PCB routing becomes time-consuming as the complexity of PCB design increases. Unlike traditional schemes that treat the two essential PCB routing processes separately, namely, escape and bus routing, we consider the continuity between them and present a golden-pin-based routing scheme to find the desired solution with angle and topology constraints. Further, conventional rip-up and reroute methods are often ineffective and inefficient for congestion alleviation and routability optimization. We construct a component graph by modeling components as vertices and applying the minimum weight vertex covering method to improve the routability. A self-adaptable ordering method is presented for escape routing to arrange the pin order on the component boundary, guaranteeing successful bus routing. In addition, escape routing is performed based on a disjoint path method. We construct a dynamic Hanan grid in bus routing and utilize a novel congestion adjustment technique to improve solution quality. Compared with FreeRouting and Allegro, the experiment results show that our algorithm achieves high routability and a significant 90% runtime reduction.

Mobile computing systems, service-based systems and some other systems with mobile interacting components have recently received much attention. However, because of their characteristics such as mobility and disconnection, it is difficult to model and analyze them by using a structure-fixed model. This work proposes a new Petri net model called Variable Petri Net (VPN) for modeling and analyzing these systems. The definition, firing rule, and related analysis technology of VPN are introduced in detail. In a VPN, the possible interaction interfaces are abstracted as a new kind of places called virtual places, and the occurrences of (dis)connections are described by new functions, which makes it appropriate to describe the component collaboration in systems and realize the scalability and pluggability of systems. Moreover, to overcome the shortcoming that markings cannot reflect link capability of a system, VPNs add a constraint function along with a marking to represent a complete system configuration. TBNet:Two-stream boundary-aware network for generic image manipulation localization

Finding tampered regions in images is a hot research topic in machine learning and computer vision. Although many image manipulation location algorithms have been proposed, most of them only focus on the RGB images with different color spaces, and the frequency information that contains the potential tampering clues is often ignored. Moreover, among the manipulation operations, splicing and copy-move are two frequently used methods, but as their characteristics are quite different, specific methods have been individually designed for detecting the operations of either splicing or copy-move, and it is very difficult to widely apply these methods in practice. To solve these issues, in this work, a novel end-to-end two-stream boundary-aware network (abbreviated as TBNet) is proposed for generic image manipulation localization in which the RGB stream, the frequency stream, and the boundary artifact location are explored in a unified framework. Specifically, we first design an adaptive frequency selection module (AFS) to adaptively select the appropriate frequency to mine inconsistent statistics and eliminate the interference of redundant statistics. Then, an adaptive cross-attention fusion module (ACF) is proposed to adaptively fuse the RGB feature and the frequency feature. Finally, the boundary artifact location network (BAL) is designed to locate the boundary artifacts for which the parameters are jointly updated by the outputs of the ACF, and its results are further fed into the decoder. Thus, the parameters of the RGB stream, the frequency stream, and the boundary artifact location network are jointly optimized, and their latent complementary relationships are fully mined. Convolutional neural network (CNN)-based object detection for optical remote sensing images has achieved higher accuracy compared with traditional detection methods with handcrafted features. However, the deep and large CNNs make it hard to be deployed in real-Time scenarios with limited computation, storage, power and bandwidth resources, for example, data processing onboard airborne, satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles for search and rescue. Therefore, in this paper we present a high-performance object detection approach for optical remote sensing images. Based on the widely used Faster R-CNN framework, we integrate state-of-The-Art lightweight CNNs as backbone to extract features, slim the heavy-head architecture of two-stage detector by reducing dimensions of features, and fine-Tune our models with NWPU VHR-10 optical remote sensing dataset. Besides, the multi-Threading for CPU and detection in batches for GPU are deployed to enhance the throughput of detectors and utilization of multi-core CPU and many-core GPU. Experiments show that our presented detection approach can significantly reduce the model size, computation complexity and detection time, while maintaining competitive accuracy. Specifically, the one with ShuffleNet-v2 and slimmed features has achieved a highest mean average precision of 94.39%, a lowest computational complexity of 18.97 Giga floating point operations, a highest detection speed of 90.10 frames per second (fps) for GPU and 3.07 fps for CPU, corresponding to speedups of 6.94X and 13.26X compared with the baseline on the benchmarked system, with a model size of 13.6 MB. Moreover, it further improves the efficiency and achieves 4.98 fps on CPU with 4 threads, and 200.24 fps on GPU with a batch size of 32. © 2020 IEEE.

