Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities continue to pose a formidable challenge in the realm of web application security due to their prevalence. despite the development of various defense mechanisms, including input validation techniques and code differentiation strategies, these solutions have struggled to achieve broad adoption in real-world environments due to persistent issues such as unreliable detection, high computational overhead, scalability limitations, and compatibility concerns. This paper introduces a novel managed proxy-based framework for XSS defense, positioned strategically between the web browser and the web server. This framework employs a tag-based XSS protection mechanism alongside a defense-in-depth strategy, providing robust protection not only against XSS attacks but also against other web threats. Furthermore, the framework integrates advanced web front-end hardening techniques to significantly complicate the exploitation of potential vulnerabilities. Comprehensive practical evaluations indicate that the proposed framework is both flexible and effective, demonstrating outstanding performance across multiple dimensions. © 2024 IEEE.

This article describes the challenges in the use of the stereo camera for forward obstacle detection for automatic operation and verifies the possibility of the use of LidAr as a complementing device. Particularly, we evaluated the detection performance of LidAr under environmental conditions in which the stereo camera has difficulty in distance measurement. We confirmed that the detection performance of the stereo camera can be complemented by combining with LidAr to improve forward obstacle detection performance. We will further collect data under various weather conditions and conduct evaluation and performance verification. © 2023 Japan railway Engineers' Association. All rights reserved.

To satisfy the service-side requirements for network layer authentication and traceability of users, this paper proposes a method for mobile terminal authentication and identity tracing based on IPv6 and blockchain. Our method introduces a new verification function (VEF) to verify the interface identification between the terminal and the 5G core network (5GC), thereby effectively enhancing the security of terminal access. Furthermore, considering the privacy protection of user identity information to prevent attackers from deducing encrypted content, it is necessary to periodically update encryption keys. Focusing on the practical deployment of VEFs on a network-wide scale and server-proximal for authentication and traceability, a time-varying key sharing scheme based on blockchain is proposed. The experimental section analyzes the communication performance and security of the proposed scheme, showing that our scheme does not significantly degrade the original network performance while providing substantial security gains. © 2024 IEEE.

Under the impetus of the paradigm shift driven by the global digital ecosystem, cybersecurity has become a critical issue of ever-increasing importance. This study provides an in-depth analysis of the current state and future trends of cybersecurity strategies and methods, offering a comprehensive assessment of the changes in the global cybersecurity landscape. It details the development of international cybersecurity strategies, with a focus on the policies of the United States and the European Union. The study also explores mainstream cybersecurity methods such as cyber resilience, security by design, and zero trust, as well as China’s original theories on endogenous safety and security and the mimic defense technology. Based on this, this study points out that the cybersecurity development in China has advantages such as a vast-market application scenario, a complete information industry chain, a systematic talent training system, and original technical theories. However, there is still room for improvement in security responsibility allocation mechanisms, legal system completeness, and security standards development. The study recommends accelerating the formulation of cybersecurity policies and regulations with Chinese characteristics, constructing a cybersecurity architecture based ons endogenous safety and security, and shifting cybersecurity responsibilities from the user side to the manufacturing side. These measures aim to provide strong support for establishing a comprehensive cybersecurity responsibility and quality control system, enhancing the overall security of digital products. © 2025 Beijing Zhongguo Gongcheng Kexue Zazhishe. With the advancement of 3d packaging technology, the demand for low-temperature fine-pitch hybrid bonding has increased drastically. In this research, we developed 250°C low-temperature C2W (chip-to-wafer) nano-crystalline copper hybrid bonding with a chip including 2μm, 3μm, and 5μm different pad sizes. The fine-pitch (4 μm) daisy chain with a maximum of 672,150 bonding nodes was successfully connected, having an interlayer interconnect density of 6.26 × 10 6 cm −2 . The microstructure, electrical, and mechanical properties of Cu-Cu hybrid bonding were evaluated, showing superior reliability following thermal cycling tests. With the alignment accuracy <0.5μm, the maximum bonding strength reached 9.01 MPa. Through EBSd analysis, nano-crystalline copper is beneficial for the development of low-temperature (<250°C) fine-pitch hybrid bonding. By conducting nano-crystalline copper, the present study exhibits a significant step forward in the development of hybrid bonding technology for high-density and low-temperature applications.

We have developed a non-entry manhole inspection technique with a function for automatic deterioration judgment. This enables workers to operate safely without having to enter manholes and can eliminate the need to drain manholes, substantially reducing the inspection workload. This technique not only improves the safety and efficiency of manhole inspections but also yields high-resolution inspection images that can be used to accurately predict the deterioration of facilities. It can therefore play an important role in improving the maintenance cycle. © 2023 Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp.. All rights reserved.

Often machine learning applications rely on batch learning for training, but a complete set of network communications data may not be readily available. Therefore, this work evaluates the potential for an online learning and detection method that uses an Adaptive resonance Theory (ArT) artificial neural network to protect internet connected photovoltaic (PV) inverters. The methodology involves an initial anomaly detection step to see if the ArT algorithm recognizes the behavior. If not, the distance between the nearest ArT template (or memory category) is computed and compared with a user defined threshold. distances that exceed the threshold are flagged while smaller distances designate the data as normal and thus included in the neural network training. It is evident, through experimental tests, that the proposed approach recognizes normal activity and appropriately identifies adversary reconnaissance and denial-of-service actions.
