This work pertains to the generation of navigation functions for obstacle avoidance and target tracking. One initially defines a so-called spherical world which can be further mapped into many other different topologies using a series of diffeomorphic transformations. This specific configuration further allows one to exploit the main advantages of the sum function approach with respect to the obstacle collision avoidance capabilities of an agent, sum function which is used in order to induce an effective navigation function judging not only from computational perspective, but also from the local minima point of view. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Arsenic(As)is recognized as a persistent and toxic contaminant in the environment that is harmful to ***,a porous carbonaceous material with tunable functionality,has been used widely as an adsorbent for remediating As-contaminated water and *** types of pristine and modified biochar are available,and significant efforts have been made toward modifying the surface of biochars to increase their adsorption capacity for *** capacity is influenced by multiple factors,including biomass pyrolysis temperature,pH,the presence of dissolved organic carbon,surface charge,and the presence of phosphate,silicate,sulfate,and microbial *** As adsorption in modified biochars is attributed to several mechanisms including surface complexation/precipitation,ion exchange,oxidation,reduction,electrostatic interactions,and surface functional groups that have a relatively higher affinity for *** biochars show promise for As adsorption;however,further research is required to improve the performance of these *** example,modified biochars must be eco-friendly,cost-effective,reliable,efficient,and sustainable to ensure their widespread application for immobilizing As in contaminated water and *** relevant research to address these issues relies on a thorough understanding of biochar modifications to *** study presents an in-depth review of pristine and modified biochars,including their production,physicochemical properties,and As adsorption ***,a comprehensive evaluation of biochar applications is provided in As-contaminated environments as a guide for selecting suitable biochars for As removal in the field.

Detecting anomalies in multivariate time-series data is an important task in various real-world industries, but doing so is non-trivial because both the temporal dependency within the time series and correlations between multiple time series must be considered. Previous studies have only addressed one issue, resulting in limited performance. To address this, we propose a graph convolution-based recurrent encoder-decoder, called GC-RED. The model incorporates intra-dependencies and inter-correlations using a graph-construction process and an encoding-decoding process that encodes the graph with an attention-enhanced graph convolutional LSTM and then restores it. Anomaly detection and root cause identification are performed based on the reconstruction error. Considering that anomalies with various durations can occur in actual situations, the model includes a vanilla model reflecting single scales and a model reflecting multiple scales. The feasibility and usefulness of GC-RED are demonstrated by intensive experiments on several benchmark and real-world datasets with comparisons to other competitive methods. © 2024, The Authors. Dynamic programming is a fundamental algorithm that can be found in our daily lives easily. One of the dynamic programming algorithm implementations consists of solving the 0/1 knapsack problem. A 0/1 knapsack problem can be seen from industrial production cost. It is prevalent that a production cost has to be as efficient as possible, but the expectation is to get the proceeds of the products higher. Thus, the dynamic programming algorithm can be implemented to solve the diverse knapsack problem, one of which is the 0/1 knapsack problem, which would be the main focus of this paper. The implementation was implemented using C language. This paper was created as an early implementation algorithm using a Dynamic program algorithm applied to an Automatic Identification System (AIS) dataset. © 2023 IEEE.

Critical successful factors affecting adoption of eHealth system in developing countries

