Aiming at the problem of low prediction certainty of existing load forecasting methods, this paper proposes a short-term load forecasting system that is based on the LSTM neural network. The original dataset is first processed by the median elimination method, Markov-Monte Carlo algorithm and improved hierarchical clustering algorithm. Then, the data are input into the LSTM prediction model optimized by the Adam method and SGD method for prediction. The example analysis proves that the method proposed in this paper has better prediction accuracy, which is helpful for the planning and movement of the power system. © 2024 SPIE.

Candidate bacterial phylum CSP1-3 has not been cultivated and is poorly understood. Here, we analyzed 112 CSP1-3 metagenome-assembled genomes and showed they are likely facultative anaerobes, with 3 of 5 families encoding autotrophy through the reductive glycine pathway(RGP), Wood–Ljungdahl pathway(WLP) or Calvin-Benson-Bassham(CBB), with hydrogen or sulfide as electron donors. Chemoautotrophic enrichments from hot spring sediments and fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed enrichment of six CSP1-3 genera, and both transcribed genes and DNA-stable isotope probing were consistent with proposed chemoautotrophic metabolisms. Ancestral state reconstructions showed that the ancestors of phylum CSP1-3 may have been acetogens that were autotrophic via the RGP, whereas the WLP and CBB were acquired by horizontal gene transfer. Our results reveal that CSP1-3 is a widely distributed phylum with the potential to contribute to the cycling of carbon, sulfur and nitrogen. The name Sysuimicrobiota phy. nov. is proposed.

A multi-hop nondestructive teleportation scheme independent of channel parameters based on Bell pairs is presented,where the coefficients of the quantum channel are unknown to all the communication *** Bell measurement and channel matching technology the unknown channel parameters can be eliminated probabilistically with the help of the intermediate *** the source node Alice can teleport an unknown state to the remote destination node *** our scheme the teleportation is generalized first to the scenario independent of channel parameters,which makes the requirement of quantum channel *** scheme still preserves the initial unknown state even if this teleportation ***,performance analysis shows that our scheme has a higher communication efficiency.

This paper proposes a pricing strategy for the Market by using a Stackelberg game-based bi-level programming model. In the model, the wholesale price and the retail price is optimized by the Market to increase its profit. In the model, the Energy Provider (EP) optimize optimizes the adjustment coefficient to increase the trading probability with the Utility Company (UC). Besides, the Market can sell the power to the UC directly. Then, the UCs determine their retail price by non-cooperative game to increase their profit. The simulation results reveal that the Market determines the optimal price to maximize profits. On the other hand, the proposed price strategy of EP can increase the trading probability, which promotes more UCs to trade with EP, thus increasing its benefit. Finally, UCs get a bash equilibrium through the non-cooperative game. The research proves that the proposed strategy is a win–win strategy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In this paper,the channel capacity of the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)visible light communication(VLC)system is investigated under the peak,average optical and electrical power *** the channel capacity of MIMO VLC is shown to be a mixed integer programming *** address this open problem,we propose an inexact gradient projection method to find the channel capacity-achieving discrete input distribution and the channel capacity of MIMO *** we derive both upper and lower bounds of the capacity of MIMO VLC with the closed-form ***,by considering practical discrete constellation inputs,we develop the optimal power allocation scheme to maximize transmission rate of MIMO VLC *** results show that more discrete points are needed to achieve the channel capacity as SNR *** the upper and lower bounds of channel capacity are tight at low SNR *** addition,comparing the equal power allocation,the proposed power allocation scheme can significantly increase the rate for the low-order modulation inputs.

The underwater wireless optical communication(UWOC)system has gradually become essential to underwater wireless communication *** other existing works on UWOC systems,this paper evaluates the proposed machine learningbased signal demodulation methods through the selfbuilt experimental *** on such a platform,we first construct a real signal dataset with ten modulation ***,we propose a deep belief network(DBN)-based demodulator for feature extraction and multi-class feature *** also design an adaptive boosting(Ada Boost)demodulator as an alternative scheme without feature filtering for multiple modulated ***,it is demonstrated by extensive experimental results that the Ada Boost demodulator significantly outperforms the other *** also reveals that the demodulator accuracy decreases as the modulation order increases for a fixed received optical power.A higher-order modulation may achieve a higher effective transmission rate when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is higher.

Wastewater treatment is an important source of greenhouse gases(GHGs).Yet large uncertainties remain in the quantification of GHG emissions from municipal wastewater treatment plants(MWWTPs)in China.A high-resolution and technology-specific emission inventory is still lacking to support mitigation strategies of *** we develop a plant-level and technology-based MWWTP emission inventory for China covering 8703 plants and 19 treatment technology categories by compiling and harmonizing the most up-to-date facility-level ***'s methane(CH_(4))and nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emissions from MWWTPs in 2020 are estimated to be 150.6 Gg and 22.0 Gg,respectively,with the uncertainty range of-30%to 37%and-30%to 26%at 95%confidence *** find an emission inequality across cities,with the richest cities emitting two times more CH_(4)and N_(2)O per capita from municipal wastewater treatment than the poorest *** emitted CH_(4)and N_(2)O are dominated by Anaerobic/Anoxic/Oxic-,Sequencing Batch Reactor-,Oxidation Ditch-,and Anoxic/Oxic-based MWWTPs of less than 20 years *** the relatively young age structure of China's MWWTPs,the committed emissions highlight the importance of reducing on-site GHG emissions by optimization of operating conditions and innovation *** emission differences among our estimates,previous studies,and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change guidelines are largely attributed to the uncertainties in emission factors,implying the urgent need for more plant-integrated measurements to improve the accuracy of emission accounting.
