The proliferation of complex online media has accelerated the process of ideology. The formation process can also be influenced by interested people through advertising channels, the media through which messages are distributed to the target audience. There is also a trade-off between using cheap channels versus using expensive but effective channels. These rival forces make it difficult to prioritize the optimal allocation of funds. There are also important technical challenges to solving this problem, because describing the optimal budget allocation between channels over a period of time requires describing the optimal finite vector structure of the controls on the chart. To achieve the most productivity in marketing, you need to determine how a given budget can be allocated to all channels to the actions that are done for business purposes such as revenue, ROI (return on investment), rate Maximize growth and the like. Therefore, the strategy of the media budget allocation model is primarily as an exercise focused on cost and achieving the goal, by identifying a specific framework for a media program. Numerous researchers in the field of optimizing the achievement and frequency of media selection models to help superior planning decisions in the face of the complexity and large amount of information available, so in this study to provide a planning model We do the math to program the media for advertising construction campaigns, using the media mix model. Also, In this case, a decision-making strategy centered on the FMEA is used to identify and prioritize risk factors financial of the media system in companies. Nevertheless, because this strategy has some significant limitations, this research has presented a decision-making approach depending on Z-number theory. For the sustainable viewpoint in the road construction sector, fly ash (FA) as one of the potential industrial by-products for recycling would be on finding its alternative utilization. In this study, FA and hydrated lime (HL) as the pozzolanic materials were improved using the sodium hydroxide in a solid form (NaOH) and the asphalt emulsion (AE) for being a road base stabilizer. Effects of additional NaOH and AE into the FA-HL binder were investigated through mechanical properties, structural formation, and durability. Study results revealed that using NaOH increased the compressive strength but decreased the workability of the FA-HL binder. Since NaOH stimulated the FA-HL binder to fabricate cementitious products as N-A-S-H gels. The addition of AE in the FA-HL binder with NaOH could prolong the hardening process, indicating the retardation on the structural formation of pozzolanic reaction and polymerization. Besides, NaOH and AE as the FA-HL treated base material additives had an insignificant effect on the compaction characteristic. Using NaOH and AE into the FA-HL treated base material could develop proficient bearing strength and durability in the wet-dry deterioration. According to these experiments, adding NaOH and AE into the FA-HL binder for road base stabilization can reach the minimum criteria of the flexible pavement base. Eventually, the pozzolanic materials essentially require the extra additives for a new road base stabilization based on eco-friendliness. © 2021 The Author(s)

Most energy exchanges take place through the building skin. The skin characteristics play a decisive role in the extent of these exchanges, but they are somewhat more varied in the double skin façade (DSF). Among these characteristics, cavity segmentation has a noticeable effect on the implementation of the DSF in different directions during the hot and cold seasons. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of DSF segmentation in energy consumption and natural ventilation of high-rise buildings in hot and dry climates. This study used DesignBuilder software to study sixty-four segmentation component scenarios in an eight-story residential building in Isfahan, Iran. Moreover, a proposed hybrid model utilizing the hybridization of the Hunger Game Search and Gradient Boosting (HGS-GB) algorithm was employed to estimate energy consumption in various scenarios involving lighting, heating, cooling, and total scenarios. The available outcomes revealed that the HGS-GB model had a better performance in comparison with other individual models, such as Gradient Boosting (GB), Random Forest (RF), and K-nearest neighbors (KNN). The R2 values for lighting, heating, cooling, and total energy estimation were 0.9993, 0.9958, 0.9991, and 0.9922, respectively. The findings of this study suggest the significance of DSF segmentation in energy consumption and natural ventilation in high-rise buildings in hot and dry climates. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) are extremely energetic, charged particles with energies greater than 1018 eV, originating from outer space. We investigate anisotropic patterns in the arrival direction distribution of UHECRs to identify their source locations. The Telescope Array (TA) experiment, the largest UHECR observatory in the northern hemisphere, has observed evidence of two intermediate-scale anisotropies in UHECR arrival direction distributions: the TA Hotspot and the Perseus-Pisces supercluster excess. In this presentation, we will describe an oversampling analysis that we performed to find the excess of events using the data measured by the TA surface detector array. Detecting anomalies in multivariate time-series data is an important task in various real-world industries, but doing so is non-trivial because both the temporal dependency within the time series and correlations between multiple time series must be considered. Previous studies have only addressed one issue, resulting in limited performance. To address this, we propose a graph convolution-based recurrent encoder-decoder, called GC-RED. The model incorporates intra-dependencies and inter-correlations using a graph-construction process and an encoding-decoding process that encodes the graph with an attention-enhanced graph convolutional LSTM and then restores it. Anomaly detection and root cause identification are performed based on the reconstruction error. Considering that anomalies with various durations can occur in actual situations, the model includes a vanilla model reflecting single scales and a model reflecting multiple scales. The feasibility and usefulness of GC-RED are demonstrated by intensive experiments on several benchmark and real-world datasets with comparisons to other competitive methods. © 2023, The Authors. The use of plastics has become deeply ingrained in our society, and there are no indications that its prevalence will decrease in the foreseeable future. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the global plastic waste disposal landscape, examining it through regional perspectives, various management technologies (dumping or landfilling, incineration, and reuse and recycling), and across different sectors including agriculture and food, textile, tourism, and healthcare. Notably, this study compiles the findings on life-cycle carbon footprints associated with various plastic waste management practices as documented in the literature. Employing the bio-circular-green economy model, we advocate for the adoption of streamlined and sustainable approaches to plastic management. Unique management measures are also discussed including the utilization of bioplastics combined with smart and efficient collection processes that facilitate recycling, industrial composting, or anaerobic digestion. Moreover, the integration of advanced recycling methods for conventional plastics with renewable energy, the establishment of plastic tax and credits, and the establishment of extended producer responsibility are reviewed. The success of these initiatives relies on collaboration and support from peers, industries, and consumers, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making and fostering sustainable practices in plastic waste management. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

