Planetary gearboxes find extensive application in wind power generation, aerospace, industrial production and other fields. Harsh operational conditions and prolonged periods of continuous work often lead to various gear damages. Therefore, it is important to continuously monitor the health status of planetary gearboxes. However, the fault-sensitive frequencies of planetary gearboxes used in the existing signal models and fault diagnosis indicators are calculated theoretically or searched artificially. In response to this, this paper proposes a strategy for identifying fault-sensitive frequencies in planetary gearboxes intelligently by combining spectral amplitude analysis with three models: Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Deep Neural Network (DNN). Experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Murals are an important part of China's cultural heritage. Because of their age, Dunhuang murals have suffered from discoloration, fading and damage. With the development of computer image restoration technology, digital image processing provides strong support for mural restoration. Although there are many research results in the field of ancient mural images, there is no pre-trained model based on ancient mural images available for migration. There is a method for Dunhuang murals image restoration based on Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) with improved ResNet50 structure as an encoder in the generator. This research result proposes a generative adversarial network model with a parallel double convolutional extraction of deep features for the generator, combined with a ternary heterogeneous joint discriminator. On this basis, this paper proposes a binary classification task to distinguish ancient mural images from modern natural style images, so that the model pre-learns features such as color, texture, and structure of mural images, which are inputted into the restoration network as a priori information, in order to achieve the effect of reducing the probability of incomplete restoration of the model, and better generalization ability. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper has an overall improvement in the evaluation indexes such as Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR) and Structural Similarities(SSIM) when compared with other methods, and the restored images are more in line with human subjective vision, which proves the validity of the method. © 2024 IEEE.

Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) positioning system has become the main research object in indoor positioning field due to its superior positioning performance. Accuracy at the scale of centimeters is achievable in an ideal positioning scenario. Nonetheless, the intricate and changeable indoor surroundings may cause UWB signals to propagate beyond the line-of-sight (LOS) and weaken in signal strength, resulting in a considerable reduction in the precision of positioning. In this paper, methods for identifying non-line-of-sight (NLOS) errors, alleviating NLOS errors, and integrating multi-sensor information are analyzed and studied to provide reference for improving the NLOS positioning accuracy of UWB. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper studies on a division method of the whole aeroengine loading spectrum flight mission segment and rotor speed mission segment,which is based on the actual flight actions and related to the flight operations of aeroengine and is suitable for the variable-speed aeroengines such as turbojet and *** the research,the aeroengine loading spectrum operation-related mission segments can be divided,which can provide important data basis for the life research on the structures which are sensitive to flight maneuver(such as the main shaft,large gearbox and installation section),lay a foundation for the simulation,compilation and prediction of the whole aeroengine loading ***,based on the summary of basic flight actions in actual flight,the division of flight mission segment was realized by ***,the aeroengine rotor speed mission segments,associated with flight actions and missions,were divided based on the flight mission segment division ***,the efficiency and accuracy of the mission segment division results were verified by adopting measured loading spectrum ***,the characteristics of speed mission segment division results were compared and analyzed in tables and *** comparison results show that the characteristics of similar speed mission segments are similar,while the characteristics of different speed mission segments are *** the shapes of similar mission segments vary to the change of flight actions and operations,which can reflect the operation-related feature of the segments.

In addressing challenges such as the speed change of planetary gearbox (PG) during operation and the complexity in extracting fault features, an order demodulation analysis method based on order tracking (OT) and variational mode decomposition (VMD) is proposed. Non-stationary time domain signals are transformed into relatively stable angular domain signals through angular resampling. The intrinsic mode function (IMF) is obtained by demodulation of the angular multi-component signal using the VMD method. The instantaneous order of a proper IMF is calculated via Hilbert Transform. The sensitive single component is selected by matching the meshing order and the central order of the instantaneous order. Finally, the amplitude of the characteristic order components extracted from the instantaneous order spectrum was used as features and Support Vector Machine (SVM) was employed for the classification of four different conditions in the sun gear. Comparing the results of the proposed method with Deep Neural Networks (DNN) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in diagnosing PGs under non-stationary conditions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

