the communication topology. The control objective of the output containment control is to drive the output trajectories of the follower agents to converge to the convex hull spanned by the outputs of the leader agents in the presence of disturbances. Low gain feedback containment protocols are constructed based on the output regulation approach and distributed observers. It is shown that semi-global output containment control can be achieved by the proposed protocols, if each follower agent is connected to at least one leader agent through a directed path in the communication topology. Simulation results verify the theoretical conclusions.

Size tunable cobalt hollow nanospheres with high catalytic activity for the ammonia borane(AB) hydrolysis have been synthesized by using the solvothermal method. The complexation between Co2+and ethylenediamine is observed to be critical for the formation of the cobalt hollow nanospherical *** morphology of the cobalt hollow nanospheres can be regulated by adjusting the original ethylenediamine/ethanol volume ratio, reaction time and temperature. Impressively, the magnetic property study reveals that the coercivity of the as-synthesized cobalt hollow nanospheres is much enhanced compared with that of bulk cobalt materials. Meanwhile, Co/Pt bimetal hollow nanospheres(Co Pt HS) and graphene-cobalt hollow composite nanospheres(Co HS-r GO) have also been explored. In comparison with the cobalt hollow nanospheres, both the Co Pt HS and Co HS-r GO show higher catalytic activities and better repeatability for the catalytic hydrogen generation from AB hydrolysis. Moreover, it is noted that these catalysts could be recycled by using the magnetic separation method.

As for a pipe-line plant subjected to complex logical control specifications, an approach is proposed to generate the control codes via Petri net such that the plant is run as concurrently as possible. A PN model, called the plant net, is designed to represent the whole process of a pipe-line system. In this plant net, the tasks, including fluid transportation from one tank to another and cleaning tank, are represented by operational places, and level sensors in tanks are modeled by labels assigned with transitions. Further, conflict structures are used to describe the conflict relations among tasks due to the shared valves and pipes. By introducing a priority order in the transitions, an algorithm is presented to compute the control commands for valves based on this plant net. A beer filtration plant is taken as an example to illustrate the method.