Workers in a construction site may be exposed various hazards and risks and may work with excessive demands beyond their physical abilities. It is important for construction companies to sustain a workforce in the work environment that does not sacrifice worker safety and health and maintains the required productivity. The purpose of this study was to develop a method for real-time estimation of the workload risk of individual workers at a construction site. Based on previous studies, we developed a workload model that includes behavioral information and physical characteristics of workers in addition to heart rate reserve (%HRR). Recent wearable devices have sufficient performance for measuring biological and physical load data without interfering from their work. In this case study, heart rate and physical activity were measured using smart wear equipped with a biosensor, an acceleration sensor and IoT system developed in our research. Using a logistic regression analysis as the statistical methods and SPSS as the analysis tool, we analyzed the risk caused by the workload. As a result, it became clear that the physical activity and the heart rate will be the important parameters for estimating workload risk in construction works. However, worker age and body mass index (BMI) did not have a significant effect on estimating workload risk. In the construction site, types of works and skills of workers will change according to the progress of the project. In order to ensure a stable workforce and productivity, it is necessary for construction industry to manage workers' health and safety. In conclusion of this paper, we propose that the real-time monitoring of heart rate and physical activity during construction work can be used for human resource management (HRM). With the development of this study, it will be possible to determine how the workers' workload affects productivity. Project management is important for the success of a software project. Enhancing software project management effectiveness measurements should lead the project manager to advance practices that contribute to the successful development of software projects. This study aims to enhance project management effectiveness measurements in the direction of increase the likelihood of software project success. An enhanced evaluation model of software project management effectiveness has been proposed in this study. Correspondingly, the model fed into a developed software project management effectiveness evaluation tool. This measurement tool helps software development managers to evaluate, monitor and improve project management effectiveness in software projects. The developed software project management effectiveness evaluation tool has been validated by a feedback survey. This paper implements an execution unit that generates grid square codes from latitude and longitude on a RISC-V processor and evaluates its performance. In recent years, a statistical analysis which uses grid square codes has been focused. Although grid square codes are obtained from latitude and longitude based on several equations, this calculation requires a long computing time because it needs a lot of floating-point *** this paper, an execution unit which generates grid square codes from latitude and longitude is designed, and the instruction which generates grid square codes by using the unit is implemented on a RISC-V processor. The proposed execution unit can generate the corresponding grid square code from latitude and longitude in one *** a benchmark, a program that counts the number of times randomly generated latitudes and longitudes match the specified grid square codes is used. Experimental results show the in-order RISC-V processor with the proposed unit which implemented on an FPGA achieves a 36.6% reduction of execution time compared to the original processor. In addition, the performance evaluation of the out-of-order RISC-V processor with the proposed unit by using the gem5 simulator shows a 23.9% reduction of execution cycles compared to the original processor. © 2020 IEEE.

To propel us toward a greener and more resilient future, it is imperative that we adopt renewable sources and implement innovative sustainable solutions in response to the escalating energy crisis. Thus, renewable energies have emerged as a viable solution to the global energy crisis, with photovoltaic energy being one of the prominent sources in this regard. This paper represents a significant step in the desired direction by focusing on detailed, comprehensive dynamic modeling and efficient control of photovoltaic (PV) systems as grid-connected energy sources. The ultimate goal is to enhance system reliability and ensure high power quality. The behavior of the suggested photovoltaic system is tested under varying sun radiation conditions. The PV system is complemented by a boost converter and a three-phase pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter, with MATLAB software employed for system investigation. This research paper enhances photovoltaic (PV) system performance through the integration of model-predictive control (MPC) with a high-gain DC–DC converter. It improves maximum power point tracking (MPPT) efficiency in response to the variability of solar energy by combining MPC with the traditional incremental conductance (IN-C) method. Additionally, the system incorporates a DC–AC converter for three-phase pulse width modulation, which is also controlled by predictive control technology supported by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to further enhance performance. PSO was selected due to its capability to optimize complex systems and its proficiency in handling nonlinear functions and multiple variables, making it an ideal choice for improving MPC control performance. The simulation results demonstrate the system’s ability to maintain stable energy production despite variations in solar irradiation levels, thus highlighting its effectiveness. © 2023 by the authors.