Recently, cloud computing has gained popularity in healthcare systems with its ability to provide health services especially to people in remote areas. Despite its numerous advantages, there is still a significant number of healthcare users who do not fully approve the use of the technology especially in emerging nations were there are cases data privacy issues and lack of IT infrastructure. The study objects to proper identification on factors that influence users’ opinions regarding their preference to adoptcloud based health awareness system. 366 respondents were questioned with questionnaires in four site of Jordan and there was an estimated 66.7% response. Data was analyzed using *** to giveadmittance to healthcare services especially those in remote areas to reduce time required to access medical centers and associated costs. Results: PE{B = 0.30 &T = 5.81}, EE{B = 0.18 &T = 3.91}, SI{B = 0.207&T = 3.96}, FC{B = 0.21 &T = 4.83}, privacy P {B = 0.150 &T = 3.08}, and information exchange IE{B = 0.110 &T = 2.52}have a grave effect to consumer's behaviorpurpose. But cloud based health awareness CBHA {β = 0.10& t = 1.50} identified as numerically insignificant. Based on the results policy makers need to consider the findings to ensure there is proper integration failure it will result to challenges created. © 2020 Mattingley Publishing. This paper implements an execution unit that generates world grid square codes from latitude and longitude on a RISC-V processor and evaluates its performance. In recent years, grid square statistics have been focused for data analysis such as behavior pattern estimation of tourists. In Japan, grid squares codes which are defined in the Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) X0410 are used. Since grid square codes based on the JIS X0410 cover only the area around Japan, the world grid square coding system has been proposed. In the world grid square coding system, the world is separated into eight areas, and the world grid square code includes the code for specifying the area. In each area, the remaining of the world grid square code is obtained in the way based on the JIS *** world grid square codes are obtained from latitude and longitude based on several equations, this calculation requires a long computing time. Because it needs not only a lot of floating-point instructions for generating codes in each area, but also determining the code for the area by detecting where the latitude and longitude are. In this paper, an execution unit which generates world grid square codes from latitude and longitude is designed, and the instruction which generates world grid square codes by using the unit is implemented on a RISC-V processor. The proposed execution unit can generate the corresponding world grid square code from latitude and longitude in one cycle. As a benchmark, a program that counts the number of times randomly generated latitudes and longitudes match the specified world grid square codes is used. Experimental results show the RISC-V processor with the proposed unit which is implemented on an FPGA achieves a 48.6% reduction of execution time compared to the original processor. © 2021 IEEE.

In this research study, we compare the predictive performance of two advanced deep learning-based models in order to provide a solution to TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization) response prediction in HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) patients. Using entire abdominal CT scans enabled a broader perspective available for the model, eliminating the need for segmentation during the preprocessing. Making use of both single-phase and multi-phase CT imaging, we have used DenseNet121 and have obtained an accuracy of 80% for the multi-phase *** Relevance: The ability to predict the effectiveness of TACE treatment prior to its administration makes it possible to provide a better decision-making aid for physicians and patients.

The contemporary manufacturing landscape grapples with the escalating dynamic and individualized demands. To swiftly meet personalized production orders, manufacturers are tapping into open production logistics (PL) resources from socialized resource platforms. However, in such a volatile and socialized production environment, manufacturers are in dire need of reliable open resource management and decision-making tools for production logistics to sustain their market edge. This becomes even more pronounced for SMEs. This paper, focusing on the intricacies of dynamic production logistics, explores the challenge of " production logistics trusted synchronization (PLTS)" in an open-resource context. We propose an innovative service infrastructure that synergizes blockchain and digital twin for PLTS. This system effectively combines the advantages of blockchain-driven cloud manufacturing resource management with digital twin control systems, presenting a holistic solution encompassing flexible trustworthy resource organization and open production logistics synchronization support. Currently, the device that helps small ships navigate is a plotter that displays a chart. For economic reasons, it is difficult for small ships to have more equipment to assist navigation. Therefore, this suggestion, which allows you to mark your surroundings with a small number of sensors, would be helpful. This paper shows where complex and rapidly changing inland waterway environments can be quickly detected using one LiDAR and safely navigated. Implement Image using Point Cloud Data obtained from LiDAR. Deep learning quickly segments your surroundings and displays information on images for navigation that is safe for navigators. It also displays Ship Safety Domain in the Image to help navigators easily identify safe navigation zones. The program quickly visualizes the ship's surroundings with just one LiDAR and specifies Ship Safety Domain. It aims to improve the safety of ships by enabling proactive navigation and collision prevention strategies for objects and other ships.