In this paper, a novel guidance law aimed at intercepting targets of various motion forms with impact time and additional field-of-view (FOV) constraints is investigated. The polynomial function in range domain is designed to derive the guidance command in new-defined virtual relative frame, and the function of seeker's virtual FOV is introduced in the form of additional feedback term to achieve simultaneous constraints on impact time and FOV. Compared with existing methods based on numerical routines with open-loop formulations, the proposed guidance method has the potential to gain better performance in practical applications due to its analytical solution. The availability and practicability of the guidance method are demonstrated by simulations in various combat scenarios. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This study investigates the impact of multi-bit function perturbations (MFPs) on the steady-state distribution of Boolean networks (BNs), with a focus on robust stability. First, the algebraic formulation of BNs under MFPs is introduced. Then, a novel stability criterion is proposed, demonstrating that monotonically decreasing perturbations can effectively ensure the stability of BNs against MFPs. A significant advantage of this approach is that it enables robust stability assessment without remodeling the perturbed BNs. Applying this methodology to a simplified Boolean model of the lactose operon in Escherichia coli reveals that MFPs can serve as strategic tools to promote stability within BNs, rather than being merely disruptive. © 2024 IEEE.

In DC microgrids, current sharing and voltage regulation are two main objectives for real-time control, while the operation loss reduction is typically achieved by steady-state optimization. However, the ratio of current sharing is generally determined by the result of the centralized optimization in the classical hierarchical control framework of DC microgrids. Such an issue brings insufficient capability in respond to the changes of photovoltaic power and stored energy in the solar-powered energy systems. To handle this, this work proposes a distributed control scheme for single-bus DC microgrids. Under the proposed controller, the objectives of current sharing, bus voltage regulation and the total operation loss(converter loss and line loss) reduction can be guaranteed simultaneously. Moreover, the constraints on line currents and bus voltage are tackled as ***, simulations verify the performance of the proposed control scheme.

Aiming at the serious problem of wheel wear of six-axle heavy haul locomotive, the wheel-rail interface friction theory is introduced to study the influence of different friction coefficients on wheel wear. The heavy haul locomotive-track coupling dynamic model and wheel wear model are established by UM software, and the rail top/rail side lubrication simulation conditions are set to analyze the evolution law of wheel profile and the change of wear amount. The results show that: The higher the friction coefficient of the rail top will reduce the tread wear of the first and third wheelset, but increase the flange wear rate. Under the friction coefficient of 0.40 at the rail top, the wear rates of the flanges of the first-to-third wheelset are 0.72, 0.41, and 0.52 mm/10,000 km, respectively. When the friction coefficient of the rail top is 0.40, the wear reduction rates of the flanges of the first-to-third wheelset are 16.88%, 9.97% and 9.11%, respectively, but the wear reduction of the flanges of the second wheelset is 0.20 mm under the friction coefficient of the rail top of 0.20. The research results provide a reference for wheel wear reduction of heavy haul locomotives, and provide a new idea for the research of locomotive wheel-rail interface friction management. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The decoding success rate may be worse when classical degree distributions are used in short-packet transmission of rateless codes, especially in industrial communication scenarios. A novel Boltzmann degree distribution is proposed for Luby Transform (LT) codes. The Boltzmann degree distribution has a high decoding success rate for short-packet transmission but a lower decoding success rate in long-packet transmission. To balance the performance of rateless codes for short and long packet transmission, the Boltzmann degree distribution and the robust soliton distribution (RSD) are combined with a new joint degree distribution, called Boltzmann Robust Soliton Distribution (BRSD). Simulation results show that compared with RSD and Poisson robust soliton distribution (PRSD), the proposed joint distribution can achieve a higher decoding success rate and reduce the average degree, especially in short-packet transmission of industrial communication. © 2024 IEEE.
