The research status, mathematical models, and fault-tolerant control methods of hypersonic flight vehicles are reviewed. The current research progress of fault-tolerant control methods for hypersonic flight vehicles is summarized based on the typical hypersonic flight vehicles and their mathematical models. The fault-tolerant control methods are mainly divided into active fault-tolerant control and passive fault-tolerant control. The active fault-tolerant control needs to diagnose fault information and carry out fault-tolerant control strategy based on fault diagnosis results. The passive fault-tolerant control should have strong robustness with the design of the control system, it can adaptively suppress the impact of faults without diagnosis when faults occur. The typical fault-tolerant control methods mainly include approximate linear robust control, linear quadratic optimal control, linear parameter varying control, backstepping control, feedback linearization control, sliding mode control. The present status of fault-tolerant control methods of hypersonic flight vehicles and the application of advanced control methods in hypersonic flight vehicles are showed, then the future development trend is forecasted. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

This paper aims to propose a topology optimization method on generating porous structures comprising multiple *** mathematical optimization formulation is established under the constraints of individual volume fraction of constituent phase or total mass,as well as the local volume fraction of all *** original optimization problem with numerous constraints is converted into a box-constrained optimization problem by incorporating all constraints to the augmented Lagrangian function,avoiding the parameter dependence in the conventional aggregation ***,the local volume percentage can be precisely *** effects including the globalmass bound,the influence radius and local volume percentage on final designs are exploited through numerical *** numerical results also reveal that porous structures keep a balance between the bulk design and periodic design in terms of the resulting *** results,including those for irregular structures andmultiple volume fraction constraints,demonstrate that the proposedmethod can provide an efficient solution for multiple material infill structures.

In the field of computer-aided medicine, automated surgical gesture recognition is an important research direction. Its main applications include automated skills assessment, intraoperative guidance, and education and training systems. Current research has focused on robotic surgery, and there is less research on surgical gestures for open surgery. Therefore, in this study, a new simulated open surgery dataset was developed, and a series of surgical gestures for open surgery were defined for closure the abdomen surgery with the cooperation of professional doctors. In addition, this paper uses the classical algorithm 3DCNN and SlowFast model in the field of action recognition to perform offline recognition of surgical gestures for open surgery on the dataset. 3DCNN uses R3D and R(2+1)D models. The experimental results show that on the self-built open surgical dataset, the R3D model has the best surgical gesture recognition results, with an accuracy rate of 90.4%, a precision rate of 90.5%, and a recall rate of 90.0%. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper focuses on cooperative formation tracking problem of heterogeneous leader-following multi-UAVs with faulty sensors where the faulty sensors of the followers can only measure the partial output of the leader. First, the kinematic models of heterogeneous multi-UAVs based on the individual speed response time constants are established. Then, by utilizing the output regulation method, a formation controller based on a distributed observer is proposed based on partial outputs obtained by the faulty sensors of the followers. It should be noted that the proposed controller can achieve formation tracking of UAVs with faulty sensors to the leader UAV. Finally, a simulation example is performed to check out the validation of the proposed methods. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Fine particles associated with haze pollution threaten the health of over 400 million people in China. Owing to excellent non-destructive fingerprint recognition characteristics, Raman and surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) are often used to analyze the composition of fine particles to determine their physical and chemical properties as well as reaction mechanisms. However, there is no comprehensive Raman spectral library of fine particles. Furthermore, various studies that used SERS for fine-particle composition analysis showed that the uniqueness of the SERS substrates and different excitation wavelengths can produce a different spectrum for the same fine-particle component. To overcome this limitation, we conducted SERS experiments with a portable Raman spectrometer using two common SERS substrates(silver(Ag) foil and gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)) and a 785 nm laser. Herein, we introduced three main particle component types(sulfate-nitrate-ammonium(SNA), organic material, and soot) with a total of 39 chemical substances. We scanned the solid Raman, liquid Raman, and SERS spectra of these substances and constructed a fine-particle reference library containing 105 spectra. Spectral results indicated that for soot and SNA, the differences in characteristic peaks mainly originated from the solid-liquid phase transition;Ag foil had little effect on this difference, while the Au NPs caused a significant red shift in the peak positions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Moreover, with various characteristic peak positions in the three types of spectra, we could quickly and correctly distinguish substances. We hope that this spectral library will aid in the future identification of fine particles.

In practical engineering, it is usually difficult to label monitoring data, and the fault diagnosis accuracy is not high in strong noise environment. To solve the above problems, this paper uses Cwt-CatGAN method to process signals and diagnose faults. In this method, CWT is first used to convert one-dimensional original vibration signals into two-dimensional time–frequency graphs as the input of classification generation admixture network. Then, the CatGAN model is obtained through the adversarial training process, and fake samples similar to the extraction distribution of CWT are generated. Finally, the input samples are clustered into certain categories. In addition, the performance of the Cwt-CatGAN method is verified by using the classical rotating machine data set, the experiment is compared with the unsupervised fault diagnosis model CatAAE. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Virtual synchronous generator is used to control independent microgrid to provide inertia and damping support, but it often brings transient stability problems. Due to the large number of nonlinear and non-smooth characteristics of highly electronic independent microgrid, it is difficult to analyze it by the traditional transient stability analysis method. In this paper, the independent microgrid controlled by virtual synchronization is taken as the object. Firstly, we compare the impact of detailed modeling of energy storage and simplified modeling on the transient stability, and then discuss the impact of current limiting link of virtual synchronous machine on the transient stability. Secondary, combined with the idea of graph neural network, we propose an independent microgrid transient stability evaluation model based on message passing graph neural network. The information corresponding to bus and transmission lines in microgrid is aggregated and updated by message passing mechanism, so as to depict the topological connection relationship of microgrid, and then consider the influence of topology structure on transient stability evaluation. Last, a WSCC-9 system with virtual synchronous machine is taken as an example. The results show that considering the energy storage detailed model and current limiting link can effectively improve the accuracy of stability analysis. The proposed method has stronger generalization ability and is more applicable to the microgrid system with variable topological structure. © 2023 IEEE.

For electronic devices with single chip heat consumption exceeding 600 W and heat flux density exceeding 50 W/cm2, the heat dissipation requirement of a single cabinet exceeding 50 kW provides a new solution for high heat consumption and high heat flux chip heat dissipation by combining boiling heat transfer with microchannels. The flow and heat transfer differences between microchannel and conventional channel evaporators were verified through experiments. The results show that compared with conventional channels, the heat dissipation temperature difference of microchannels is reduced by 44%. The slender structure of microchannel evaporators can achieve better heat transfer performance, and the flow boiling heat transfer coefficient can reach 2-3 W/cm2·K. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Advertising attribution is an effective method to measure the effect of various advertisements in the era of Internet advertising. It enables scientific tracking back and refined operation of advertising by quantitatively evaluating the contribution of different advertising channels to reach the target. It is challenging to predict conversion results based on users' journey data accurately, reflect the impact of ads on user conversions, and appropriately assign attribution values to advertising channels. To achieve the above objectives, we propose an advertising attribution method based on a temporal convolutional network with an attention mechanism (Att-TCN). By mining the hidden information in time and attribution channels using the attention mechanism, our proposed method can improve the accuracy of conversion prediction and thus more rationally assign attribution values across channels. Experimental validation on a real dataset obtained from an operational commercial advertising monitoring company shows that our proposed attribution method has better accuracy than other state-of-the-art attribution methods and gives an open-ended approach to attribution value assignment. © 2022 IEEE.