Universal deep network for steganalysis of color image based on channel representation

Up to now, most existing steganalytic methods are designed for grayscale images, and they are not suitable for color images that are widely used in current social networks. In this paper, we design a universal color image steganalysis network (called UCNet) in spatial and JPEG domains. The proposed method includes preprocessing, convolutional, and classification modules. To preserve the steganographic artifacts in each color channel, in preprocessing module, we firstly separate the input image into three channels according to the corresponding embedding spaces (i.e. RGB for spatial steganography and YCbCr for JPEG steganography), and then extract the image residuals with 62 fixed high-pass filters, finally concatenate all truncated residuals for subsequent analysis rather than adding them together with normal convolution like existing CNN-based steganalyzers. To accelerate the network convergence and effectively reduce the number of parameters, in convolutional module, we carefully design three types of layers with different shortcut connections and group convolution structures to further learn high-level steganalytic features. In classification module, we employ a global average pooling and fully connected layer for classification. We conduct extensive experiments on ALASKA II to demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve state-of-the-art results compared with the modern CNN-based steganalyzers (e.g., SRNet and J-YeNet) in both spatial and JPEG domains, while keeping relatively few memory requirements and training time. Furthermore, we also provide necessary descriptions and many ablation experiments to verify the rationality of the network design. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The problems to optimize the resources of information and communication technologies in a public company in Ecuador are evident, it is necessary to improve the management of the use of ICT to provide services effectively and efficiently to users. The objective of this research is to analyze the appropriate information technology parameters to optimize management in a public company. The deductive method and exploratory research were used to analyze the information. It turned out that the implementation of the architecture integrated by COBIT and ITIL are options to establish the conditions to generate spaces for communicability, generate common benefits, improve public management, use of technological resources and reduce costs. It was concluded that the use of the COBIT and ITIL models are alternatives to improve the management of public companies, optimize the quality of services, generate trust in users, reduce risks in projects, improve company administration and reduce costs. © 2020 IEEE.

Accuracy analysis of the on-board data reduction pipeline for the Polarimetric and Helioseismic Imager on the Solar Orbiter mission

Context: Scientific data reduction on-board deep space missions is a powerful approach to maximise science return, in the absence of wide telemetry bandwidths. The Polarimetric and Helioseismic Imager (PHI) on-board the Solar Orbiter (SO) is the first solar spectropolarimeter that opted for this solution, and provides the scientific community with science-ready data directly from orbit. This is the first instance of full solar spectropolarimetric data reduction on a spacecraft. Methods: In this paper, we analyse the accuracy achieved by the on-board data reduction, which is determined by the trade-offs taken to reduce computational demands and to ensure the autonomous operation of the instrument during the data reduction process. We look at the magnitude and nature of errors introduced in the different pipeline steps of the processing. We use an MHD sunspot simulation to isolate the data processing from other sources of inaccuracy. We process the data set with calibration data obtained from SO/PHI in orbit, and compare results calculated on a representative SO/PHI model on ground with a reference implementation of the same pipeline, without the on-board processing trade-offs. Results: Our investigation shows that the accuracy in the determination of the Stokes vectors, achieved by the data processing, is at least two orders of magnitude better than what the instrument was designed to achieve as final accuracy. Therefore, the data accuracy and the polarimetric sensitivity is not compromised by the on-board data processing. Furthermore, we also found that the errors in the physical parameters are within the numerical accuracy of typical RTE inversions with a Milne-Eddington approximation of the atmosphere. Conclusion: This paper demonstrates that the on-board data reduction of the data from SO/PHI does not compromise the accuracy of the processing.
