Tomato leaf diseases significantly impact crop production,necessitating early detection for sustainable *** Learning(DL)has recently shown excellent results in identifying and classifying tomato leaf ***,current DL methods often require substantial computational resources,hindering their application on resource-constrained *** propose the Deep Tomato Detection Network(DTomatoDNet),a lightweight DL-based framework comprising 19 learnable layers for efficient tomato leaf disease classification to overcome *** Convn kernels used in the proposed(DTomatoDNet)framework is 1×1,which reduces the number of parameters and helps in more detailed and descriptive feature extraction for *** proposed DTomatoDNet model is trained from scratch to determine the classification success rate.10,000 tomato leaf images(1000 images per class)from the publicly accessible dataset,covering one healthy category and nine disease categories,are utilized in training the proposed DTomatoDNet *** specifically,we classified tomato leaf images into Target Spot(TS),Early Blight(EB),Late Blight(LB),Bacterial Spot(BS),Leaf Mold(LM),Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus(YLCV),Septoria Leaf Spot(SLS),Spider Mites(SM),Tomato Mosaic Virus(MV),and Tomato Healthy(H).The proposed DTomatoDNet approach obtains a classification accuracy of 99.34%,demonstrating excellent accuracy in differentiating between tomato *** model could be used on mobile platforms because it is lightweight and designed with fewer *** farmers can utilize the proposed DTomatoDNet methodology to detect disease more quickly and easily once it has been integrated into mobile platforms by developing a mobile application.

The proposed IoT-based Smart Curve Monitoring and Alert system is designed to improve road safety through the fusion of embedded systems, machine learning and edge computing technologies. The proposed system is primarily powered by ESP32 microcontroller, continuously gathers data from an array of sensors, including accelerometers, gyroscopes and a potentiometer to set the speed limit. This collected data is then subjected to analysis by a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model, which has been trained to recognize driving patterns, especially when navigating curves. Here, CNN classifies the vehicle's behavior as safe and risky, and if a risky behavior is identified, it triggers an alert and dispatches relevant data to a NodeMCU device. The NodeMCU plays a crucial role in the system by monitoring the communication tasks. It receives the alert from the ESP32, validates the vehicle's speed against the preset limit, and, if necessary, activates a GSM module to send an immediate notification to designated guardian. To ensure real-time monitoring and awareness, all pertinent information will be displayed on the LCD screen, including the vehicle's behavior classification, current speed, speed limit and alert status. By addressing reckless driving behaviors, particularly on curves, the system contributes significantly to safer roads and reinforces the importance of responsible driving practices. © 2024 IEEE.

The automobile service industry's explosive growth highlights the need for creative approaches to boost operational effectiveness and user experience. This study introduces a Hybrid Garage Assistance system, integrating Classical Machine Learning (ML) techniques with Generative AI to optimize garage service discovery and analysis. The system employs sophisticated data processing methods, including Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) vectorization and regex-based service detection, to extract actionable insights from unstructured garage *** to the system are machine learning models Random Forest (RF) and XGBoost (XGB) which achieve high precision and recall in classifying garage services. A hybrid search mechanism, combining cosine similarity with ML-driven predictions, ensures the delivery of highly personalized search results. To further refine decision-making, the system incorporates Generative AI models such as Perplexity for web-based research, Gemini for location-specific analysis, Mistral for email sending and GPT-4 for detailed service recommendations and dall-e for creating user specific parts images. These advanced tools provide users with comprehensive information that enables them to make well-informed decisions about garage *** evaluation of the system is conducted using robust metrics, including precision, recall, F1-score, and system latency. Experimental results reveal a precision of 85%, recall of 70.8%, and an F1-score of 77.2%, demonstrating the efficacy of integrating classical ML with generative AI. The prominence growth of the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry requests from researcher to adopts effective controlling techniques for marinating different issues. A QOE-AWARE STRATEGY FOR ENERGY SAVING IN A FOG-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING system

In the Fog-based Environmental Monitoring system (FEMS), the frequency at which Internet of Thing (IoT) devices upload monitoring data and the frequency at which users obtain monitoring data can highly affect energy consumption, data timeliness, and user quality of experience (QoE). How to reduce energy consumption while achieving high data timeliness and user QoE is not only important but also challenging. We propose a QoE-aware strategy to schedule the frequency at which users obtain monitoring data and the frequency at which IoT devices upload monitoring data. The QoE-aware strategy sets the changing tolerance (CT) of monitoring data according to the requirements of different applications in different environments. CT indicates the sensitivity of the application to the change of the environmental data. Only when the changing rate of monitoring data exceeds the CT value set, the IoT device uploads monitoring data to the fog server. Besides, to meet the requirements of reducing data traffic and achieving high data timeliness, users can set different values of QoE Index (QI), i.e., the achievement rate for timely access, according to different environmental requirements. With the QI value, the fog server can calculate the optimal time interval (i.e., access period, AP) for users to access monitoring data. Consequently, by setting the values of CT, QI, and AP according to the requirements of different applications in different environments, the QoE-aware strategy is able to achieve the lowest energy consumption and the highest data timeliness. © 2023, Chinese Institute of Electrical engineering. DeepFakes and face image manipulation methods have been widely distributed in the last few years and several techniques have been presented to check the authenticity of the face image and detect manipulation if exists. Most of the available manipulation detection techniques have been successfully applied to reveal one type of manipulation under specific conditions, however, many limitations and challenges can be encountered in this field. To overcome some limitations and challenges, this paper presents a new face image authentication (FIA) scheme based on Multi-Task Cascaded Conventional Neural Networks (MTCNN) and watermarking in Slantlet transform (SLT) domain. The proposed FIA scheme has three main algorithms that are face detection and selection, embedding, and extraction algorithms. Different block sizes have been used to divide the image into non-overlapping blocks followed by classifying them into two groups that are blocks from face area (FA) and blocks from the remaining area (RA) of the image. In the embedding algorithms, the authentication information is generated from FA blocks and embedded in the RA blocks. In the extraction algorithms, the embedded information is extracted from RA blocks and compared with the calculated data from FA blocks to reveal manipulations and localize the manipulated blocks if exist. Extensive experiments have been conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed FIA scheme for different face images. The experimental work included tests for payload, capacity, visual quality, time complexity, and localization of manipulations. The results proved the efficiency of the proposed scheme in detecting and localizing different face image manipulations such as attributes attacks, retouching attacks, expression swap, face swap, and morphing attacks. Web search engines are used for retrieving information but still there exists ambiguity in their retrieval process. It is so because traditional search engines laid emphasis on matching of keywords rather than maintaining semantic relations among terms lack of ability to produce precise results, presence of ambiguous keywords and verifying needs of users are few hindrances that are acting as scenario for web search engines. In a distribution system, power loss and voltage deviation are the main concern for the customers and utility. The distribution system has a lower voltage level and higher amount of flowing current than the transmission system, so that, the percentage real power loss in the distribution system is higher. This study addresses power loss and voltage deviation concerns in distribution systems. It optimizes the Yirgalem-Ethiopia radial distribution network using the Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) and solar Distributed Generation (DG). SSA outperforms other algorithms in reducing real and reactive power losses and improving the voltage profile. The approach minimizes network costs and maintains voltage within acceptable limits. It proves cost-effective, demonstrating significant power loss reduction and improved voltage profiles. The resource feasibility of solar and wind power in Yirgalem city was analyzed and the outcomes showed that solar power generation is more desirable. For this reason, the solar-type Distributed Generation (DG) is used. The proposed SSA algorithm was compared with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) in three various scenarios (only optimal network reconfiguration, only optimal DG size and site, and simultaneous optimal network reconfiguration and DG allocation) for the Aposto feeder. As stated, the SSA method performs better in terms of reducing both real and reactive power losses and improvement of voltage profile. The model has been formulated to minimize the total cost of the network by determining the optima of the substation locations and power, the load transfers between the demand centers, the feeder routes and the load flow in the network subject to a set of constraints. From the point of view of economic evaluations, the proposed approach is cost-effective.
